Planet Ozen was considered to be one of the most beautifulest planets one could ever lay their eyes on. A planet that had blue grass, purple skies, three moons, and a large size castle that all those who stare at it, remembers the past that it brought to everyone..... And this was a story where Yangcong had taken a dangerous assignment that no other elite would dare touch it and he was reminded why......
His energy had been wiped out clean. The heavy breathing of fatigue was closing in. As he laid from the high end cliff he had fell from, he started to see flashing lights before him. Before he could call it quits, he reached for his infamous platinum dagger that was by his side and placing the handle to rest on his chest and his dagger pointing downward towards his feet. This was how he wanted to be buried with his saiyan armor and his dagger with him. If his life was to end right now, he wanted to die proudly.... A shadow had covered the sunshine that was beaming across his body and face. A woman by the looks of it and before he could utter a word, he had collapsed into unconsciousness. He had awakened, what seemed like a mere minute, was in reality thirty minutes. He had awakened, covered in bandages with a blue rag over his forehead and tattered clothes that a mere peasant would wear. He had sat upright from his straw hay bed that he was resting on and looked around. The maiden who was sitting on a wooden chair just across from him, got up with joy.
"Thank the Goddess you are okay."
"Where am I? and who are you?"
"You are in the Blue Cross Nile Ridge. I am Ezabel and I am the one that healed you of your wounds."
"I see and where is my saiyan armor and dagger?"
"It's in the next room. I had cleaned it for you. What were you doing out here in this region?"
"I was assigned by the saiyan empire to come here and investigate the mysterious disappearance of your people..."
She looked down in sorrow.
"I'm afraid your journey was only wasted. The PTO had came here and wiped out this planet and its people. Our kingdom has been taken over by the PTO."
The shock factor was clearly present in Yangcong's face, the silence was more than enough to express how shocked he was.
"Then I must call in reinforcements to come help!"
She shook her head and rose to her feet.
"The PTO have been firing their cannons at any approaching ships. Yours was caught in the explosion and then I found you..."
"How do you know all this..."
"I witness what had happened to you and your ship. I was out trying to gather some more food. I am trying to look for my father right now..."
"I can help you get to your father. Where is he?"
"He is within the Kingdom walls, we are going to have to get in there."
He looked up at her and stood to his feet.
"You saved my life, it's the least I can do."
"My father is trapped within the Kingdom. My father is Agal, he was an elite soldier."
He nodded and then looking outside of the window.
"I will help you get to your father."
She nodded.
"If we can get him out of there, I'm sure he would be able to help you get out of here. He also has a ship as well."
A long but narrow river stood at the middle between Blue Cross section and the surrounding borders to the Kingdom. Now on a row boat and sitting on one side of the boat while the maiden sat on the other side. Yangcong continued to row the boat with a paddle in each hand as he looked around his surroundings.
"Are you sure it's safer to travel through the river?"
"The patrols of the PTO soldiers are roaming through the forrest. The only safe way through is by the river."
"So did you catch who the leader may be for this invasion?"
"Yes, an arcosian general, I don't know his name. But he is a fat bastard that doesn't leave his hover pod. I was living in this area while my father lived in the kingdom walls."
"How come your father had you living here and not in the Kingdom?"
"He had a feeling that an invasion would happen any day now from the PTO. So he decided that it was best for me to stay here instead."
"I see..."
"So you came here to help free my people?"
"Yea the assignment was so dangerous that they told me that only one person could go. Having more would definitely lead to a full scale war that we don't want to happen. With only having one person sent here, they will drop their guard."
About that time a dagger flew straight in between the both of them with an attached explosive on it. The paper tag lighting on fire and Yangcong jumped over to the other side and hugged the maiden, while the both of them falling off the boat and into the strong current river. The explosion had been successful but the wound wasn't enough to keep Yangcong from stopping. Flying out of the river and onto land with the maiden. He had set her down and had looked up to where the dagger had originally came from, the trees.
They had hopped down from the high trees and the both of them pulling out their weapon of choice. One with an axe and the other with a short sword. Yangcong got in front of the maiden and covered her completely with his body presence obscuring their view of her.
"Stay behind me... They aren't as strong as I am..."
The PTO soldier rushing forward with no common tactic in mind when it came to fighting, just a rush on assault with his axe raised over his head. The now defensive stance that Yangcong took was more than enough to block the incoming haymaker attempt. Now he parried him back which caused an opening to occur. With his free hand, he dug his wrist straight into the PTO soldier's throat and underneath the wrist was his platinum dagger. The impact was more than enough to incapacitate him. The other PTO soldier had rushed as well and this time he was to Yangcong's left side. Swinging his sword, Yangcong had immediately raised his arm and blocked the incoming attack. Though the sword had almost sliced his armor, Yangcong had ducked low just enough to sweep the man of his feet. Ending it all with a dagger strike to his chest. Yangcong had looked behind him to see the maiden in relief. The both of them walking through the forest and being cautious more than ever with slow steps.
"Can I ask you something Yangcong? How strong are you?"
"I am an elite saiyan warrior and I also have a son named Yakone."
"That's a relief, an elite like you can probably taken down the general."
"I would hope so..."
"My father will be impressed about you."
As they ventured forward, a nearby entrance to a cave was visibly present.
"Let's go through there. If the cave system is like the one in my village. Then it should connect to the interior of the Kingdom.."
"I see, let's make our way there then."
As they walked through the tunnels and narrow corridors, sometime had passed.
"So tell me, what was this planet like before the invasion?"
She held her hands together like a prayer and stared at him.
