Callion had been training in the Gravitron 4.0 Training Room for a whole month, honing his skills as a Saiyan warrior. He had pushed himself to the limit, testing his strength and endurance, and had emerged stronger than ever before. His muscles were stronger, his reflexes sharper, and his senses more acute than ever before. But he knew that there was still one more challenge to face: mastering the art of the Spirit Bomb. Just as he was about to leave the training room, he received a telepathic message from his master, King Kai.
"Callion, my pupil," the voice of King Kai boomed in Callion's mind. "You have done well in your training so far, but there is still much to learn. You must come to my planet in Otherworld to complete your final week of training." Clearly the message was urgent, and it required Callion to travel to Otherworld to complete his final week of training. But there was one problem: accessing Otherworld was no easy task. No doubt the fated moment when Liari was about to return to the living world drawn ever more closer and more dangerous with each passing day.
Callion knew that King Kai's planet was only accessible by crossing the Snake Way, a long, winding road that stretched for millions of miles. But he also knew that he had no choice but to accept his master's invitation. However, this required Callion to travel to Otherworld to complete his final week of training. But there was one problem: accessing Otherworld was no easy task as the only classical way to enter the Otherworld; the very souls of the dead travel to meet their final resting place in either Heaven or Hell enter. But King Kai knew that time was of the essence, and that Callion needed to complete his training as soon as possible. So, he called upon one of King Yemma's assistants to open a portal for Callion to enter Otherworld for the last time.
The assistant, a small, rotund creature with a bushy moustache and bright red eyes, was hesitant at first. He knew that opening a portal to Otherworld was no easy feat, and that it could be dangerous if not done properly. But King Kai assured him that Callion was a worthy warrior, and that his training was of the utmost importance. So, the assistant set to work, using his magical powers to open a portal to Otherworld. The portal glowed with a bright, ethereal light, and Callion could feel its energy pulsing through him. He stepped through the portal and into Otherworld, feeling a sense of wonder and awe at the strange, otherworldly landscape that surrounded him.
As Callion arrived in Otherworld, he was greeted by his master, King Kai. The Saiyan student and Kai Master shared a brief moment of camaraderie and delight in the time-honoured tradition of jokes and puns, but the urgency of the situation soon took over. King Kai explained to Callion that he had one more week of training left, and it would be the most rigorous and challenging week yet.
"Welcome, Callion," King Kai greeted him. "I see that you have grown stronger since we last met."
"Thank you, Master," Callion replied. "I am ready to complete my training."
"Good," King Kai said. "But before we begin, I must warn you that this will be the most rigorous training you have ever undergone. You will need to push yourself to your limits and beyond. The time has come for you to fully learn and master the Spirit Bomb itself."
At long last, this was what Callion was waiting for – the very moment where he could finally harness the energy of the universe itself; The Spirit Bomb. Callion listened intently, his eyes focused on his master. He knew that the Spirit Bomb was a legendary technique, one that had been used by the greatest warriors in the universe to defeat even the most powerful enemies.
"But before we begin, I want to make sure that you understand the fundamentals of the technique, for the last time… And, well, for old times sakes." King Kai continued. "The Spirit Bomb is a technique that requires you to gather energy from all living things around you. You then focus that energy into a ball of pure, concentrated power, which you can then use to destroy your enemies." Callion nodded, his mind racing with the possibilities of the technique. He knew that with the Spirit Bomb, he could become an unstoppable force, capable of taking down even the most powerful foes.
"But there is a catch," King Kai said, his voice serious. "The Spirit Bomb requires a tremendous amount of energy to execute. You must gather energy from all living things, which means that you must be able to sense and control the energy around you. It also means that you must have a pure heart and be able to control your emotions, as any negative energy you gather will taint the Spirit Bomb and make it weaker."
Callion listened carefully, knowing that the technique would require him to push himself to his limits. He knew that he had the strength and the discipline to do it, but he also knew that he would need his master's guidance and support.
“While you learnt the basic principal and fundational level of the Spirit Bomb; making a small and medium size ball of pure energy of the universe into the palm of your hands. For this final lesson, you’ll be gathering the energy of all life across the stars, to create a gigantic ball of energy. So, you will be having to stand still, lifting both hands up and gathering a large amount of energy.”
The Saiyan gulped for a moment, he felt rather unsure of this. Sure; he managed to get the basic down, but to finally put the full use of the Ultimate Technique itself into action? This was going to be a very difficult even for a Saiyan warrior of his calibre. King Kai noticed the apprehension in Callion's eyes and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "I know this may seem daunting, but I have faith in you, Callion. You have already shown incredible progress in your training, and I know that you have what it takes to master this technique."
