The shell that Halos had proved to be quite bountiful in terms of food and menial aid. The sons of Halos were interesting to say the least, but Kamae had learned to stir clear of them. The demon's advances into reasonings and logics proving to be his undoing. His once sound determination now dimmed by the prospect of killing this universes life. Sure he wanted to replace the cycle, to guide it but was he truly capable of such a thing alone? He had begun to wonder...
Standing outside of the town Halos owned, the demon stood in the open field. There the green haired demon stared off into the distance, his yellow eyes seeing past the fabric of this universe, observing the primordial beings outside the fabric. They were simply mindless beasts, incapable of judgement or want... they were perfect beings, and yet they were disgusting to look at. Could such perfection be the truth he sought? He didn't think perfection was ever something appealing, but when he found out how close they were to what one would consider... perfect... Kamae almost emptied his stomach at the mere idea.
Life was boundless, endless and cancerous. Once formed, it could not be simply cut out of existence so easily. Not even the demonic entity in his primal form could vanish the light of creation. It was far to potent for even a primordial entity of the void to match, and its boundaries proved as thin as a veil. Easily parted to see within, yet Kamae could only find it amusing to watch the darklings claw at the edges of creation. A smile forming along his mouth as he watched the eldritch entites, his brothers claw fervently at the boundaries of their universe. Pathetic creatures, unable to conquer such a weak thing...
Kamae held out his hand then, a black puddle forming under his hand before a small book formed. From the puddle beneath the book a pedestal rose up and the demon would take the book for a moment. Without opening it, the demon would toss it before him. The book catching mid air as if on a web, the boundaries around the book suddenly cracking as the fabric of reality itself cracked beneath his whim. Holding out a hand, the demon would watch as the glowing book would burst open to reveal a spiraling blur of pages. The pages seeming endless as they continued to turn rapidly.
Kamae let his magic arch off his fingers into the air where they caressed the book's edges and then filled the lines with his magic. The cracks going from white to green as his magic soon began to form new cracks, pushing the old ones out further and further till finally the wall came crashing down. With it a black sludge came splattering to the ground in a great wave, washing around kamae's feet and then stopping. The sludge then expanding upwards only to then began pulling itself back in. The wall seeming to fade out of existence but in reality had simply repaired itself, leaving behind the black sludge.
Kamae watched with pride, his face twisted into a proud but fieces smile that showed the many teeth he once kept hidden. His true face revealed to the world as his "son" was brought forth. Still formless, powerless and helpless... But Kamae would make his own son into a monster of his own image. Yes seeing Halos' own spawn made the demon wish for his own linage. One of his own making, flawed but an example of life. The sludge slowly formed a ball, one that slowly moved towards Kamae and stopping just before his person. The orb was a solid mass, its surface reflecting all it shown.
A ball of pure primordial magic, fresh and ready to be molded... but it would have to wait.
"Sleep my son... You will grow strong... feed on me and know true strength."
With that kamae held out his hand, his palm touching the surface causing it to ripple around itself. The ripples colliding at the epicenter of where his hand touched before engulfing it like a hungry maw. The black sludge slowly consuming his arm, more and more of it. The sludge the would stop at his shoulder before retracting. In its removal from his person, his arm was soon revealed to be gone having been eaten by the sludge. The sludge didn't immediately react but instead sat silently. After a few moments, the orb then flowed like water towards Kamae's shoulder and connecting to it. Soon the orb formed a new arm, and the demon was left smiling, his face having returned to normal during his wait.
When his arm finished forming, he would take a few test flexing of his fingers and hand to confirm it worked as it should. Now that his son was incubating nicely, the demon could work on more important things... like growing stronger and feeding this parasite more power.

wc 709 Pl:14795x3=44385pl -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It had only been a day since their attempt at having Halos turn mortal or at the very least temporarily mortal. It was progress for the two and for the most part Halos was quite pleased with it, so pleased that he had forgotten to tell anyone about his attempts at a disguise, leaving him to reap the karma of his lack of foresight. By the time the transformation had worn off, night had moved in, leaving Halos in no shape to spar after his children's attack. He did not blame them but none the less hated letting Kamae see such a show, a scene the demon had mostly likely expected to happen at some point in their training. He also suspected he had let it happen just to show Halos just how vulnerable he was during the transformation, and simply to enjoy the chaos.