"The Kingdom ruled over the entire planet. The knights on this planet all worked at the Kingdom. There are also other tribes out there that donate their time as well to aid the knights in healing or food."
"Are you aware of the other tribes?"
"Indeed, but we don't communicate as often as one would think. We all have our internal affairs to deal with most of the time."
"I see, so when the invasion had happened, they couldn't do anything to stop it..."
She shook her head no. Yangcong would then look to the left, where the pathway became wider by 6ft each section. To his right, the path had remained narrow and didn't look like it would change around the corner. He waited for a brief second and kneeled to the ground. After touching the rocky edge floor and examining it, he placed his hand to his chin as he rose to his feet.
"I would say we should take the narrow pathway."
He headed towards the direction to the right, the maiden followed right behind him.
"Your father, where would he be if he was being protected?"
"Most likely he would be at the temple."
He looked over his shoulder and then ahead after replying back.
"The temple? Someone of importance wouldn't be brought to a temple..."
"The Kingdom is different from the tribes. Normally when an invasion happens, the enemies go straight to the castle. They never go to the temple of worship."
"Makes sense."
The once narrow pathway had become widen the moment they had turned a corner. Just ahead of them would be a PTO elite soldier who was leaning against the wall. The PTO soldier unwrapping his arms and pulling out his PTO issued sword.
"Hehe, I was told to stand watch in this cave, though I would have never thought that someone would actually try to enter through the cave network."
Yangcong bringing his arm out and lightly pushing the maiden back, like a light feather tap that was nonexistent.
"Stand back, this may get dangerous..."
Yangcong took a step forward, bringing out his dagger with his right hand and getting into a defensive stance. Meanwhile the elite, held his sword over his shoulder and lifting his head slightly upward and looking cocky.
"Why have you PTO soldiers invaded this kingdom?"
"Just following orders from the General."
"The General?! Why would he be the one to take over this city? Didn't they have a deal with them?"
"He isn't the ringleader. Not even I know who is commanding it all. But you will soon join the others who tried coming to this planet."
The Elite took a charge straight forward and Yangcong bringing his dagger straight upward and blocking the haymaker maneuver from the elite.
"Seems to me that you aren't no ordinary saiyan soldier, you have some fight in you huh."
They'd go back and forward, clashing blades against the other. Finally, it would show after sometime on who was getting more tired than the other. Yangcong had dropped to a kneel and panted heavy. The elite resting his blade on his shoulder and lifting up his face with a cocky look to him.
"I have to admit, you are indeed stronger than I anticipated, however this is the end for you."
Taking the sword off his own shoulder and raising it above his head. He then performed his downward slash attack in hopes of ending Yangcong's life. Yangcong bringing his dagger upwards in a means to defend against it but suddenly something had shot forward towards the elite. A massive fire ball swooping his entire body and engulfing him. Sending him away from Yangcong and Yangcong rising to his feet and looking over his shoulder. The maiden was the one that had fired the attack and the elite that got struck by the fire ball, was just a dead corpse now.
"I thought you were just a healer, it looks like I was wrong."
"I only know a few spells, but most of them take up a lot of my energy."
"It's only going to get worst from here on out, we should rest a bit."
She agreed with a nod and as they set up a resting station where they currently laid at, Yangcong was on watch duty. The maiden looked up at him as he was leaning against the wall with his arms across his chest.
"You probably need more sleep than I do..."
"I don't need sleep. I am use to traveling with my son Yakone on dangerous assignments. So I am use to this life as it is."
Sometime had passed, Yangcong was fully healed up and the Maiden had awoken up from her slumber. They headed out, climbing the stairs of the cave and opening up a trap door, which brought them to an alleyway of the city. As they climbed up out of the trapdoor, Yangcong looked around rather confused as to why there was fog everywhere.
"So I take it the rumors are true huh. This is the Forgotten City."
The forgotten city, got its named from the mere fact that the citizens and the officials of Kingdom had abandoned it when the storm hit. The fog had hit the entire city like an atomic bomb and cursed the region and its inhabitants within it. For those who made it out unharmed, was considered the lucky ones. The curse however had died out of its effect and all that remains is the fog that brought it there. Yangcong and the maiden had traversed through the city, looking at the empty stores and the corpses all around them.
"What the heck is this place?"
"Months ago before the PTO had invaded us. Another invader had came here and shot the city with a powerful bomb. Poisoning the residence of this part of the city..."
"Would your father be in this city?"
"We will have to check the temple, which is just behind the gate of this city."
"Alright, stay here for a second, i'm going to check where its at."
He flew to the sky, taking measures by going as slow as he could be. Upon getting high enough to spot the location, giant statue winged demons with spears had flown straight towards his direction from behind. Loud screeching more than enough to have anyone turn their direction. Now spotting two figures coming towards him, he was prepared to fight them in the skies. However two green fire ball shots were impaled on their heads almost instantly. Turning them back to the rocks that had formed them in the first place. As Yangcong landed on the ground next to the maiden, the man that had saved him had approach.
"Looks like we met again huh Yangcong?"
"Kroja... what are you doing over here?"
"I simply was traveling through this planet before it got attacked and well.. now I am trying to put a stop to the PTO soldiers that are here..."
"Well we are headed to the gates and trying to enter the city from there."
"Nice, I will come with you and support."
As they walked side by side, both Yangcong and Kroja were ahead of the Maiden, each of them looking at their sides for any enemies.
"So Yangcong, when did you arrive?"
"I arrived just after the invasion. I had orders to come here and try to put a stop to this."
"Don't worry we got this."
