“Help… Someone please… Help...” Within the shade of Korins Forest, a voice cried out. Under the mighty trees that make up the dangerous area that exists right outside west city, a lone woman, average in looks but oddly pale, limped. Her voice is weak, but the urgency of it is palpable. With each step, she left behind fresh droplets of blood, a nasty gash on her right arm leaking her life onto the dewed shrubbery she trampled upon. It is unclear what has happened to her, but this is but one of many incidents that occur within the lands outside the safety of civilization. As the world darkens around her, her vision falters, the edge of the forest would become apparent; a flood of light slipping between the density of forestland and tilled ground. She is so close to civilization, but her next step leaves her face-first on the floor. She did not fall of her own volition. The air around her feels hot as it vibrates because of the heat of something breathing down her neck. She does not need to look to know what is behind her. It was what left her like this in the first place. All she can do is close her eyes and pray before she soon felt nothing, her life extinguished. and there stood Arlo pulling down his mask he would kneel down and look at the woman for a second with a cold stare he never felt a thing for killing someone and he didn't think he ever would. He would lift up from the ground and start moving again he was picking up more jobs lately with the rise in employees and the numerous new members the cleaners was starting to feel like a real company he would move quickly before reaching the city he had a spot were he had some of his cleaners wait so he could clean up and change from his assassin closes once he got there he would change into his Gi and walk back out into the city environment. He actually had a couple things to do in the city today he would hop inside of a Suv and start the engine a couple of kids about 10 to 13 would hop in with him and with a vroom Arlo would be off through the streets he would drive for a moment before stopping at a grocery store, he had to pick up some more pre workout powder he was starting to run out and then he still needed to go and find that armor dealer who said they could sell him some old saiyan armor for combat that was the plan for today shopping and Arlo would enter the store and grab a handheld basket followed by three kids the group would look normal despite Arlo's Gi they would move through the store buying a couple things not just workout powder. There was nothing that really happened inside the shop as Arlo walked in, as he could buy his workout mix without any issues as he went about his business as usual without running into anything...
Except when he walked out with said kids, and saw as someone... unusual, was walking about the city. Unusual as in the woman looked like someone from ancient times, wearing an armor that Arlo hadn't even seen before... and was that a demonic katana at her side? Whoever she was, she looked threatening... but her power... her power was incredibly lacking for someone like her... Just who was she? And what was she doing in a city like this?
The icy blue haired wolf girl, complete with the ears and tail, was completely confused by all the people trying to move away from her... did she give off a bad aura? She didn't think so. Why would she? She had no intentions to harm these people whatsoever. So why were they running away from her, or just trying to get away from her?
Her wandering and wondering put her in the middle of the road, as her gaze was away before she suddenly heard the screech of tires and a horn, as she jumped to the side quickly to avoid any damage to the vehicle or person, or herself.
"S-sorry!" She apologized to the man, only for Arlo to hear him cuss her out as the woman seemed to be a little downtrodden by that and slowly walk on, quickly getting to a side of the road to continue her wandering about... she really didn't have a clue how a city worked. Arlo could only wonder if she had never been here before. It was the most logical explanation, given her clothing and other things.
The woman stumbled about only for a little bit more before she got dizzy and leaned against a local store building, holding her head and trying to get her bearings about herself. Yeah, she definitely needed help navigating a city, and after the car incident people at least seemed to not be AS prone to move away from her. The answer was likely in the demonic ki he felt emanating from her, as weak as it was, it was there. And that was likely what was setting people in the idea she might have been a bad person.

Arlo would exit the store and stop as he noticed a strange sight a women with ears and what not was not something he did not see there were quite a few beast folk who lived normal lifes but her armor was odd Arlo would take a moment to watch her and her movement she seemed drunk and if he was a better person he would offer to help her home or something instead he would just continue watching as she swerved out of the way of a car and the man driving getting angry cursed her out Arlo would chuckle and pull a apple from his bag before walking in the direction of the woman his curiosity getting the better of him.
He didn't get to close to the women but as he walked up he would look her armor over in detail along with her weapon if she was not so drunk he would maybe be able to ask her if she knew how to use such a weapon with Arlo's current katana training coming along it would be nice to have a sword spar with someone who knew about swords like that monk he had met.
"hey lady, what the hell is wrong with you...maybe you should drink at home, shame on the bartender for not cutting you off its a crime in some citys i hope you know, but being drunk in public with armor and a sword it will surely get you in the drunk tank you want a apple and some water?"
Arlo would hold out the apple and then go through his bag for a water bottle before reaching his hand out to give it too the women.

