Serena remembered waking up after the Destruction of east city battered and beaten to a pulp. Had it been almost any other being on the planet they would have been dead several times over and as it was she had woken up tired without a body except her head. She had to pull herself back together and regrow the entirety of herself and searched the remnants of the city for anyone left alive. Unfortunately she had found no one left alive even after hours of searching but she eventually gave up her search when she saw the world's army arrive to scour the destroyed city. She remembered how the city had turned on her being the same species as Liari and after hesitating only a moment before darting away undetected by the world's armed forces.
From the Destroyed cities remaines she had wandered around the world trying to figure out what to do next and eventually ended up in the east city. She was here looking for food as she still didn't really know how to cook yet and for the powerful Majin who only weeks before had been trying to eat bark it was difficult. Many in the city treated her badly since she was a Majin but so far none had been outright hostile to her but that didn't mean she could find work easily. To pay for food and other items she needed to live and to train with. She was absolutely determined to become stronger to face Liari again and actually win or allow someone else to win. No matter what she knew she could not give up now and despite her life she kept trying with a big smile on her face.
One day this all would come crashing down when she was walking from the construction site she was working carrying steel beams from one side to the other side when she felt a power level near her that was not normal, easily stronger than anyone else but her in the city. She quickly finished what she was doing and went out to investigate it. “” This KI feels something Like Nasu’s”” She spoke to herself as she flew to it as fast as she could to it and ignored all the shouts of people down below that saw her flying through the streets. Several of them even thought she was Liari and that they were gonna die today but luckily they were safe. She suddenly stopped above the crowd of people looking down at all the humans she searched for the power level she had felt. She was quickly noticed and a shout went up as someone shouted out “” ITS LIARI!! RUUUN!”” Further confusing the Majin with the rush of people that ran into each other trying to flee for their lives. “” Wait WAIT Don't move so much!”” but no matter how much she pleaded none of them listened to her and left Serena only one choice. She slowly flew in the direction of the power level she was feeling until she caught a quick glimpse of them before once again losing them in the crowd. “” That wasn't Natsu… I.. great I scared everyone for no reason.”” Serena rubbed the back of her head in embarrassed manner

In the chaos of the moment, there was someone just oblivious to it all, walking past the panicked people as she wondered just what was going on? After all, there wasn't any imminent danger around, she didn't smell any evil about. Still, she couldn't help but wonder why people were fleeing. She happened to look up and see the Majin that was Serena, but again, she didn't pay any mind to it. Why? She had no reason to. She didn't see anything wrong with a Majin being in town. But, then again, young teenage intuition had failed her before.
Still, it was best to just walk along, and walk along she did as she simply whistled a tune of one of her favorite workout songs... though, she had to admit, the self training wasn't getting her much farther from where she was... she just hoped someone could point her in a direction where she could get proper training... though she was a little worried. It was a full moon tonight, and she remembered the damage she had caused before on the city outskirts. Still, best only to worry about that closer to dark, for now, in case this Majin WAS a threat...
"Just keep walking, Opherla..." She mumbled to herself as she walked on, hoping that, first, the Majin didn't spot her, and if the Majin did, secondly, it was friendly, not scary.

Serena watched her target slowly start to walk away from her and was slightly flabbergasted at what she was seeing.”” how.. What.. why? Everyone else is running!!!”” It did not make too much sense to Serena why she was just trying to walk away and think she wouldn't notice her or maybe she didn't. It took her a minute to decide what to do about the pup but when she did she was almost out of sight. Serena let her go and followed at a distance. Out of sight but using her ability to sense her to follow not too far behind the strange girl. Serena was not sure why she was following and kinda felt a little bit like a stalker but then again it might be becuess her Ki felt similar to Natsu maybe the same species? After all everyone else on the planet was human except a few individuals she had met. And this one seemed stronger then the others so maybe she could help her get stronger just like when she fought Acsull.
Serena would spend as much as time as needed to wait until she was alone or home before confronting her but she had no intention of scaring the girl as that would be rude. But eventually she would drop down on the ground near the girl and in a timid Voice call out to her. “” Hello? Sorry to bother you…. But what are you?”” Serena did not really think about it too much as if she had she might have realized that she looked nothing like any of the people on this planet with her Majin body. Then again even by other Majin standards she looked pretty strange for having such long hair and a nose. “” OHHHH How rude of Me My name is Serena Red and its a pleasure to meet you! Sorry to bother you but you're a lot stronger than everyone else in this city.