After traveling through the fog city and beating down the gargoyle statues along the way, they had finally made it to the gates of the Kingdom. However two PTO soldiers stood at watch and looked at the three of them arriving just a few feet from them.
The sword and shield PTO soldier had rushed forward towards Yangcong, Yangcong also joining him in rushing. Yangcong doing an overhead maneuver and clashing his dagger with the PTO soldier's shield. With the PTO soldiers' sword in hand, he swung it upward towards Yangcong's chin and cutting part of his face. The downed Yangcong touching his wound and grunting in pain for a second.
"You are going to pay for trying to cut up my face..."
The PTO soldier looked at Yangcong in mere awe.
The two continued their fight and the PTO soldier had the edge over Yangcong due to his annoying shield. However, Yangcong would do the unthinkable and fired a blue fire blast straight underneath the knight's shield and burning it up. The shield flying off his hand and Yangcong bringing his dagger in an upward vertical diagonal slash. The staggering soldier taking the full brunt of the attack. Now collapsing to his back, the soldier was gone from this existence. Yangcong had looked to his partner, who was just in time and with two straight green flaming ki blast to the soldiers chest and head, ending his life. The gates were now free and the doors to the Kingdom were now open. The three of them entering and heading straight to the temple, where the maiden's father was.
The doors to the temple had opened, twenty knights had immediately surrounded the three of them instantly and were ready to attack. However they took notice that the maiden was there.
"Whoa, we are good guys. We are looking for her father."
Agal had overheard and the knights had stepped to the side and Agal had rushed towards his daughter and his daughter doing the same as they embraced each other for a brief moment.
"I thought I would never see you again.."
"It was because of Yangcong that I was able to make it out of the forest."
Agal looked to Yangcong with a stern look and bowed before him.
"Thank you for rescuing my daughter."
"She had saved my life. So we are even. It's an honor to meet an elite soldier like yourself."
"Hehehe, I guess that's known throughout the Kingdom."
"So what now?"
Another knight had stepped in, speaking to Agal.
"Agal sir, I was wondering if you knew who was behind all this?"
Agal looked pissed and finally sighed to himself.
"The General arcosian had came here to this planet a week prior. I was stationed outside of the King's throne room. I heard everything... the general made a threat that if they don't surrender to the PTO, that trouble was going to happen..."
"I see so thats why this happened... They wanted to take over this planet.. We have to keep going and rescue this kingdom."
Yangcong and Kroja and the others started to advance forward. As they both were about to leave, the maiden grabbed a hold of Yangcong's shoulder.
"Please be careful."
"I will make it back, don't worry."
The two had left, Yangcong and Kroja headed straight for the castle, a powerful elite PTO guard was guarding the doors and with his giant bastard sword he slammed it straight in between the two of them in order to separate them. The blow against the ground had shook it for a brief moment, as dust and pieces of rock scattered all around.
"You two have made the biggest mistake coming here."
Yangcong had rushed straight from the left side of the guard, who raised his free hand over his head and tried striking down Yangcong. Who easily had evaded to the left and immediately slashing the guard's left arm with both his dagger. The impact was more than enough to cause the guard to scream in pain. Meanwhile Abel on the right side of the guard, had aimed his hands at the guard and fired his green fire ball attacks. Burning his face and neck, causing the guard to collapse on the ground and just missing the door to the entrance to the castle. Kroja had rushed over to the guard's face and with his hand, he attempted to slice his head off with his green covered flame hand. The guard wasn't going to allow it to happen and grabbed Kroja's arms on both sides. A strong yank from both sides, was more than enough to ripped his arms off his body. Yangcong was shocked at what just happened and the guard then grabbed Kroja's body and hurled him away. Yangcong was quick enough to grab Kroja's body and watched as the man was dying before him.
"I fucked up... I can see why the elite PTO were always feared... you are going to have to fix the kingdom Yangcong. I know you can do it.."
The light from his eyes had faded and Kroja was dead before his eyes. The Guard had rose to his feet and Yangcong had set down Kroja to the ground.
"Goodbye my friend.."
Yangcong had tossed his platnium dagger at the guard's hand who tried to grab him. The sharp pain was more than enough to cause the guard to stagger back. Yangcong being knee level to the guard and his entire right forearm forming a blue fire as it now was infused with the platinum dagger that he had in his hand. Cutting all the way up to the back of the neck of the guard with one straight slash. The guard had screamed in pain and had immediately collapsed to the ground. His entire body couldn't move due to the nerves being cut and the spine being damaged. Yangcong now stood in front of the guard's head who had looked at him.
"Have you ever faced an elite before..."
"Not as strong as you... no..."
His head was chopped off and Yangcong had entered the castle.
Yangcong was beyond pissed, if his ears could steam they would be. He walked with confidence and with so much angry that he didn't care who he had to face at this moment since he had taken down several PTO soldiers in his lifetime. Four PTO soldiers had stepped out from cover all at once, each held frag grenades in their hands and hurled it straight at Yangcong. Yangcong had immediately leaped into the air, kicking one of the grenades to the other and causing them to explode in mid air. While the other two grenades had landed behind him and exploded as the smoke had filled the air. Yangcong wouldn't wait and had immediately opened both of his palms and fired his blue fire blast straight at the four soldiers. The overwhelming and sheer amount as he released a violent scream from his mouth was more than enough to let them know that he was pissed. As the blast subsided, the soldiers were down on the ground and were killed from the assault.
Yangcong had continued his advancement, heading straight towards the double doors. As he opened the doors, the general had turned to face him. The general had looked to Yangcong and shrugged his shoulders as he lifted his arms in the air.