With the new day he had regained his strength and was ready to put it yesterday's chaos behind him. To this end he had begun to search for Kamae, the servants making easy for him to find him as they reported him moving towards the city. From there it was simple matter of moving though the city and asking the guards or commoners if they had seen him. While he was welcome in the city, he was without a doubt a stranger, an oddly dressed stranger that shared none of the physical traits of the inhabitants. In short, he stood out, making each person who saw him stop and stare, their eyes seeing an outsider in the shell for the first time in thousands of years. The search did not take long, the titan finding him within an hour of starting his search.
However, on finding him he noticed something was off as he watched the man form a distance. He could not quite see what it was form where he was standing but he knew the light of Kamaes magic even form here, or rather what seemed to be a lack of light in his eyes as the demon performed his strange magic. Moving closer the strange power subsided before Halos could quite catch what it was, a turn of events that made him huff for a moment before moving on.
"There you are Kamae, I trust you have managed to keep yourself entertained while I was gone?" he called, his voice echoing even form a distance as he closed in on Kamae. It hardly took him any time at all with his size to make it to Kamae, the Titan looking down with what seemed like a very lightly bruised eye socket. " No.....what did they call it above ground? Zombie attacks in the city of Havlin?" He jested knowing very well that there was none or would not be any in the foreseeable future.
Turning he looked around the area, the empty land here was not in use and would not be in foreseeable future, the expansion to the nearby islands above ground putting a halt into the cites need for more space. A perfect place for them to hold their little sparring session, a spar he was very much looking forward to. Despite them being allies Halos dearly wanted to know which of the two was stronger, a fact that would elude him for as long as they were allies unless they did spar. There was also the fact he really had only ever had to fight his children, the three barely able to last a few mins against them all at once. He had never been challenged before, and it was time to learn like everyone else what it was like to fight an equal.
"A bit sudden, but I was wondering if you might be interested in the sparring match you mentioned yesterday. I think my.... duties as father distracted us before? he asked while he avoided the part where he had been squarely knocked out by his favored son. Tilting his head he looked down at Kamae, half his brain hoping he would say yes and the other half hoping he would say no just so he could force it anyways. The ladder proving to be a troubling thought to banish as he released a deep breath.

Kamae was testing his new arm out when Halos came to greet him. The demon looking over his shoulder before chuckling in amusement at the giant of a man's attempt at humor. Though he didn't understand a single word of it, he assumed it was a rather modern or this universe common phrase... not one he understood but he was happy to humor the titan. It wasn't till the titan brought up the prospect of a spar that Kamae's eyes sparked interest.
"Aye, you see... In the past I was robbed of my body, and when I regained it, I was still separated from my flesh. I used it more like a remote control car than an actual body... I am in need of stress testing my new form. This form is weakened when compared to my original form but still more powerful than most."
Kamae was technically an infant demon with the soul of an elder primal demon... A rather amusing thought really. Still he would begin by being honest with Halos. Now was the time to strengthen their bonds, not severe them with mistrust. Long gone was the Kamae of old, to arrogant to accept the aid of like minded individuals. With his meeting of Zerori and new found affection for life... now he had a more conquerors mindset rather than an entity of death.
"So before we begin... You must know things... This things must be revealed for us to work together. The heroes have one thing we do not... one thing they will always use to win against us... Trust and allies."
Kamae stated, looking the man in the dead center of his eye. His own serpent eyes reflecting Halos'. The moment was not some simple little matter... Kamae would trust Halos with the truth, so that he might determine if their goals could be aligned.
"I am a demon of the dark, a demon of the void. I hail from a different time, or universe... it matters little but know this... I am a foreigner to this realm... You might think of me like a parasite wasp... I have laid the egg, that which you see before you..."
Kamae gestured to his own body, one hand on his chest, the other thrown out to his side as a showcase gesture.
"But when this body matures into its full glory... I will become a living embodiment of the void... an eldritch being of the dark... and light... But you see I am missing something... an important something..."
