You happen to run into a monster! Whether you were hunting it, it was hunting you, or you both just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time doesn't matter. One of you isn't leaving this fight alive!

OKAY! IT WAS TIME! TIME FOR TERRA TO BE A HERO!
Terra had been waiting for a time like this, to REALLY help people! There was only so much she could do with her plant-based powers domestically. ...Not least due to the difficulty she was having in actually HELPING people domestically! Whenever the majin approached people, they would either look at her with distrustful eyes, move around her as if she were an ocean-mine ready to blow, or outright call her things she didn't understand... but didn't like the tone of! ...She didn't understand... People used to smile and wave at her days ago... What had changed...?
...This was part of the reason she was putting herself out there. She MUST'VE done something wrong! She MUST'VE! She didn't know exactly WHAT she did, but there was no other explanation as to why people didn't like her now! ...And so, the little pink Majin had set out... for the bounty-hunter's board! Being barely able to read, the little pink majin had to rely on (what remained of) the kindness of strangers to read the bounty for her and direct her where she needed to go! From what she understood, there was a rogue saiyan causing trouble out at the borders near North City, harassing the locals and demanding they bring out the USD... Whatever that was. OKAY! Maybe if she could stop this guy, it'd go a LONG WAY towards making things better!
"YEAH!" Terra exclaimed, her fists SHOOTING over her head! "I GO SAVE PEOPLE NOW!" ...And with one big LEAP, Terra BOUNDED out of town and to the North!
...When she got there... Terra's heart skipped a beat. She didn't know what this village looked like before now... but it HAD to have been better than what she was seeing right now! Craters dug into what was surely once a rolling hillside, buildings caved in from the top with smoke billing out in sickeningly black clouds. Stables were smashed and the grass was burning in patches surrounding large impact craters. It was almost like one of those alien invasion movies she caught on TV late at night, where the big three-legged metal-bugs would stomp around, blasting people and tearing up the land! ...It shocked her how much different the real-life thing was... compared to what they could show as entertainment.
"...Wait... NO WAIT AROUND." Terra huffed, pumping herself up! "People need help! I HERE to help them!" The little pink majin would take off towards the town, glancing with way and that for survivors, her blood chilling in her veins as the destruction around her only seemed to grow worse. Why would someone DO this to people, Terra wondered. WHY would someone hurt people so-
"YOU!" Terra FROZE, nearly toppling over herself from the momentum of her run! The Majin's eyes flicked up towards the sky from where the voice had come. A man in battle armor hovered several meters above the Majin, a hand extended to either stop her... or shoot at her. Terra couldn't tell just yet! "TELL ME. WHERE ARE THE USD AGENTS!?"
Terra's eyes widened. This guy's face... It was just like the one on the bounty! In other words... He... was who she was looking for... who she had to fight! Now, Terra had sparred with her mother many times before... but it had been more of play session than actual fighting! From the tone of this man's voice, she knew he meant business... and it was everything Terra could do to just keep her knees from knocking! Forcing breath into her lungs Terra would puff out her chest and point a trembling finger up at the man!
"Y-YOU! YOU BAD MAN! HURT PEOPLE BAD! I... I STOP YOU!" ...The Saiyan stared down at the girl, a perplexed expression on his face... before he dropped down to ground level right before the Majin! He towered head, shoulders and TORSO over the little pink girl, his lips curling upwards into an insidious smirk!
"Is that right?" He scoffed... before THROWING his foot out! The toe of his boot SLAMMED into Terra's chest so hard, it knocked the WIND out of the little girl and sending her FLYING back toward a house! Terra SLAMMED against the wall hard enough to make the building TREMBLE, her outline imprinted into the surface... before Terra fell to the ground... still.
"Well, that was disappointing." The Saiyan grunted, turning his back to the Majin. "Now... Where's that blasted agen- GAAAH!" The man REALED forward as an energy blast EXPLODED against his back, steam rising from his armor as small chunks cracked and fell off the main body! WHIRLING around, the Saiyan spotted Terra on her hands and knees breathing heavily, one hand extended towards the saiyan, her palm smoking from the blast she'd fired!
"No... Go... Anywhere..." She grunted, struggling to her feet! "...No hurt... more people..."
"Feh. You're tougher than you look! FINE! WHAT'S ONE MORE DEAD MAJIN!?" Terra blinked... One more...? There was another one...? Before she could ask him to clarify, the man LUNGED for her, a fist cocked back and aimed at her face! Terra recoiled in shock, her tentacle instinctively flipping down and toward the charging alien!
"T... TURN INTO CANDY!" Terra yelled, a blast of energy SHOOTING from her tentacle! The man blinked in surprise, swiping his hand in an arch to deflect it... Only, when his hand came in contact, the energy encompassed him in a flashing cloak of pink light!
"WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHGH!" He roared, his body contorting and twitching, slowly twisting downwards into a ball! Terra watched in both shock... and awe as, in a cloud of smoke... the man was turned into a small ball of candy! Terra stared at the sweet sphere... She had never ONCE fired that beam at a person before! She... She... didn't know what to feel about that... ...But the guy at the bounty-hunting station DID say he needed proof the man was... beaten and so, Terra scooped up the ball of candy... and made her way back to the city, cradling her aching tummy all the while!