"So, you're the one that I have been hearing about. Causing all these problems for us."
"You are going to tell me why you decided to betray the Kingdom."
"Now what would be the fun in that? You really did come here alone. That's truly unfortunate for you."
He'd whistle, which resulted in PTO soldiers coming out from their hidden hiding spots. Resulting in about twenty of them now in the room in clear view.
"I unfortunately can't stay for all of this. I have other matters to attend to."
The fat arcosian oinked his way out of the lobby and straight into the throne room which was in the back. Meanwhile the soldiers had continued their advancement slowly, with one of them speaking.
"You really have to be an idiot to come here alone."
About that time, the windows to the interior of the castle had shattered. The doors that Yangcong had entered from, had knights rushing into the room. Right behind those knights were Agal and the Maiden. The soldiers had looked all around at the knights who had entered through the window, and then at the ones who entered through the doors. The amount was in equal footing at this point and they took their charge straight at the soldiers who were shocked for a moment. Agal stood beside Yangcong and folded his arms across his chest.
"Sorry i'm late, the reinforcements took a while to show up."
"Thank you for coming, but Kroja he's...."
"We saw his body when we had arrived. He fought well against the odds of a PTO elite. We have to put a stop to the General."
"Right, I won't let you down."
Yangcong charge straight towards the throne room and had kicked the door right open. The Arcosian had looked in shock that he had gotten passed the other soldiers but from behind Yangcong he could see the conflict unfolding. The Arcosian simply shook his head in disbelief.
"This is rather disappointing to say the least, however you won't be getting far."
"I'd like to see you try."
Yangcong rushed straight towards the arcosian who immediately fired an ice blast straight at his feet. Now having one leg frozen and stopping his tracks, Yangcong hurled his dagger straight at the arcosian, stabbing him straight in his stomach and causing him to kneel in the process. While hurling his blue fire sword that he had created from his ki energy and straight at the arcosian's wrist, causing him to misfire his ice blast.
"Hehe, you are all out of weapons."
Hail started to fall onto the General's body and before he knew it, his body was frozen in place. Coming up from behind Yangcong was the Maiden, who had easily freed his leg from the ice trap by turning it into water and then using her ice abilities on the arcosian.
"You saved my life again."
"You saved mine many times over."
All the arcosian could do now was talk and he simply chuckled.
"You have no idea who you are dealing with. The commander will come settle the score..."
Yangcong opening the palm of his hand and sending forth a blue fire ball to the general's face. Ending his life in seconds and essentially freeing the people of this kingdom. After they had been freed, Yangcong had buried his friend and soon after he was given another mission, Planet Tash.
Planet Tash was your typical planet that had nothing but assassins and thieves roaming around the planet. If one needed a person or group gone, one would go to this planet in order to do something about it.
The heavy rain washing against the barren wastelands of a ruin styled castle that was desperately missing the wide doors of their former paradise. No windows to speak of, just holes scattered on all levels, heck even the ceiling didn't exist at all. The Golden Cloaks were known throughout the Northern region of space and full of nothing but thieves and assassins. Anyone who knew them, knew to stay far away from them. Though as of recent events however, their gang was washed up like these barren wastelands. Being forgotten day in and day out by the looks of it. No one was hiring them due to their reputation being so bad, that the recent news of them backstabbing their employers and robbing them blind was only the frosting on top of the cake.
Despite the harsh conditions, the castle did provide somewhat shelter against the rain. The leader was currently sitting in the meeting room just looking through his crystal ball. Just sitting and watching in idle, about that time another member had arrived from another room. Wiping his eyelids with his white gloves as he released a somewhat wide yawn and had just woken up. The leader had looked up to spot Jackal, only to glue his eyes back to the crystal ball once again. Jackal was clearly hungry and as he walked over to the fridge that had nothing but cobwebs and dust all over it, he opened it to see nothing but his leftover sandwich from last night. The twenty foot sandwich was now that of a mere 3ft. He consumed it and closed the door behind him with his foot as he walked over to the boss.
"What's the mission for today Boss?"
The leader still kept his eyes on the crystal ball and simply chuckled.
"We have new orders that came from the incident from Planet Ozen. Apparently the PTO are desperate. They said that one saiyan was able to get rid of one of their top generals. I truly don't believe on the information myself... but this must be investigated..."
Jackal hated to admit it, but damn it.... it sucked living in this poor conditions. As he walked away from the leader and finished his sandwich, he placed his hands in his pants pocket and sighing to himself in disbelief. Another job they weren't given to steal. He truly hated assassination missions because he never knows if the target will be that much stronger than they were. The leader had now stared at Jackal and calmly folded his hands together.
"This isn't a problem is it Jackal?"
Jackal had stopped and looking over his shoulder.
"I will take care of it.."
The leader was a rather blunt individual who never shy away from being straight and to the point on serious matters.
"Listen, this organization is about stealing. However, due to recent events since you had caused it. We have no choice but to stick to the assassination missions."
Jackal had closed his eyes and tighten his fists, before turning around to look at the boss with an angry tone of voice.
"You don't just hire us Golden Cloaks and think that you can try to steal our cut from the job that you gave us. I don't know why you allowed us to work with them. The PTO are nothing but a group of idiots who conquerors planets and if I am being honest with you, I hate arcosians! They betrayed us before, why the hell would we ally with them again!"
The leader looked at Jackal, smoking his lit cigar calmly.
"Jackal, you have a choice to make. You can either leave our organization or you can accept the assassination mission that I have for you."