Kamae would state as he took a few steps back, holding out a hand to his side, palm facing the ground. His other hand going behind his back, the demon walking slowly but deliberately away from Halos. Then silver lines would slowly emerge from Kamae's hands, the lines slowly falling closer and closer to the ground. As the silver wires hit the ground, the very earth itself moved as if heavy wires were dragging through the ground, like cables.
Clearly not normal wires, the demon continued to fiddle with them until they seemed to hook to something, pulling tight as kamae gently tugged this way and that with it, looking as if he was playing with something while he was moving.
"I lost my goal recently... I wanted to destroy creation out of anger... but now? Now I think I want to rule it... Yet I would need allies to rule anything... So Halos, titan born and replacer of the gods... What sort of arrangement can we come to with that hmmm? A demonic entity of the dark void, older than probably even this universe itself... As old as time itself and a fresh body to ripen into..."
Kamae turned to Halos then, his hand held up to chest level, his fingers twitching here and there as if tugging on things beneath the earth.
"Lets say we win all of this Halos and I gave you free pick... What would your end goal be? Subjugation? Domination, genocide, heresy? What ideals drive the giant Titan Halos?"
Kamae asked, his finger still playing with his invisible toy, the wires uprooting the earth in the same spot, the wires angled towards the ground but forwards. Whatever it was, Kamae was simply enjoying jumbling it around with his wires, the thin silver lines still visible in the light as they searched the ground almost like spot lights protecting an area.

wc:698 To say Halo's was distracted by Kamae's sudden change in topic was an understatement, he had expected more on their sparing match rather than confessions of his origin. However, after witnessing his strange powers as well as the demon's arrival in this world, Halos was not all to shocked about Kamae's origins. Surprised, but not shocked into silence even if he was expecting a much more mundane explanation to the demon. No what shocked the Titan even more then than his origin was Kamae's confession about trust and allies. And while the two of them were in fact allies, they had a mutual understanding it was only till they defeated the Shinjin, an opponent neither of them wanted to tackle alone.
Turning away he placed his hands behind his back as he thought, the titan pacing back in forth in slow steps as he listened to Kamae, his mind racing as he took it all in. His origins, his desire for a true partnership with the Titans and most importantly allies you could trust explicitly. There was potential there, in such an endeavor, a true partnership that would last even after their enemies were gone. And if the Shin could be usurped then more would try sooner or later to usurp them as well if they won their fight. It also, simply felt right to work with Kamae, the mad demon's talents making up for what Halos lacked.
"A creature of the void? I assume you mean between worlds, a place without gods?" He asked wanting to know more, his interest growing as he finally spoke. "These creatures of the void, just what are they like? Are they like you and wish to enter all the worlds? Or are they different?" he again asked, his lack of knowledge on the void making it hard for me to reach a decision. He knew of mortals, gods and even of demons. Each of their motivations varied but they had most of the time a very similar goal, to thrive and to fulfill their desires. These creatures form the void though, he had no idea.
As if reading his thoughts Kamae explains his goals, or rather his new goals, the new desires springing up with this new dimension. It made Halos pause as he gave it some thought, the titan reaching up to cover his eyes before looking at Kamae.
"Allies? Yes one would need them to rule everything, this dimension is far too large to rule over for any one god or even an eldritch god to rule. I could always have more children to run it all. We both could even raise up mortals to be our champions, our enforcers even." He thought aloud as he went over idea's that either one of them could use to rule everything when the final battle was over. However, there was a thought that kept invading his mind over and over, the reason his Sire had created so many children across the galaxy. No matter how he thought about it, or tried to deny it, the thought persisted.
The Sire had no allies, on one to rely on when he challenged the gods and their mortal champions. He had created many children for one reason, to make sure his blood would have the one thing he had lacked. Allies, partners they could trust to win the war and to rule after the war was over. "But, even then they would simply be subjects, some of them even looking for a chance to take our spots. There would be no trust there? Worship, fear and perhaps even love for their god. But there would be no true trust."
"And here I am, having a chance to have the one thing my father lacked." he muttered to himself, the giants pace changing as he turned back to Kamae. "Subjugation of this world, to take back our right to create this realm in our own image. But perhaps the image I want happens to have a certain Elderitch demon in it to prevent me from getting to lax?" he finally said with a smile, the Titan liking the idea of someone who he could trust.