The girl hadn't had a clue she was being followed. After all, ki sensing and scenting wasn't exactly her forte. She had tried to self teach herself that but... well, it just flopped. Anyways, she kept going for a long way, miles even. Serena had to keep up with the girl's mild jogging, boy she liked to stay athletic! But, it was who Opherla was, she wanted to stay in the best shape possible! Anyways, after a many mile trek, Serena followed Opherla right to her home.
As Opherla opened the door to her house, her ears picked up the sound of the landing Majin and turned, seeing the red Majin from before right in front of her! "EYAGH!!!" The girl screamed as she jumped back and crawled back in the safety of her house before hearing the timid voice of Serena... well, she seemed nice enough... but still, she scared the hell out of Opherla!
"D-don't scare me like that!" Opherla exclaimed. "B-but at least you seem nice- W-wait, what do you mean what am I!?" Opherla exclaimed as she heard Serena ask her first question. What was she? Opherla didn't know! She had no clue really that she was a Saiyan, let alone the latent power she had as a Beastfolk! However, she saw the emotion shift and the quick apology from the Majin... okay, maybe she could be trusted after all.
"Serena... okay, my name is Opherla." Opherla introduced before she then heard the latter part of Serena's sentence. "W-wait, what do you mean I'm the strongest one in this city!? Sure I've won some Tournaments but I don't think that really qualifies- A-anyways why is everyone afraid of you!?" Opherla asked, as she had a lot of questions. First of all, why was this Majin so attracted to her, second of all, why did she care, third of all, who was SHE to call OPHERLA the STRONGEST in WEST CITY!?

Serena might have expected to scare the maybe sayian a little bit but that had only meant to be a little bit. She felt a little bit bad for scaring her enough to fall down on her behind. No that wasn't right she was actually put off by the girls reaction and the reminder of how easily it would be to terrorize people like Liari.
She was relieved when only moments later she began to ask questions in rapid manner. Serena smiled though as it meant she was relaxing a good amount. "" yes you are the strongest in the city or rather the strongest person power I can sense."" A part of Serena wondered if the girl no opherla truly understood her power. "" sorry to bother you but your KI felt similar to a friend of Mines and I wanted to train with him"" She shook her head slightly"" I had a small hope you were another sayian""
She studied the girl a moment longer before the question about everyone fleeing from her came up. ""Oh that…well there another of my kind that has destroyed entire cities. I figured you would have known since it's in the news"" Serena shook her head slightly remembering how she had felt meeting that fear when she had first arrived in town.
Serena slowly studied the girl a bit more as she acknowledged she had won a few titles. After a moment Serena could tell why as opherla held a wild strength in her. "" I'll say it like this…you're probably almost 500x stronger then the typical human male. Even if you don't know how to use it correctly."" With that said the Majin would create a two red ki blasts. One was a tiny little thing and the other much bigger. "" that's how you feel compared to the other humans of this city.

Opherla looked at the Majin oddly. The news? What news? Opherla didn't have time for the news! She lived a different life than that! She was more focused on training and harnessing... whatever power she possessed. She knew she had it but never knew what it was.
She heard the Majin mention that damned name again. 'Saiyan.' Ever since she had started training, Opherla had been labeled with that damn name ever since! She didn't know what that was, and more importantly, she didn't know why the hell everyone believed she was a Saiyan! She was just a wolf! Plain and simple! So what if she was stronger than most!
"What is it with all of you people calling me a 'Saiyan' or whatever!?" Opherla exclaimed in partial fury, partial confusion. "I don't even know what a Saiyan is! Well, I do know a little, but I hardly qualify!" She said in anger as she glared at Serena. "And secondly, if that was your kind that destroyed another city then maybe I shouldn't trust you!"
The confusion of everything happening was starting to paint Serena in a bad picture in Opherla's eyes... but, she then noticed how Serena was starting to compare Opherla to everyone else in the city. While Opherla wanted to rebuttal, she couldn't help but nod her head at that fact. The question was why... Opherla had always asked why... but perhaps maybe... maybe this Majin knew more about her than what she believed. Maybe this Majin could help her. Maybe, maybe this Majin held the keys to understanding why Opherla kept being labeled as a 'Saiyan.'
"So... you really believe I'm a Saiyan, do you?" Opherla would then ask in a gentler voice as she nodded a bit. "Okay... if you believe I am a Saiyan... then you must know of ways to help a Saiyan unlock their latent potential, am I correct?" Opherla would ask. "If so, then please, I'm begging you... I want to become stronger because while I don't know specifics, I know this world is dangerous, I know this world has its villains... I just need some help understanding my power and what I can truly do so... can you help me, then?" Opherla asked Serena in a calmer tone.