The woman, after getting her bearings after a bit, was suddenly approached by Arlo. She had to admit, he wasn't bad looking and he seemed to have... semi-good intentions but... then he comes off with the idea that Dezna was drunk! Drunk, her!? What an absolutely insulting thing to say! She wasn't drunk! Far from it! She hadn't even has alcohol in the past... well however long it was. Normally she would agree to such gifts of good will from someone but his comments about her drunkenness, frankly, ticked the wolf woman off. And so, instead of taking her hand and accepting his gifts... she reeled back...
And slapped Arlo HARD across the face! The resounding SMACK being heard by all the nearby crowd as they had various reactions, but the general consensus now was? She wasn't that bad, perhaps she hadn't ever been to a city before and that's why people felt off about her. One thing was for sure, she was a woman that didn't take shit from anyone! And that was a-okay!
"I'm sorry, but I am APPALLED to think you would DARE to say that I'm drinking." Dezna spoke with a growl to her tone at Arlo. "I am Dezna, by the way, and I'm sorry that you saw me my first time in this city. I've never been here before, so it was just slightly overwhelming for me and I got dizzy. That doesn't mean I'm drunk... you must be a Saiyan, with that jumping to conclusion attitude of yours... tch... Saiyans. Yangcong and Zaks have been the most politest of Saiyans I've ever met!" Dezna exclaimed with a harsh tone to her voice and a foul expression. What went from an overwhelming walk around the city was now an anger and appalled argument with a guy who just ASSUMED she was drunk!

Everything was going well until the women reached up for a second Arlo thought she was going to reach for the apple and water but instead she choose to slap him and with the things in his hand Arlo no had no chance to move out of the way comically he would spin around and drop all the things in his hand before landing on the ground flat on his back and chuckling to himself as the women spoke seems she was not drunk just not used to her surroundings the kids with Arlo would pick up his groceries and place them back in the bag as Arlo stood up dusting himself off a bit and looking at the lady.
"Name is Arlo, Arlo Sasori and it's nice to meet you i guess Denza and um saiyan hell no i ain't no saiyan do i look like one? And you said Yangcong that man is a coward i would not waste time around him he won't be alive much longer...this Zak's person i assume another saiyan coward birds of a feather flock together."
Arlo would think for a moment the last time he had seen Yang cong the man had turned tail in the middle of a job without so much as a explanation as to why leaving Arlo alone to fight and lose the thought would make him clench his fist slightly. Despite the woman being mad Arlo had no reason to be it was a simple misunderstanding but from the woman's facial expression she either had a problem with being called drunk or a short temper Arlo would bet on the short temper.
"Calm down Denza i didn't mean to offend you, i really thought you were drunk and my curiosity made me see why a woman in full armor would be roaming around the city drunk."

Dezna was angry, sure, but the moment Arlo's tone changed and became friendlier, Dezna immediately calmed down. What had happened was just a simple miscommunication, and now that things were clearing up, Dezna could take a deep breath as her anger left her and she returned to a more neutral tone.
"Sorry for slapping you and making you drop your things, it was just slightly insulting to me and I apologize." Dezna apologized to Arlo for her doing things out of line just now. She heard him introduce himself and then talk about how Saiyans were cowards. That was interesting, Yangcong and Zaks didn't seem like cowards when Dezna met them. Well, to each their own in their own perspectives, one could suppose. Dezna heard Arlo apologize as she shook her head.
"No, no, don't apologize. I acted out of line, I should have approached it better. I just... don't like being called a drunk. I've never had an alcoholic drink in my life as far as I know." Dezna stated. "In any case, do you know any spot I can go to this city to clear my head a little bit? The city streets here are buzzing with so much activity I can't get my thoughts straight..." Dezna asked, as she had really ventured here to see if there were any warriors she might train with, though all she had been met with so far was civilians and cars almost running her over. She just hoped Arlo knew of a spot she could clear her head and, at the least, get some self-training done.

a place to clear her head Arlo would think for a moment she was new to the city so it made sense that she did not know where anything was but he also would think on the fact that she had never had a real drink in her life and the thought hit him he would look her up and down once and then twice and then three times before pulling the kids to the side and whispering something to them they would then run off and Arlo would walk back over to the woman and give a small smile.
"I think i can find a spot, if you trust me enough to come with me that is i have a car we can go in?" Arlo would say it holding his hand out for Dezna he had told the kids that he planned on taking this girl on a date and to get some things together from the city and set up the area of course he would have to stall a little bit but that would be easy he could do that numerous ways but the best would be to go back into the store.
If Dezna took his hand he would start walking back into the store and before walking in he would look at her, "I forgot to get something sorry i'll grab it and then we can leave"
Arlo would enter the store and look around for nothing for a little bit before grabbing a little bit of fresh fruit some apples, oranges, kiwi's, mangos and such he would have a nice size bag as the two exited the store and walked up to Arlo's Suv with the bag in one hand he would move to the passenger side and hold the door open for Dezna once she got in he would close it and move to the drivers side throwing the bag in the back and starting the engine before pulling out his mp3 and filtering through the songs and sticking the auxiliary cord in and pushing play on the music.
"hope your fun"
Arlo would start pulling out of the parking lot while singing the song and looking over at Dezna in the middle of the lyrics he would continue nodding his head as the car pulled out on too the road and instead of going straight to where he had planned Arlo would ride through the nicest parts of the city allowing Dezna see that there was more to the city and it actually held some beauty.