The demon's smile was filled with amusement to be answering questions and imparting knowledge to another. The void was a dangerous place, capable of killing most entities who were not meant to be there. A creature born there would most likely not ever be preyed upon unless of the weaker strands... No different than most creatures when their intelligence was so low. Yet the demon could only feel pity for the creatures of the dark who did not have the luxury of stupidity to be their crutch.
"No... Unfortunately they are not... They are.... How do I begin to describe a creature of the void to you..."
Kamae was not meaning this as condescending or insulting, but to explain a creature that defied reason and the laws of physics was... difficult.
"The creatures of the void have no set shape, forms are unnecessary in the dark... We do not use our eyes or ears to perceive each other. We are senses blind, not able to see, feel or hear... yet we can think. We transcend thought in our true forms, a tree is the same as our flesh within the dark, the concept of what something is only defined by our existence. Our knowledge it exists. Should another perceive the tree, it might be as a car to them. Neither are wrong, but neither are right. You do not... hmmm it is a very difficult concept to understand without seeing."
Kamae sighed before chuckling in defeat and shrugging.
"They are perfect beings, no flaws, no defects or personalities. They want for nothing, need for nothing and desire for nothing to happen. They are the very embodiment of perfection... and they are pitiful. Creation is a cancer of the dark, mortals imperfect reflections of that which is perfect. That is why you all are far superior to them, but will never surpass them. Energy or power levels mean nothing to a creature of thought. Muscle is as easy to bend as air, and bones as easy to crush as paper with a mere thought. You must work hard to achieve victory, savor it. For they know not the rush of imperfection. Pity them, for they are not gods... they are below the lowest lifeform in existence... even bacteria have a purpose... while the eternal ones have none."
Kamae was disgusted by the void after living in it for eons. But it was his home now, his heart resided there and it would never leave him. Slowly the demon would would finally pull the strings tight he had been fiddling with this whole time. Giant pillars of stone would then rise up, stones that had been sliced from the bed rock the shell was situated on. They formed a makeshift stone wall between freedom and Halos. The only exit lead straight into the demon.
"Aye, I would work with you. We will split the rule of the universe, and decide our roles as we remodel the galaxy as we see fit. We will slay the shinjin, down to the last of their kin. None will stand and their champions will fall with them... But we must not judge the champions to harshly, who would not wish to defend their home from us?"
Kamae stated as as multiple holes formed in the air about him, black wounds that leaked primordial magic from them. The demon smiling while numerous spear like protrusions burst from them aimed at Halos.
"Now then... I think that is enough chit chat, I'm ready to play now."
With that the spear tips would throw themselves at the titan to reveal black chains tied to them. The chains attempting to impale themselves into Halos' flesh and wrap themselves around his arms, legs torso and neck. Then even more chains formed, the demon throwing wave after wave of chains at his opponent in an effort to pepper him with long range attacks.
"I am a mage Halos... You will find I am capable of attacking you in ways you'd never dream about. Let us see how you fight someone unpredictable Halos! Think fast now! Don't die on me! Hehehahahahaha!"
Kamae couldn't help but begin laughing, cackling like a mad man while he watched his chains do their work. The mad demon not moving but simple laughing madly and confidently.

Stamina:88770-3895-4438=80437 as the new total
The first basic attack takes Halos by surprise for 3895 damage
The second basic attack is blocked by using [DT1]Body of Iron with his action losing 3895 ki
The third basic attack is dodged by using [DT1]Cloud shift for 3895 stamina by using his action.
Halos lunches a melee attack and a ki attack for a total of 8878 using up 4438 of both ki and stamina
It all sounded strange to him, perfect beings without purpose, a contradiction if he had ever heard of one. Everything had a purpose, mortals, gods, tools and even the natural laws of the universe. To be without purpose.... sounded like a fate worse than death, empty and void of anything of value. It was rare for Halos to pity someone, but the Titan could not help feeling a pang of pity at the creatures Kamae described.