Callion took a deep breath and nodded, steeling himself for the challenge ahead. "I won't let you down, Master." The Kai smiled, happy to hear that the Saiyan was going to go all the way with his training, taking on the very final challenge in learning the Spirit Bomb. "Good. Now, let us begin," King Kai said, stepping back and gesturing for Callion to take his place in the training area. The Saiyan closed his eyes and focused on his breathing, centring himself and tapping into his inner power. He then lifted his hands up, palms facing the sky, and began to gather energy from all living things across the universe.
At first, the energy was slow to come, and Callion felt his muscles straining under the weight of it all. But he pushed through the pain, drawing on his Saiyan heritage and his training to channel the energy into a massive ball of pure energy. With the ball grew larger and larger, Callion felt a surge of power course through his body. He could feel the energy pulsing through his veins, filling him with a sense of invincibility. "Keep going, Callion! You are doing great!" King Kai encouraged him from the side-lines. Callion gritted his teeth and continued to pour his energy into the ball, his muscles bulging with the effort. He could feel the energy growing more and more unstable, and he knew that he had to release it soon.
Finally, with a shout, Callion hurled the massive ball of energy forward, the Spirit Bomb began to eventually disappear, allowing the energies of the universe to return to their original owners. Though if such a massive ball of pure energy were to collide with someone, the very force of the blast would very well be devastating. Callion collapsed to his knees, panting, and sweating from the effort. But he also felt a sense of pride and accomplishment that he had never felt before.
"Well done, Callion. You have mastered the Ultimate Technique," King Kai said, his voice filled with pride. Callion looked up at his master, a smile spreading across his face. He knew that he had finally become the warrior that he was meant to be, and he was ready to take on any challenge that came his way.
The Saiyan was gasping for air, his body laying on the soft ground that was King Kai's Planet in otherworld. "Goodness... Gracious The Spirit Bomb... In it's true form... Is no joke." The Saiyan said with amazement, having just about managed to lift up both his hands, seeing them shake and quiver due to the adrenaline of having to concentrate so much, pour his own energy ALONG with collecting the vast energy across the stars into a singular ball. "Heheheh... Now I understand why you have to use such a technique as a last resort..." Callion chuckled as he groaned, feeling not only drained but, also incredibly satisfied with himself.
King Kai chuckled in response. "Indeed, the Spirit Bomb is not something to be taken lightly. It requires immense focus and control, as well as a deep connection with the universe itself. But you have proven yourself worthy of mastering it, Callion."
Callion nodded, his eyes closing as he took a few deep breaths to calm his racing heart. "Thank you, Master. I couldn't have done it without your guidance and training." King Kai smiled warmly at his student. "You have always been a dedicated and hardworking student, Callion. It has been an honour to train you."
Callion opened his eyes and looked up at his master. "What's next, Master? Is there anything else you can teach me?" It was at that point that King Kai shook his head from the answer, “I have taught you all I know on how to fight the good fight. You now have both the Kaioken and Spirit Bomb under your belt… There is nothing left for me to teach you.” With that answer, Callion slowly got up and bowed in respect to his master. “Thank you for everything King Kai… But I do not know where else to learn.”
That was when King Kai had an idea… Planet Yardrat; Master Pybara the Yardratian Elder of the planet… “You know Callion… I do happen to know a planet within the System across the Galaxy that can give you a much needed boost and learning potential.” King Kai spoke with a grin. “Tell me, do you know the Planet Yardrat by chance? Along with the race that live on the planet called the Yardratians?” Callion, instantly by that point shook his head, meaning no.
King Kai chuckled. "That's understandable, not many people know about them. The Yardratians are a peaceful and highly skilled race known for their unique abilities in teleportation and energy manipulation. They were the ones who taught Goku the Instant Transmission technique." Callion's eyes widened in amazement. "Unbelievable… What an incredible technique, it’s that incredibly powerful? Do you think they could teach me as well?" King Kai nodded. "I have no doubt that they could. And who knows, you may even learn other useful techniques from them." Callion felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of learning more from the Yardratians.
"How do I get there, Master?" King Kai smiled. "I can arrange for a favour in letting Master Pybara know of your arrival, you can use your Warship to get to their planet. But be warned, the journey is long and treacherous. You will need to be prepared for anything that may come your way." Callion nodded, determination in his eyes. "I'm ready, Master. I'll do whatever it takes to become stronger." King Kai smiled proudly at his student. "I have no doubt that you will, Callion. Now go, and take care of yourself, for this might be our last encounter with one another, but I will be sure to always be here and talk to you through telepathy." With that, Callion bowed one last time to his master and made his way to the Portal that was opened once again by the King Yemma assistance for the last time, returning to the Planet Earth that was waiting for him, ready to embark on his next journey.
But finally, at long last… Callion now learnt the Spirit Bomb in it’s entirety.