Jackal had walked out of the room, never to have killed anyone in his life. He never liked the thought of taking another person's life. Though as he stood outside of the ruined castle with a rumbled belly, he was hungry and starving. He lifted his hood over his head and started to walk away from the organization that had taken him in. He had abandoned their ways of doing things and decided that killing wasn't right no matter what. A few days had gone by... his belly was so god damn empty that it almost looked like he had loss some weight. He was now crawling and on his knees as he was out in the open barren wasteland just wanting something to eat. There he spotted, a hungry demonic wolf that was ready to eat. The wolf rushed towards Jackal in hopes off chopping down at his flesh and consuming him whole!
Jackal was quick to evade him and was quick to knock the wolf out in the process. As he stood there towering over the wolf, the days of not eating began to take its toll on him. He looked at the wolf like it was a three course meal and started to eat it. He didn't care for the fur, the bones, or how it was uncooked. He was hungry, and for the first time... he had killed to survive.....
Jackal had soon return back to the Golden Cloaks, looked at the leader who was standing outside of the base and looking at him with a newfound determination in his eyes. The leader saw Jackal's face, his clothes covered in blood. He figured that Jackal had killed something in order to survive.
Meanwhile Yangcong was back on his ship and exploring space. He had received word by his commander for another mission.
"Yangcong, we need you to head over to Planet Tash."
"Planet Tash? but that's in the northern section of the galaxy?"
"Planet Tash is a planet filled with thieves and assassins. We had received word that the PTO have planned to use the Golden Cloaks to assassinate you. So your mission is to destroy their organization."
"You got it. Will handle it."
Yangcong knew that the golden cloaks were considered to be one of the strongest when it came to assassination missions and being thieves. It would take some time for Yangcong to show up.
Sometime had passed and Jackal was already on the move with his next mission. He was at a grand casino in the Northern region at a bar where most would call it a criminals den. However, it was being watched closely by the Underworld Criminal Faction due to a big operation happening within the casino itself. The criminals that call it a place to make a fortune and the casino owners who were losing vast amounts of money in house. They were desperate to catch who were the members associated with stealing so much funds from under their noses. They already had pinpointed one individual however that was hard to miss. Jackal was a frequent customer when it came to the casinos. He was winning big and not because he was good at the games. He was winning because the Golden Cloaks and its members were winning games by cheating. Watching from afar and up in the balcony regions and away from the oversize crowds, were two members of staff. The tallest member of the seven man group, Giant. With his unkept nasty beard and rotten teeth, he had his arms folded with confidence as he watched Jackal from afar just shaking his head in disbelief.
"They really are having trouble with a Golden Cloak member and his little crew..."
Giant had a habit of chewing on a toothpick and being arrogant all the time for those who were smaller in size than he was. His partner however, Gomul was medium size with a short crop of hair on the top of his head and shaved completely on the sides and back. The only thing that he did have was a ponytail coming from the hair he did have left and just having it dangle down towards his waistline. Gomul sitting on a wooden chair and leaning off a table with his foot planted against it.
"He's part of the Golden Cloak group, Jackal the Destroyer... His name has been popping up on the Wanted fliers lately. It is said that he is able to kill his victims without leaving a trace behind."
Giant had raised a brow and slightly chuckled.
"Isn't that the same brat that was cut short from a paycheck and went wild. Practically made the Golden Cloaks unwanted members in doing business with other factions."
Gomul had stopped his leaning and gotten up to see the brat for himself.
"Yea that's him alright. So what's the plan?"
Giant had stopped his leaning and began to grab a hold of the handle of his giant sword from his back. Before Gomul could stop him, he was already on the move. Landing at the table and messing up the game entirely for Jackal and his crew since they were winning, Giant was knee bent and already drawing his sword and attempting to slash Jackal's head off completely. Jackal didn't even move and with a light smirk on his face, he had already raised his knife against the blade.
"You ruined such a perfect game."
Normally, the criminals would have joined in unison to kick Giant's ass for interrupting the entire atmosphere and killing the scenery. However, they had looked at his uniform and had already recognize him as one of the top dogs when it came to the Underworld Criminal faction. They scattered like roaches and the only people left in the room were the business owners and employees who hid behind their respective employee areas, Giant and Gomul, and Jackal. Gomul had arrived just a few distance from Jackal and both his hands were in his pants pocket as he sighed to himself in annoyance.
"We could have done all of this outside you know."
About that time, Yangcong had showed up to the party, crashing down through the ceiling and standing on one of the chandeliers. They all started to spot him, with Jackal yelling over at Giant and Gomul.
"HOLD ON, THE PTO IS WILLING TO PAY US TOP DOLLAR FOR THAT MANS HEAD! I am willing to split the funds with you guys if you were willing to cut him down."
Jackal showing Giant and Gomul the tablet which listed Yangcong had a high bounty.
Giant's mouth had slightly dropped.
"No way... he's got a higher bounty than me...your telling me that, that saiyan over there is stronger than us?"
Jackal looking over at Yangcong and squinting his eyes.
"Perhaps the PTO have only gotten soft over the years. Perhaps their numbers are weak and can't compete. So what do you say guys?"
Giant quickly rushing over to Yangcong who was standing on the chandeliers. Yangcong's eyes met Giants and he quickly formed his blue fire on his right forearm against the sword, causing the sword to impact a nearby pillar and getting stuck in the process as Yangcong proceeded to press against it and sending it away. This causing Giant's body to somewhat stagger in place, Yangcong quickly spat out blue fire balls from his mouth and into Giant's eyes as he attempted to wipe off the fire that was slowly burning his eyes in the process. While he was busy being occupied, Yangcong quickly planted both his feet against the edges of the chandelier.