It also made him wonder about Kamae himself, an eldritch being form the void itself. A creature that unlike his brothers had rational thought, a purpose that none of his brethren shared even if Halos was not entirely sure on just what it was. If intelligence and purpose was given to the rest of his brethren, would they end up like Kamae? It honestly only gave him more questions than answers, a fact of life he was starting to get use to the more he interacted with Kamae. Questions he knew were leading to a dangerous path, a path he would be foolish to pursue when he had bigger threats to deal with.
So, caught up in his thoughts he failed to notice Kamae's trap, one that should have concerned him the second he first saw Kamae's chains idling about. The first bolt struck the titan unaware as his flesh was pierced his shoulder brutally, the bolt striking his bone as the Titan roared in surprise, his eyes going wide as he saw the other spears just inches away, each of them just as deadly as the first.
It was at that moment Halos's instincts kicked in as the titan's skin shifted slightly, his magics hardening them as they prevented the next volley form impaling his flesh a second time, the barbs clanging as if they hit solid steel. His hardened flesh shattering the spear that had already worked its way deep into his shoulder, the broken twisted metal still grasping the chain despite its broken form as they swung around to capture him.
For a moment the Titan's fate was sealed, walled in, hooked on a spear with eldritch chains appearing to contain the Titan only for the chain to go slack as Halos exploded into mist as he dodged the incoming chain and additional barrages.
Surging forward the mist advanced on Kamae with blinding speed as the Titan reformed just a few meters away from the chaotic demon as he still surged forward, his two fists coming down where Kamae's head was as the destructive blow sent shockwaves through the earth regardless of if the attack hit him or not. Not letting him rest the Titan leapt into the air, soaring up wards and he threw a fast javelin like bolt of thunder at the first sign of movement he saw.
"It would seem even one such as I can bleed form the chaos you sow Kamae, I think this unpredictability suits you well."
He remarked, a slight growl of pain escaping form is lips as he did so. He honestly felt rage that he had been injured at all, however Halos above all enjoyed a master at work more than anything. Even when the mastery was none other than chaos itself and Halos harbored no doubts of Kamae's mastery over chaos itself, even if it was being used against him.
"Come Kamae, my experience in battle is limited to those much weaker than me. Such experience is useless in the things to come!" he cried loudly, a small smile appearing on his face at the rush of a challenge appearing before him. "Why don't you show me your mastery of chaos, show me why you deserve to rule half of this universe with me!" he roared as prepared for the next onslaught form the eldritch god in front of him, an eldritch god of chaos!

Kamae was surprised to see the titan's skin seem to harden, defending against normal attacks. The demon's smile grew then, as he was also learning from Halos. That was the horrifying thing about the demon, every second of information he gained was what made him terrifying. Standing upright, the demon watched as Halos rushed him. Though Kamae did not move at first, the titans fists would come into contact with only the ground. Kamae seeming to blink out of existence a moment only to reappear somewhere else.
The demon had his hands behind his back, smiling happily as Halos flew into the air, lightning forming in his palm only to hurl it in his direction. The demon again blinking from existence right as the javelin almost made contact. Kamae looking up at his foe while smiling, but he was clearly aware how powerful Halos was. He would need to be extremely careful in this battle. He knew Halos could slip out of his offensives but he doubted it was so simply as that. Kamae would rub his chin in thought, watching Halos with a keen eye.
Pulling his hand up, the demon gestured with his fingers in an upwards motion. Spikes emerging from the ground where Halos might land, the demon took a moment see how his opponent would react. Could he fly? The next Question kamae had was... Pulling up his foot, the demon then stomped the ground hard enough that the earth itself shattered. The smoke cloud covering his position, effectively hiding Kamae from Halos view, but also the titan from the demons view.
Fortunately for Kamae, he wasn't ten feet tall and probably didn't weight as much. Slowly letting the wires from his hands slide into the ground, like tendrils seeking their victim, Kamae would use them to empty out some pockets beneath the earth, a simple trap but effective. He doubted the titan would suffer much damage from it but hopefully leave him open to attack. Next forming several javelins in the air above the cloud, Kamae would let it begin raining down in an effort to force Halos into one of the holes and maybe getting in a clever hit.
He couldn't fight Halos with raw power, he would need to be clever, cunning and try to slowly whittle him down.