Dezna was unsure whether or not to trust the man as he held out his hand to her. She was slightly confused as well when the kids ran off suddenly, and it was just her and Arlo. While it definitely seemed suspicious... Dezna could tell he was wanting to help her out, and that he was a rather nice guy. Looking at him, he wasn't too bad looking either. And so...
She took his hand, ready for whatever he had in store for her.
They first went back into the store, where Arlo picked up some fruits, of many various kinds. Dezna wondered just what he was planning by this sudden action as she was soon taken out of the store. He would politely open the door of his "car" as he called it for Dezna to get in. She was completely lost at this point on what his intentions were, completely and utterly lost...
But you know what, this was entertaining. Why not give it a whirl? Into the SUV she goes, sitting down nice and neatly as she wonders how this would help her train to become Earth's hero... regardless it was still all very nice.
Then Arlo suddenly pulled a device out, pushed some buttons, plugged it into the car and... was playing music? Okay, well, it's not like this wasn't weird as before. Dezna suddenly became lost in the nice tunes of the songs, and they really were nice indeed, before she noticed the places that Arlo was taking her to... and her eyes lit aglow at the amazing sights West City had to offer her. She had stumbled into the wrong part of the city this entire time! Arlo watched Dezna's eyes light up in an almost childish wonder at all the sights that she was now laying eyes on, as Dezna now had a more resolute determination. She would become Earth's guardian in time. If it meant Arlo was going to help her and maybe lead to some good times down the line... then perhaps, like the song suggested, Dezna should give him a chance.
And a chance she would give, staying silent but smiling at Arlo as they continued on their way to this location Arlo hadn't even revealed yet.

The sights were wonderful and even Arlo could not help but enjoy them and for the most part it looked like Dezna was having a good time, Arlo would reach into the backseat while driving and grab a water taking a swig and turning into the parking lot of one the largest buildings in the city once they pulled in Arlo would drive to a spot that stood out cause of the four kids standing there smoking no one paid them any mind and as Arlo's SUV pulled in the boys put there smokes out and tried to straighten there clothes. Once the car came to a stop Arlo would hop out and go to Dezna side and open the door holding it open until she came out then sticking his hands in his pockets before walking toward the kids they would hand Arlo a folded piece of paper and the boys would chuckle a little as Arlo passed heading toward a elevator Arlo would shoot one of them a look and then playfully punch him in the shoulder before pressing the elevator button. The elevator would open and he would enter hopefully followed by Dezna and the two would shoot to the top as far as the elevator would go before stopping and the doors sliding open they were not done walking yet however Arlo would lead her to the stairs and then to the roof of the building from here one could see the entire city and even some of the surrounding locations Korin's forest would be in view along with the desert and if one had really good vision they could probably see Ginger town. The air up here would be hot the western side of the planet was always dry so there would be fans already in place which were blowing a light sprinkle into the air to allow some measure of coolness. Arlo would allow the women to take everything in that he had planned in such a short time on the north edge of the roof would be a line of arcade machines of varying games all free and next to that would be a more games some racing some shooting the sames things one would see in a arcade. And if one listened they could hear the police moving to check out the arcade room that had been broken into but that was not Arlo's problem if the cleaners did there job right. there would be a couch up there as well and numerous drinks on a table varying from fruit punch to champagne and sangria. A boy would walk up and hand Arlo his fathers katana and Arlo would quickly take ryujin jakka into his hand before looking at Dezna. "I clear my head like this, and this spot is my favorite spot in the city to relax if you ask me, have you ever played pacman? i love any arcade game really. But let me make you a drink seeing as you can't remember having one i'll make you one to remember. "
Arlo would walk over to the table and place all the fruit on to the table wrapping a cooks robe over his clothes and pulling out his katana in a flashy motion spinning the blade in the palm of his hand before the kid on the roof with them would start throwing the fruit he had brought earlier and Arlo would do his best to cut the fruit into tiny pieces before it fell on to the table he had spent a lot of time working on his swordsmanship lately and it would be evident in the ease he would be doing this task, once he was finished he would sheathe his blade and begin adding the fruit to a pitcher before garnishing it with a lemon on the rim and pouring a sweet red wine into the pitcher lastly he would place a senzu bean leaf on the top. He would pour Dezna a glass and then one for himself before walking it over to her with a small smile. "i hope you like it my father used to make this all the time for my mother and she never complained."Arlo would take a sip from his drink and then turn to look at the view he always enjoyed looking out at the desert the one place he had not been to on the planet yet he never could find a reason to go roaming through the desert in search of adventure and as he peered out he could not help but wonder what could be out there. |