Yangcong now moving over to Gomul and now looking upside down of Gomul and now sending his right arm over at him and grabbing the man's left ankle as he quickly pulled him in. The man was no rookie and quickly pulled out a knife and slicing Yangcong's right forearm in the process. He had released the man and quickly leaping back from him.
Gomul quickly rushed at him, attempting to side kick him in the cheek, causing him to fly to the side and impacting a nearby table. Yangcong breaking the table in the process and already being down for the count. These weren't your amateur fighters and compared to the both of them Gomul was much stronger in strength. Yangcong raising to his feet as he dusted himself off in the process.
Before he knew it, Giant was right behind him and slicing Yangcong's back with his giant board sword. The pain was definitely real and Yangcong flying straight to Gomul's feet. Giant's eyes were somewhat daze but he would make it through. The cheapshot attack that Yangcong had made only pissed him off more. Gomul looking down at his feet at Yangcong now on the ground with a big slash against his back.
"An elite saiyan huh? The database much be outdated..."
Yangcong was just silent and without hesitation, Yangcong got up and quickly stared at the full moon that was just above him from the hole he had made in the wall. This was Yangcong's plan all along and now he had grabbed the man's head and violently threw him straight to a nearby pillar. The man was indeed injured as a result of it, however, this was only the beginning. Meanwhile, Giant attempted to rush at Yangcong with his sword, only to land straight into Yangcong's stomach, dropping his sword in the process, and flying straight back to a nearby wall. Yangcong had looked to the both of them, clearly they were no match when it came to Yangcong's current transformation. Though, they didn't receive such a reputation for nothing. They both had transformed and with added muscles to their bodies, they quickly rushed towards him.
Yangcong was quick to grab both of them and consuming their bodies with both his hands crushing their bodies to the point where their bones would crack and their souls were gone from this world. Jackal was standing in the background just shocked at what he had witness. But he wasn't going to go down without a fight, Jackal was quick to travel straight to Yangcong and slicing him up with his knife and sword style of fighting. The attacks were strong enough to de transform Yangcong and cause him to lay on the ground now. Yangcong was able to use the last bit of his energy to escape the area by sending several blue fire blast at Jackal, having one of them strike at him and causing him to be preoccupied.
Even though Yangcong had escaped just barely, he had knocked out completely....
Yangcong had awakened in a monk temple and what made it so divine and somewhat crazy, was that this monk temple was all the way up in the sky and hidden by the clouds for the most part. Yangcong was rather confused as to where he was and why he was here. Upon looking around, it seemed like he was in a temple and in front of him was the monk that had saved his life. This monk was named Kajin and he had calmly opened his eyes to see Yangcong looking at him strangely.
"Ah, you are finally awake I see. I was the one that got you out from that mess."
Yangcong seeing the man grab a cup of tea that was in front of him and calmly began to drink it. Yangcong had joined him since there was a cup for him as well.
"Listen, i'm thankful that you saved me and all, but I have to get going..."
The monk had calmly smiled and placed the tea down.
"There is a reason why I brought you here. I need your help..."
Yangcong had slightly tilted his head in confusion.
"My help? for what?"
Kajin had raised to his feet as the double doors had opened and in walked an elder monk along with another veteran monk beside him. The veteran monk was pissed and with his years of experience underneath his belt, he pointed his finger at Yangcong while looking at the elder monk.
"You see elder, he brought a foreigner to our land and that is forbidden!"
The elder with his naturally squinted eyes, looked to Yangcong and then at Kajin.
"Kajin, I am willing to hear your reasoning for this."
Kajin had approached the elder, getting on his knees and began to bow in respect to the elder.
"Forgive me elder, but I did it because we are in dire times..."
The elder had calmly rubbed his beard and immediately felt the power level of Yangcong. There was no doubt in his mind, Yangcong was strong enough to help them with their situation. The elder had approached Yangcong and looked over his uniform and looked back at Kajin.
"You brought someone from the Saiyan Empire... as strong as he is, he is very dangerous."
Yangcong looked at the elder and folded his arms across his chest.
"You know I can hear everything you guys are saying in front of me!"
The elder focused his eyes back on Yangcong again.
"You must leave here."
Yangcong stood up from his feet and began to walk towards the double doors.
"Gladly."
Kajin had now practically threw himself at Yangcong's feet, blocking him from leaving to hear his plea.
"Please sir, I have watched your fight. The strength you have can save us from the Golden Cloaks..."
Yangcong had raised a brow.
"The Golden Cloaks are after me. Since I caused them so much trouble on planet Ozen."
Yangcong had looked outside of a window to see clouds all around them. He looked back at Kajin.
"I'm sorry but I can't spend my time here. I got my own problems to deal with."
Just when Yangcong was about to walk out, Kajin had spoke his final words.
"We can train you to beat them and the elder here can unlock your potential.."
The elder just watched all this unfold, Yangcong turned 3/4th and looked at Kajin.
"Unlock my potential... what does that mean?"
The elder now had walked towards Yangcong and calmly touching his shoulder. He read Yangcong's mind, his past... finally looking at Yangcong with a calm smile.
"You have killed those who are evil in the world. Not for the sake of being a hero, but for the sake of the Saiyan Empire. I can unlock your potential and make you stronger than you are now. The only problem is, I can only do it for those who have unlocked their inner ki."
Yangcong had received the training and the unlocked potential, being a full weeks time.
What made the Golden Cloaks so well known was not only their three members, but their ruin castle that was known throughout the Northern Region. Though the castle fortress was relatively small in size and wasn’t as grand as others, it was known for its red tint walls and strong structure.