Serena was slightly upset at first when she was compared to Liari. To be grouped with that monster really upset her until she told herself to remember they probably just scared. A being that could wipe out cities was terrifying and one you couldent stop had to be much worse. But to her relief the girls fear didn't last for very long
Serena watched and listened carefully to opherla when she spoke of being a saiyan. It sounded like there was some pain involved or bad stigma involved with it and that Opherla didn't like it very much. On the back end of it it seemed like she did have a competitive streak in her like most of the saiyans she met.
"" do I believe your a saiyan?"" Pondered the question out loud as she once again felt Opherla ki signature out. It did feel similar to one but not one exactly and that probably meant she was not a pure Sayian if she had to guess. "" Not fully no I don't think so. But you feel like one a lot and I bet you have there blood in you."" Crossing her arms she remembered that the child in front of her wanted to become stronger and Serena needed the same thing. Though she wanted to hunt down the evil and not just defend herself like Opherla.
She took several moments before nodding her head. :" You want to unlock your pontinental? I don't know to much about how for a Saiyan but I know for most.. fighting a strong or stronger opponent helps everyone. Though I heard that for Saiyans that works even better. "" Serena would sit down on a near by fence a grin spreading across her face. "" wouldn't mind practicing with you and I make a perfect opponent as you can't truly hurt me. So want to?"" Serena was kinda excited to fight someone else since acsull. And helping Opherla would be fun and possibly a future rival to push herself farther than before. A small flash of Natsu flashed before her eyes making her heart ach.

Opherla's eyes couldn't help but sparkle the minute the Majin accepted her reply. She was willing to help! Immediately, Opherla knew that Serena could be trusted, because she saw that Serena was willing to help Opherla get stronger, and in turn, Opherla noticed Serena wanted to get stronger too. This was a great chance, finally, in all her time of living on her own in West City, she had herself a sparring partner! Someone who was willing to help her harness her strength! Opherla was almost to the point of jumping and squealing like a little girl! But... she was able to hold it in.
"A spar would be great. I'd love to show you all that I can do and see just what you think! Let's head to the outskirts, there's a clearing on the southeast end a few miles out of West City we can use to spar. No people, no animals, just you and me in an open area. That's okay, right?" Opherla asked Serena, wondering if Serena was used to wide open training areas, or if she was more used to training areas with various obstacles. Regardless of wherever she wanted, Opherla knew a lot of good spots to fit the ideal sparring area needs, so whatever Serena decided, Opherla could provide a perfect spot. It helped whenever you actively trained in many different areas at a time to know about many different areas to train and spar.

Serena smiled when she saw how excited Opherla was at the idea of training with some one else and to say the least it was infectious. "" Pick any area that you like alright? Lead the way!"" She replied with a little bit of excitement. After all she was not from this area and knew very little about secluded spot.
She would wait to follow Opherla to the training area were she would land about a good 10 away from her. "" so let's get this training started"" With that Declaration Serena gets into fighting stance a grin across her face as she judges her opponent "" go ahead and attack first alright? You can't hurt me.. not permanently anyway"" With that proclamation Serena would raise one hand to Opherla before using the other hand covered in her ki to cut it off.
Serena knew it would shock the girl and while she would like to surprise her it was she decided not to. Yes the cut was painful but not overly so and she wanted to show the young pup that she didn't have to hold back at all. "" try not to freak out but I can easily regrow it or.."" reaching down she picked up her hand again placed it back were it belonged. Serena was glad she didn't have any messy bits to scare the girl worse then she was already going to be.