Dezna was slightly confused as they would stop at a building. A very tall building at that. Arlo opened the car door for her as she noticed the kids were back and seeming to be helping him out... just what was he planning exactly? Dezna curiously followed him into the building, and furthermore, into the elevator as she rode up with Arlo, all the way up to the top, as Dezna was trying to figure out what Arlo's end goal was....
Dezna would follow Arlo up some stairs after they left the elevator, as the two of them suddenly walked on the roof of the building, and Dezna's eyes lit up. It was another giant view of the world, just as she had witnessed when escaping from Hell. A nice view as far as the scenery went, only instead of destruction and peril, she saw prosperity and lights aglow. There was even cooling fans that helped take care of the dry hot air, as Dezna saw everything Arlo had up there for luxury purposes.
Arlo explained this was the place he went to clear his head and relax. To be fully honest, it wasn't a bad spot... but this... didn't feel right to Dezna, as she looked about. Like... she didn't belong here. Not that it wasn't helping her get used to the technologies of the world but... it... it just didn't feel right. That was, until he was given a katana. That made things more familiar as Dezna looked at the sword with eyes of intrigue, and suddenly watched as Arlo prepared for her a special mix drink, as she had to admit, it looked divine to the eye as he poured a glass for himself and her, as she took the glass in a sign of good manners and took a sip.
It was... absolutely delicious! Like any other drink Dezna had drank before. It was a very unique flavor, but it was a soothing one as well, as it graced her tongue with a feeling that maybe this wasn't as bad as she thought.
"I must say... this is a relaxing place." Dezna remarked. "I might not be familiar with arcade games as you call them but... I do appreciate you helping me get used to this city, Arlo." Dezna remarked with a genuine smile. "But... I have to ask... are you trying to take me on a date?" Dezna asked. "If so, I apologize, but I must decline... I'm not sure I want to get romantically involved with anyone. However... I will be more than happy to call you a friend, for the hospitality you have shown me today, Arlo." Dezna said with a smile. "Perhaps you can show me how this world works. How much my already fleeting memory has forgotten of the technology of this world... that will be most fundamental for my training." Dezna remarked, knowing she needed to get used to the world she lived in, if she had any hopes of saving it.

Arlo would take a moment to sip his drink and listen to the women but on the inside he felt something pulling at him he had thought maybe this women was a beastfolk and that was not to odd but for some reason he could feel his other half looking deeply at her as if looking through her the only time he had felt this was the moments he was around other demons despite listening to her he would look at her with a new found look one of curiosity but he would quickly be taken aback by the girl mentioning a date Arlo had never actually thought of getting with someone romantically but he all ways knew he wanted to have a family eventually and that meant marrying in his eyes.
Of course he liked the girl and showing her this he had hoped in some small way she would start to like him and it had seemed to work.
"I am only 15 years old you know, i look like i am in my early twenty's i get that a lot and the sort of life i live drinking and smoking i can see why people would think i am older but no i am only fifteen and yea i kinda think we already are on a date but you can call it what you want. I am a simple person and i what i want i go after it without fail. I wanted to learn how to punch so i spent years perfecting a single arm movement."
Arlo would show case this by getting into his stance quickly and punching at the air his muscles would expand as if holding back all of his true power and the veins would ripple pressing against the skin he would punch not once but three times at the air causing a snapping sound from the sheer speed of the strike. He could remember meeting john after his father had died and spending days doing nothing but punching the air he would do it until he passed out to wake up to John feeding him broth the only thing he could get him to eat while sleep without John the boy would have surely died.
"I don't know much but i can tell you this Dezna....five years.....five years from now i will be twenty years old and a adult, you will be seeing me a lot in the time before than and once that time comes we should meet here on this very day at this very time and then i can ask you for that date. Until then how about i show you as a friend how these games work they can help with strategy trust me, we can play street fighter"
Arlo would sip his drink and walk over toward the arcade machine pushing the button to get it started it the machine would light up with numerous characters to choose from but Arlo would quickly move toward a character named Akuma before looking at Dezna.
"Demons are always stronger right? i am part demon myself thats why i always choose Akuma"