Yangcong had arrived at their estate and overlooking a hill, he had inhaled deeply as he looked at the fortress down below. He could tell the majority of it didn't have a ceiling but it still looked to be as strong as ever. Having arrived now at the bridge that joined the long road, the Golden Cloaks were smart when it came to a barrier covering their entire fortress.
Upon arrival, he met eyes with Jackal who was guarding the bridge from any trespassers. Jackal was shocked to see Yangcong’s arrival and smirked his way.
“You’re a fool for coming. Didn’t we teach you lesson already. You were lucky that you were able to escape that day.”
Yangcong stopped in his tracks as he began to get into his stance.
“The time has come..”
Yangcong had immediately brushed forward straight towards Jackal. Jackal responded with pulling out his sword and knife and attempting to dash straight towards him and attempted to slice him up. Yangcong was quick to evade the incoming slash by jumping in the air.
Yangcong tried spitting his blue fire spit balls at him, only for Jackal to evade it so easily without hesitation.
“You are famous for your blue fire...”
Jackal was quick to hurl his sword at Yangcong while he was in mid air still. Yangcong had quickly clapped both his hands together and stopped the sword in its track. Coming from right behind him was Jackal and he quickly side kicked him in the face as he now flew to the ground and dropping the sword in the process.
Yangcong was quick to roll to the side, evading the stomp that was meant for his face. Yangcong hurled sand into his face, causing him to blink rapidly and grunt sending a quick beam from Yangcong's mouth as Jackal’s entire body was now covered in it. Seriously injured from his wounds, Jackal looked at him and chuckled.
“You lucky bastard. I pray that they give you a quick death. They aren’t as nice as I am…”
He had closed his eyes and Yangcong looked to the castle with fire in his eyes.
Advancing straight ahead towards the gate of the fortress, he would quickly halt in his tracks as Rezgard stood guarding it.
"I see that Jackal's power level had ceased. You really made the big mistake of coming here."
Rezgard had charge straight for him and attempted to barrage a fist his body. Yangcong was quick to move back from the attacks and blocking it with his open palm hands in quick succession. The frustrated Rezgard was only getting more angry at how strong Yangcong was. Yangcong had quickly ended it with his famous move that he had learned with the monks. A quick open palm strike to the man's center torso was enough to push him back and straight into the closed gates that now ruptured open due to the impact from Rezgard. As Rezgard started panting in disbelief, he couldn't believe that he was being outclassed by saiyan so easily even with his added transformation against him... who was still in his base form.
Just before Rezgard had gone off to the otherworld, he spoke to him.
"You are messing with the wrong organization..."
Yangcong bursting through the doors of the Fortress base and there stood the leader Razor, in the lobby just smoking his cigarette.
"So you are the one I have been hearing about so much. Seems like Rezgard and Jackal couldn't handle an insect like you."
The fight had started and Razor was quick to dash straight to Yangcong, pulling out his knives and placing it between his fingers. Four on each side and the stabbing from it was more than enough to cause Yangcong to slow down in his tracks when it came to easily beating them. When it came to the ranking system, Razor was stronger than both Rezgard and Jackal combined. Yangcong was easily down for the count considering he had received a wound to his stomach. However this wouldn't be the end for Yangcong since he had expanded by looking at the moon. He immediately stood back up and began to scream with his loud and booming voice. The gust of wind was strong enough to cause Razor to be pushed back against the wall and shattering the nearby furniture in the process.
Razor was still somewhat dazed by Yangcong, however Yangcong wouldn't give him a foothold or a stepping stone, he would try to end it quickly with a strong beam from his mouth. The impact had essentially shredded Razor's clothing into a tattered state and he had dropped to a kneel because of the damage he had taken.
"As strong as you are Yangcong, this won't be a cake walk."
Razor had transformed and immediately began to match with Yangcong in speed and strength. The fight going for about five minutes, with both of them panting as an end result of it. Just when he thought the fighting wouldn't go anywhere. Yangcong was quick to grab a hold of Razor and proceeded to combine his hands together, squeezing his body and then blowing blue fire all over his body. The constant burns, the constant squeezing, was more than enough to cause Razor to de transform and to completely die by the wounds. The fight was over and the Golden Cloaks were dead. The members that did remain and who were far weaker than Yangcong and the top three members, were essentially wiped out by Yangcong completely destroying their base and their entire organization. Yangcong had successfully defeated them and further stopping the PTO's plans.
Planet Zemreck
Planet Zemreck was a peaceful planet filled with trees, rivers, grass, and a peaceful people. So when Yangcong had decided to go here for vacation, he didn't think nothing much of it.
Carrying a long stick on his back with two buckets of water on either side, Yangcong would march his way up the steep hill. Sweat kept dripping from his face due to doing this method for two hours now. As he finally made his way to the top his panting had stopped and he looked over to see Moon Village. A half smile appeared on his face only to be stolen away from as a nearby child approached him from behind.
"Yangcong sir?"
"Yea what is it?"
"Why are you all the way out here?"
"Gathering water for the village."
"Yangcong sir? can I be a warrior just like you?"
"Given time. You will be able to become a warrior. But right now your place is to have fun and enjoy your youth."
The two made their way back to the village and smiles and joyful stares were given to Yangcong, he was use to it by now. Placing the buckets down and getting back to work. As he walked away, the child would be curious as to why everyone else was always so nice to him. The child had caught up to him and wondered.
"Mr Yangcong, how come everyone here treats you like family You are a saiyan and we are Zemreckains. We normally aren't so welcoming to other races on our planet. So i'm wondering why are you the exception?"
