Tanya was feeling incredible to say the least, she had just recovered from what could basically be described as one hell of a fight with a demon child, thing she still couldn't belive what she had just gone to battle with, it was one hell of a fight that was for sure, but, she didn't mind at all because it gained her one hell of a fight, but right now she needed to get back into training as she yawned flying through the air with a grin, she needed to find somewhere to practice. She wasn't anywhere near where she needed to be.
Across the ocean, Tanya looked down and spotted a strange house in the middle of the ocean as she slowly came to a stop on the sand and looked around, well no one seemed to be here so this should allow her to focus on her training on all ends. This was great, this place looked great and she could focus on all her training here as she smiled to herself deciding to take the moment to start taking her non weighted clothing off as she was slowly slipping on the weighted gear from her last opponent not hearing a "HEH! HEH! HEH!" like laugh.
Right as she was about to put on the weighed shirt she heard a loud HEH as she quickly turned around throwing a Ki blast as an old man stumbled backwards as she glared at him obviously, this old man had been watching her undress, the only one who should be able to do that would be a future lover not so old pervert as she growled her tail twitching a little bit in anger causing the old man to get up and backed up a little bit at what he had saw almost like he had seen a ghost.
"Y-Y-You're a Saiyan?!" He asked as Tanya blinked, this man knew about Saiyans? Who was he, she had met someone she had just done battle with that demon child but, she didn't know if anyone else knew about Saiyans? This man looking over him had been around quite a lot and seen more then a normal Human should. She lowered her hand from the Ki blast she had launched obviously it was scaring the hell out of him but, you couldn't blame her, he had been watching her undress as she finished putting on her weighed clothing before speaking to him.
"You better start explaining yourself as why you were watching me...undress I missed last time I wont again." She stated as the man coughed a little bit, he obviously meant no harm so she wouldn't really kill him but, that didn't mean she liked the fact that some perverted old man watching her like that, she was here to train not fool around and even if she was, it wouldn't be with him. After a few moments the man took his Cane and smiled before speaking to her, it was almost like he was looking at something that she didn't understand.
"I am sorry, young Lady, I haven't had anyone on this Island in sometime, and when it was a woman, old habits die hard as they say. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Master Roshi. I am often known as the Turtle Hermit. I must say young lady, what brings you to my Island, not that I mind, living her alone for as long as I have now, its nice to have some company." He explained as Tanya turned towards the ocean and adjusted herself as the old man blinked as she looked out to the sky and began.
"The names Tanya." She explained as she floated up and began punching and kicking the air as if sparing with someone Roshi watching on as she continued. "I'm a Saiyan who came to earth looking to get stronger, I'm looking to take back my planet. For too long have they been focused on showing off their strength through destruction. I only want to use my power to protect. I will use it to take back my planet by force if needed but, I don't want to have to go that route." She stated and continued Roshi nodding.
"So you wish to use your power to protect, I see, you have a good heart young lady, coming from a Saiyan its refreshing." He said muttering something about not seeing that since Goku but shook his head figuring she had never heard of anyone like that after all his greatest student hadn't been in this world in quite sometime but, he had to move on, he was an old man with a long life span. It was something he chose and he now had to live with it. However, seeing Tanya and how she wanted to fight, he felt it was something he could pass on his teachings to.
"Tanya come down here for a moment." He stated as Tanya blinked slowly lowering herself and blinked placing her feet onto the ground as he motioned her on. Tanya wasn't sure what he was getting at but, she knew that it couldn't be all that but, out of the corner of her eye she spotted what he had been watching a woman fitness program and whistled as Roshi laughed. "A woman of good tastes I see." Roshi said as Tanya rubbed the back of her neck blushing as Roshi laughed before speaking, wanting to pass on the way of the turtle school to this woman.
"There is something I once said to an old student of mine who is no longer with me, yes a master out lasting his student who would ever thought. But, What I told them is this, They were the ones that told me that this old fossil he still had something left to give. That it was too soon to let the limits of age sentence him to sit idly by on the sidelines. They were never content to stop, who kept aiming for and climbing greater and greater heights. With that being said I want to ask you something Tanya are you the same way?" Roshi asked.
"I do, how can I protect my eventual wife, my family, my friends, this planet I now call home, how can I protect them if I don't keep climbing higher and higher? I need to get stronger Roshi, If I am to protect this planet from any possible threats, I need to get as strong as I can. Even if a damn god itself comes to threaten this planet, I wont let them harm those I care about!" Tanya said as Roshi nodded with a small smile before he turned to the ocean once again, he knew he wasn't going to regret this.
"Then I want you to engrain these words into your mind, Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way. We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war!" He stated before he dropped his shell causing Tanya to blink as he turned around to face her, he knew now he had found a student worthy of his teachings. He would pass on all he knew to her. Tanya readied herself for a fight just in case but, Roshi just held up a hand before speaking once Tanya left fighting stance.
"There is a reason I tell you this, I have trained Sayians before and do you know what has happened? Their efforts, their accomplishments, have become that of Legends and Tanya? Just from the brief moment talking to you, I feel you can do much the same. Even Saiyans don't live forever and I can teach you everything I taught another there for, once your life is over, you will become a legend, hopefully, I'm still alive to see that day." Roshi said with a laugh as Tanya chuckled a little bit at Roshi, maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
"With that being said, Tanya, let us begin I am going to start by passing onto you a move that a student of mine made famous. The Kamehameha but, first lets get you some gear more suiting of a Turtle School student." Roshi said with a small smile as Tanya nodded walking into the house behind Roshi as the door closed, her training to become stronger, her goal, was now within reach as she had a master to teacher even more then she could ever of hopped while she was training on her own. The goal of becoming the strongest, continued.