Opherla led them to a wide open plains on the outskirts of West City. This was a common place Opherla had usually trained herself on a daily basis. Only this time, she had a partner to do it with! There wasn't anything she or Serena could hurt here. Just a wide open area where they could fight it out!
Opherla was a little surprised at Serena giving her the first move, and just as she was about to say otherwise, Serena proceeded to just... CUT HER OWN HAND OFF!? Before Opherla could freak out, she watched as Serena began putting it back on, which immediately calmed the Wolf Saiyan down, as she nodded. Okay, it wasn't going to be easy to hurt her. That was the point. So... might as well take advantage of the chance!
Opherla would charge right for Serena, taking her offer as she launched a series of rapid kicks, before finishing with a backflip kick to the face! She would follow up with a series of fierce punches, keeping up the assault as she utilized her claws to add in some slashes with her combo, before trying to switch things up as she backflipped and launched a massive volley of ki blasts!

Serena liked the area Opherla had chosen for their little sparring session as it was away from anyone that could be hurt or spy on them. It would make it easy for Serena to let loose and help Opherla get used to real combat as much as she could be. That was one thing she had learned while fighting Liari was how harsh it could be. “” Great spot you picked out. I See you have used it before. Well let's go!”” She put arms up ready for the sparring match and was glad she did not have to wait very long at all.
Opherla charged her head on not doing much to try to get an edge on Serena and it made her wonder how much actual fighting experience did she have. As she dodged the first few kicks with ease she smiled, noticing that the kicks were smooth without any real flaw in them. Serena could easily dodge them with their power Difference but she tried to slow her speed and power to match Opherla’s and almost instantly caught a foot to her jaw. It did little more than make her head jerk up for a moment before she instantly lowered it to look back at her. “” NICE!!”” She shouted as she started to block or deflect the flurry of blows that was to follow up next with.
She was about to counter attack when Leaped away from her and started firing a barrage of Ki blasts that made Serena smile. To be honest she had not known how much the fighter across from her knew about controlling her ki as she had not caught her using it directly yet. Well now was the time to have a little fun. Serena smiled broadly and stood perfectly still as the Ki blasts hit her dead on and exploded, throwing up a huge cloud of dust that took several moments to blow away. When the dust cleared all that was left Of serena was her body from the waist up and horrified look on her face. “” WHAAAAT AHHH!!! WHERE ARE MY LEGS!!”” She screamed, reaching for legs that were no longer there. Suddenly she would stop screaming and grin at her foe as her waist started to contort for a moment the body rolling. Suddenly a pair of legs would burst out of her abdomen. “” There they are.”” kicking her newly formed legs out she launched herself to her feet and immediately threw herself at Opherla Stretching out her arms to throw a flurry of punches at a distance. “” This is gonna be so much fun!!””

Opherla smiled as she heard the confirmation of how she was doing from Serena, smiling as that gave her a nice boost of confidence! Opherla just hoped she could continue impressing this Majin with her fighting abilities.
Then she shot her ki blasts as smoke covered Serena, as Opherla began wondering if she had killed Serena... before seeing Serena with only her head and torso as Opherla screamed. "OH MY GOD! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!!!" She would exclaim as she immediately thought she hurt her badly, until Serena grew back her legs as Opherla sighed. "Oh rats... I forgot you cou-"
WHAM!
The first of the punch flurry hit Opherla dead in the face as Opherla was hit by the consecutive punches, Opherla yelping in pain and gritting her teeth as she blocked, as she suddenly called out: "Daiyō!"
When she did, she suddenly poofed and transformed into a collectible cat plushie! Right before Serena's eyes! One minute she was a human, now she was a cat plushie! Serena just turned her sparring partner into a toy!
Or, as she might think, as Opherla was actually behind her, having dug out of her own bag of tricks as she smiled, and began grinding her claws together, building up energy before...
"SAJĪKURŌ!" Opherla yelled as she fired an X-slash pattern ki array right at Serena at high speeds, hoping to hit the mark with the red/gold ki based attack.