"Long ago in my early teenage years, I was sent to this planet to protect it from invaders. Since your people are use to just doing jobs like mining and other jobs as well in order to help the Empire. I did just that and protected your people from the PTO."
"I see, I have never heard of it."
Yangcong headed to the river bank that was a mile away and started to fill them up.
"It was before your time and I'm pretty sure they don't just go around telling people the story. Since they have other things to worry about."
"Is there a way you can teach me that cool blue fire you are always using?"
"Perhaps one day, but you are too young to learn it."
"When I come of age when I can learn, will you teach me?"
Yangcong filled up the buckets and continued his track back.
"You got yourself a deal."
"Thank you Mr Yangcong!"
The kid had left with joyful tears and Yangcong had soon return to the village, placing the buckets of water on the ground. As he looked around, a Zemreckian warrior had shown up.
"Don't start filling that kids head with dreams of being a powerful warrior some day. Only a select few are chosen and since he was born in the South village, most likely he will tend to the mines or the crops.?"
"Anyone can change their destiny. I was destined to be a low class warrior and here I am standing as an elite warrior, I defied the odds."
The warrior was about to get in Yangcong's face, that is when the elder stepped in.
"Easy now. Go about your business. Yangcong come with me."
The warrior bowed to the Elder and went back to doing his business. Meanwhile Yangcong walked side by side with the Elder.
"I overheard everything. As much as I want to agree with you Yangcong I just can't. We have a system in place and we know the statistics of our village. Those born in the South village have average power levels of 100. While those borns in the North Village have average power levels of 1,000 or more. There is a reason why we have this system in place."
"I just didn't want the kid to just view his surrounds and just know that one day he would end up a simple farmer or a miner."
"Kids like that are rare and we have only seen about 1 or 2 South village kids grow up to be strong and join the warriors guild."
"I see. So the odds of him ever becoming a warrior is slim."
"That's right."
"Well I'm going to call it a night."
Yangcong left that night and started to walk to a nearby cave. As he was about to call it a night, he heard a child crying in the cave.
As he rushed over to the scene, he saw a wild life creature towering over the kid. Yangcong stood firm and folded his arms across his chest. The kid was so afraid that his power started to rise and before Yangcong could intervene, the kid rushing over to the animal and head butting it. This causing the wild life to fly against the cave walls and knocking out in the process.
"That was very good kid."
The kid turned to look at Yangcong.
"Oh wow, I have no idea I could do all that."
Yangcong smiling towards him and slightly smirking.
"You know, if you come here tomorrow morning, I can teach you the fire style technique."
"You really mean it!"
The child left and the next morning, the child was right outside of the cave and Yangcong had awakened and now stood outside of the cave with his hands to his hips.
"So you decided to show up after all then."
"That's right! I have to be just like my mentor!"
Yangcong chuckling and bringing out his right hand out. Forming a ki orb and now showing it to the child as it was blue in nature and just a regular ki orb.
"You first want to start forming a regular ki ball of energy. That is how everyone else is taught to form their ki. Your color will be different from everyone elses."
"Yes sir!"
The child started to copy him and formed the yellow ki orb in front of him.
"Next you want to change the nature of the ki orb. So you will want to change it to fire."
The kid trying so hard but ultimately had the orb just vanish from their hand as they was extremely tired from trying it.
"You still aren't ready yet."
The next day, Yangcong was outside of the cave kicking a thick tree. As he started to look around, he noticed a particular smell. It was rice balls left outside of the cave. He started to scan around and spotted the same child hiding in the bushes. Days would pass by and the same routine would take place, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
He woke up with the same routine as he kicked that tree. Only this time, he caught the kid leaving the food next to the cave and walked up to him.
"You really want me to keep training you huh?"
"Please just-"
Yangcong sitting on the floor and grabbing a rice ball.
"Listen kid, I can train you for days and days, if you can't grasp the concept I can't further teach you."
"No, I don't want you to teach me, I'm saying I want you to watch me perform it."
Yangcong noticing the burnt marks on the kid's hands. He had really been training by himself.
"Alright, lets see what you can do."
The kid performing the fire style technique with both his hands and the fire orb getting so big that Yangcong's eyes had widen.
"You really have proven yourself."
The kid left and Yangcong finishing his meal. Sometime had passed and that same tree that he kept kicking, had finally collapse to the ground due to the bark chipping away. Yangcong awoken one day and as he stepped outside of his cave, he stared at the elder of the village.
"We need to talk."
"What is it?"
"The kid that we spoke about, now has a power level of over 800."
"Look, all I did was teach him the fire style technique."
"I wanted to ask you a favor. Can you teach all of the kids that?"
"Sadly I will be leaving tomorrow. My vacation period is up. The kid can teach the others if he wants to. I have other things to deal with."
"You are welcome here anytime."
Yangcong walking around the village later on and seeing the kid starting to train the others. The warrior that had first scolded Yangcong, was now standing next to him.
"Its not that I didn't want the kid to become strong one day. I just didn't want to give him the false hope that so many of those kids get."
"Like I said before, anyone can change their destiny, you can't just assume everyone is the same."
"You are right. Tell me, what were you like back then when you first protected this place?"
"I was a low class, just doing my job protecting you guys from the invaders that came."
"What move did you teach him anyway?"
"Its a strong technique and if used right, can save a lot of people."
Yangcong nodded and headed back to planet vegeta the next day.
The history of this planet, the kid ended up being a full adult within two years time and became a warrior. He finally made it remembered his mentor Yangcong.

A Kingdom Betrayed...
.
.
The Golden Cloaks
