The sound of gentle wind whistled against the sea as it carried the salty scent into the air and the trees as it signaled the early morning before the sun ever had. As it rose over the horizon on the south seas the tropical biome would come to life with the day as birds began to fly from the smaller islands over to the largest one in the area, one big enough to be called a small continent, Papaya Island. In one of the jungles on this very island where the same ocean-faring landed a rustling could be heard followed by the squeal of a wild swine.
At the edge of the jungle, the cracked bones of another one could be found leading towards the scene of the carnage. The squeals from before were muffled and wet before they ended with a firm crunch. This was followed by the sounds of the predator swallowing the rest of the swine whole. However, this wasn't the standard act of a creature in the ecosystem engaging in its daily habits as could be seen by anyone who looked into the canopy on that day.
"Mm." A clawed finger would pop from the mouth of an oversized red bat that was sitting in the canopy. As it licked its maw it would flick its ears and turn its head as if it was observing the area around it. "I hope this planet as more to offer than squealing snacks, everyone has that."
As he crouched on the branch he would push off and begin flapping massive wings that could be heard through the forest, it being the intent instead of flying with his Ki. The Bio-android was here to meet up with a contact, he had recently arrived on the planet and his superiors who had arrived here earlier had already made connections and started the process of takeover. With the rumors, he had heard of the takeover he thought it would be prudent to get in on it early on so he could grow now only his knowledge but his strength as well. With this in mind, he had sent ahead some correspondence to meet up with one of the many people Zero Ika had met up with hoping they could get him started on helping the organization.
"Mm I hope that he gets here soon enough, this might be out of the way but it's better to meet up inconspicuously." He would fly down to where he saw some fruit that had fallen, it was almost as big as his head, which he would gleefully shove down his gullet, popping it between his fangs the fruit juice washing down the rest of the flesh and cleansing the taste of iron. "Mm, but at least there's plenty to eat while I wait."
Although not entirely massive by comparison to other races he was definitely larger than any bat and his frame, along with his fancy pants would give away his nature as something beyond. If his red fur with wisps of light coming off didn't give away his oddness as is. However, he hoped that this oddness that would've worked against him in the cities would help him here.

"How...unsightly."
While rest assured the young hybrid had seen much worse than the scene currently unfolding before him, it failed to make it any less repellent to spectate in the first place. Even after witnessing a similar sight with the recently acquainted forced halfbreed Kimi, Calot still stared upon the feasting feats of the bat-man looking being standing in front of him with a judgmental gaze. And to think, that this was one of the people he was expected to work alongside while paying back the debt of information he owed Zero Ika. How, unfortunate.
The duos' first meeting had been set up by the aforementioned Zero Ika, whom they both just so happened to be employed under for the time being. Well, perhaps Khyrop was better described as employed, whilst Calot's cooperation was simply to keep up one end of a mutually beneficial deal. After having first arrived on Earth, the young man had been left with no leads as to how to attain greater power, and seeing as it was the entire reason he had left his home-world in the first place, this was quite the hurdle to overcome. However, after a bit of research, it was decided that it would be much easier if Calot were to take advantage of one of the most knowledgeable beings on the planet in order to cover most, if not all of his bases, and that just so happened to be the CEO to be of Ika Inc. himself, Zero.
Their first meeting had been, interesting, to say the least- with nearly the entire lobby of his company headquarters being torn asunder by the young man's need for dramatic display. However, after a thought provoking conversation, the two were able to come to an agreement that would be favorable for all those involved. Zero would tell Calot all he knew of Earth's means of gaining further power, and enable him to have access to quite a large means of acquiring whatever information he may need. With Calot simply needing to promise that he would enlist his services to him until his journey for greater strength was complete.
Not one to be bound by politics or public opinion, Calot couldn't care less that one could interpret him working with the PTO was, inherently villainous. He knew of their reputation, as he did most other organizations within the cosmos that held as much weight in their action as they did, but he simply did not care. If he would be able to progress himself past what his present limitations were with the power and resources at Zero Ika's disposal, then he would do whatever needed to gain access to them.
Even if that did mean working with someone like this.
Upon initial impression, one might be unawares of the inherently intelligent nature that this mutant looking individual held, some casual onlookers possibly thinking it to be some creature out of township myth come to life to feast upon their flesh. And while not inaccurate in every facet, they would be wrong to think this thing was some mindless beast- no, this was Calot's contact, the man that he was sent to go and meet by Zero himself. Seeing as the two would be working closely in the near future, Zero believed it to be a good "bonding" experience for them to actually interact face to face outside of official business, and while Calot believed there to be nothing more bothersome to do, he relented- not wanting to lose the good graces of the business mogul so quickly.