Serena smiled as her little trick worked on Opherla and she lowered her guard allowing her to get a nice blow in before she suddenly found herself hitting a plushie instead of her target.”” WHAT?!”” She cried out in shock and instantly started to feel for Her Ki and was shocked when it was behind her already. She just started to turn her head when she heard Opherla scream out her attack's name. She on instinct Used her Ki to make herself move at high speed and at full power making herself appear to have literally disappeared to Opherla and reappear 20 feet in the air about were she had been standing just a moment before.”” Jesus hahah You scared me. Here Let's see how well you can dodge?!””
Serena powered up two red Ki blasts in her hand making sure they were at her level before throwing several of the blasts At Opherla. Each red blast would move in an arc to their intended target making it harder to track each one. As soon as the blast left each hand she would once again dive. At the teen a wicked grin spread across her face as she started having fun playing with Opherla. “” How much higher can you get Your power level?”” She shouted as she dived to the ground then instantly rebounding off of it at Opherla intending to follow up with a series of punches,.

Opherla knew one thing the moment the battle began, she knew that against a Majin, she had no chance, irregardless of power level difference or whatever, she knew that this woman looked tough so chances were, she was gonna lose.
Nothing confirmed that more than when Serena launched her next series of attacks. She heard her taunt and ask if Opherla could raise her power any higher...
She couldn't. It wasn't possible. She tried everything to dodge, even getting off a Split-Second Dodge to avoid some damage... but it was too little too late, as Serena's next punch flurry hit, bruises already forming on Opherla as the poor young and, in the grand scheme of things, pretty powerless girl was pelted with attacks before the final blow sent her reeling through the air, her jacket flying off as Opherla groaned in pain, rolling across the ground before stopping at last after hitting the one lone tree left in the plain area. Opherla was slow to get up, as she held her midsection in pain, though truth be told, she hurt all over as she stood up... but only for a second, slumping against the tree as she closed her eyes and began to cry.
"...I can't raise my power any higher... I'm too weak..." Opherla cried as she leaned her head back on the tree, as she truly felt sorry she couldn't put up a proper fight like Serena wanted. "I'm not a fighter or a warrior... I'm just... I'm no good..." Opherla said in her sorrow as she slumped more against the tree, truly sad at her own insignificant Power Level.

Serena grinned as she managed to land a few blows and sent Opherla flying through the air. Serena was used to her body's more durable state as she always recovered from any blow she received pretty quickly. At the same time the Majin was a magical being and never had to truly grow as other beings did and to say she was not ready for Opherla to start crying. The Majin froze for a few moments trying to understand what had happened and she started to feel horror that she had hurt her. “” I ..I “” Serena stuttered for a few moments as she tried to comprehend what was going on.
Sudden memories from her former life with her father flash before her eyes and she could remember how he used to comfort her when she was upset. It only took a moment before Serena walked over to the crying girl and sat beside her and pulled her into a one armed hug. Serena never had many people to interact with so she did not really understand that she might be crossing boundaries.”” So you think you're useless? weak? Power doesn't come overnight..when you hurt you gotta keep fighting.”” letting out a deep sigh as painful memories come rushing back to her. “” I had a friend …a Sayian that was obsessed with getting stronger and he would train everyday until his body hurt. He was stronger than me and was growing stronger.”” With a small hug Serena stood up and walked out into the clearing and suddenly screamed! “” AHHHHHHHHHHH!”” With the scream Serena pulled up all of her rage at Liari and drew deeply within herself as her power level Started to rise dramatically and suddenly a Red aura surrounded her. The red light was full of violence and finally Serena reached her maximum power level.
Serena now had an hour of menace around her as she slowly started to advance on Opherla. her eyes were hardened and the once playful eyes full of anger. “Once i didnt even have this power.. But every day I train .. I train so I never have to see my friends disappear again. Once I fought when I was no stronger than you.”” Suddenly the Aura vanished as her anger faded away. And her eyes just looked full of sadness “” I know I could be just like Liari… consuming everyone I met to become stronger. But I refuse to be that monster and I will never allow my friends to fight alone again. So… Are you gonna sit there? Or get up when it hurts? The moment you get up even though you're scared.. Or hurt… you have already become stronger.