Having landed just a few yards in front of the man himself, Calot looked upon him with a slight tilt of his chin upwards, a single eyebrow raised as he stared at the scene in slight wonder, gesturing toward Khyrop with the end of his sheathed sword as he spoke in his usual cold tone, "I assume that you are Khyrop, then, yes? I appear to have incredible luck when dealing with those of your kind, so I suppose I already have high hopes set for you then."
His statement rang fully true, as he had already met a total of two other Bio-Android type individuals in his time on this planet. Which was incredible, considering the nature of their origin in the first place, but apparently these humans loved to play God more than he once thought.
"Do you know exactly what Zero expects us to be doing, then? What our order of business is? Or is this just some momentary meet and greet- a calm before the approaching storm?"

The bio-android's ears were the first thing to react to the world around them, they always were as they had become his strongest sense giving him wider access to the world around him. He licked his lips while he was still hunched over and then stood up fully, he wassn't imposing by most means only being four feet tall. Although he had dagger like fangs hanging from his mouth and fur that twisted into bright red wisps of a flaring red dwarf star he was also incredibly composed. He strode forward, his personally tailored pants making little sound as he approached the man.
"Archduke Khyrop, but yes I am him." He would say as he bowed in almost overtly pompous way as though actual nobility might do so. Although when he heard himself being compared to others of his kind his face was broken as his lips twitched and he sought to regain his composure. "Mm, I'm not like the bio-androids of earth, no as far as my records concern I was the mind child of a demon with a penchant for science and his patron whoever they may be."
He knew bits and pieces of his origin, but not that two of his major dna sources were the demon, and the patron themselves although the other samples were unknown to him at the moment. He held a bit of pride of his status after hearing about the ones made on this planet, and it might've been part of the reason why he wanted to learn about this place to add to his own knowledge and even improve on it. Even with this in mind he found something unsightly about being compared to them although he held his tongue.
As his mnd began to clear he would fly up to meet the demon-saiyan at eye level, he had heard a few things about him from the last transmission he had gotten from Zero and now took the moment to size him up. A smile would crack the creatures lips, and although it would be a bit hard to dechiper at first with his foreign physique he would appear to be excited. His ears being the tell as they perked up and forward towards him.
"Calot, as I've been told, we're mostly here to meet with one another and set up operations to further our shared interests on this....planet." He looked around as he took in the scenery, he did find it satisfactory but he hungered for its knowledge and had already spent plenty of time investigating this particular area. "We're to gain in strength and influence until we are called upon to complete work that will end with us all making more money than this planet is worth."
He spoke with a confidence that said he knew exactly how this would all go, and from his perspective it had as he had seen it done before. While he had only played minor parts before now he was on the forefront of their dealings with a planet and he was eager to climb the ladder knowing how it would benefit his deep hunger for the knowledge of the universe. It was all encompassing in his mind, hardwired into his genetic code as he was meant to grow in knowledge all so he could complete his goal of finding worthy lifeforms so he can assimilate their dna. It had also been a curiousity inherited from the demon whose dna he had within him.
Despite all these unknown factors of him contributing into his hunger he was unaware of some of it, especially that part of him wouldn't be complete until he did so, aggregating not only their bodies but their minds to develop him into something better than his formers. It might've been this inherent fact deep inside of him that gave him the confidence that he spoke with to the man infront of him. "I'm sure that there is much to be gained from us working with one another afterall."
His eyes would finally break away from Calot's for a second as he peered of into the distant wild around them, he knew there was settlements in the area that they could go to and while at first he thought about eating them all he thought of a better idea as he thought of his compatriot. As if a cue his fur would shimmer as the light coursed from the center of his being to the tips of his fur, it arcing off like miniature flares along his body. His energy growing with his excitment and showing as he let out a low laugh that turned into a cackle before he turned to look at him once again.
"We could get a taste of what's to come by visiting some of the people around here." He turned his head in the direction where he knew they'd find others. "Of course you're welcome to keep our conversation in the woods but over there we can find much more things to do."
As he finished his words he tapped his chin waiting to see what Calot would say, while he was a bit excited to go into town and observe the people while maybe stealing some lives and literature while at it. However, this also served as a way of gathering intel on Cal himself, his response, how he interpreted it and how they would act on it would say everything about him. Khyrop couldn't help but do so knowing that it could mean life or death, success or failure, and either way he wanted to have every advantage he could get.
"So, what do you say?" He reiterated as he stopped flapping his wings, slipping into a casual float as he leaned backwards in the air. Bonuses:65% rookie bonus WC: 964 TWC: 1,500 Thread PL: 3,144
