May had gone more than looking for a fight, she had gone on a journey to set things straight. Each bout of anger that was growing with each passing day was becoming increasingly difficult. The rage within ones heart was hard to queel, it rumbled, growled beneath the surface. Moment after moment, gnawing away, devouring what sense of sanity she had left. That nagging sensation was enough to drive anyone to such a point. Your own mind warring against you wasn't very pleasent, well some sicko probably enjoyed it but not Maycair. No, this was a torment, a hell of her own design. The consequence of her actions, her lack of control. This wasn't a linear path, it was a mountain that tried to beat her back. Each climb, each progress step forward lead to two back. This regression was confounding, it need an outlet. Still, sometime, when something was breaking, it was best to let it fall apart, to crumble and better repair.
While thinking of her goal today, she ate these snacks she had recently acquired, they were meant to help her grow. In all honesty she was just a nervous eater. It gave her a chance to think, to go over things. It wasn't the beast therapy, but it did bring comfort. It also gave the safe thought of mind that she would be increasing her strength rather than just putting on weight. They weren't very good either, rather chalky taste. There were more important things to dwell on then the taste of workout snacks.
It was a start, one she was unsure of how to truly make. The only thing in Maycairs mind, was the rattling, raving thoughts of self doubt. Whispers whined, turned into screams enough to deafen her skull. The madness inside was enough, it was enough to cause a crack, a break from within that would start to leak. It was an itch, a desire to fight, to get speak in a way in which words could not convey. That was her desire, it became an all consuming thought, turning her into a zombie. She wasn't even flying, she marched, a soldier heading into the throws of war. It was a terrifying, raising thought, but she had heard of a random militant group in the desert, some even went as far to say as they were building robots, mechs, even androids. It was a world unknown to the hybrid, but personally frightening new confusion would maybe be enough rattle some sense into her. After what she had done to those monks, evene if she didn't start it, sickness grew in her heart.
With laser focus, or maybe dead though, she head forthed, reliving the incident. Sure they were rude, tried to force her out, she could've just taken the abuse. It would have been better for all of them, she was in the wrong for feeling she had any right to take care of herself. That was their home, she was an intruder, she should have just left. No that wasn't enough, the reminder, the helplessness was a major set off. The fuse had been building for weeks, the low energy and lack of relaxtion caused the kettle to boil. It rose, rose and rose until the top would blow off, until everything had turned into red. May wanted nothing more to escape, to become freed from the situation she was in. That was more than enough panic.
That didn't make it right, it wasn't right, no, no, no she wasn't a brute like the saiyans. Justification, guilt, and wrath made it more difficult to forgive herself. No one taught her too, the only thing she was told was she worthless, a failure for the one thing she was born for. She only failed her friends, hurt them, betrayed them. Even if it wasn't a choice it was in her nature, her luck would make it so that everyone that got too close would become her venom, or her theirs. Maycair had to be infuriating, those monks surely thought so. It wasn't healthy, to keep going back to that moment, it was just impossible to process. She was glad to be leaving earth soon, maybe the fresh change of pace would be more than enough for her mindset.
It was going to be a long flight, so it was a wonderful idea to vent her frustration . They were targets that wouldn't breed too much contempt or guilt by the end of work. Violence, it needed to be directed, May needed to feel like it had its' own worth. It was most of her thoughts, the first thing she ever had to herself. It was a core aspect of who Maycair was, it was a motivating aspect for her to find a good use for it. If it couldn't be used properly, if it couldn't be directed to be of assitance then it meant May was bad, it meant she was worthless. Feeling so utterly desperate, and weak, that was a feeling she didn't want. It was something that made her regret earning her own autonomy.
"Its not much of a walk left, lets see if they want to start guns a blazing, or have a bit of negotation." May spoke to herself, teh compound was coming into distance. There didn't seem to roaming guards, but to be far the building seemed to be quite the fortress. It was likely more than well enough equipped with weapons, if they were trully making the things people claimed they were, then that alone would've been more than enough to provide a useful fight. With her weights she wasn't as strong as she hoped, but if was too much she could increase her power. It was always possible the fight could last more than a couple days. That had never happened for her before, but it was possible, that was why she she stocked up on rations. Even before venturing out she had been power bulking meals, hydrating constantly. Earth wasn't nearly as harsh as hell, that didn't mean she didn't need to sustain herself.
The heat was welcomed, made her more comfortable for her walk. The cold was something she couldn't stand, the feeling of her body slowing down, the icy grip of death, now that was scary. It'd be even easier to start warming up once the fighting started. It was always a good workout to get the blood boiling. Thinking about it was starting to distract her, seemed kind of easy when the building was gettiing pretty close. It was a giant in its' own right, May was sure could get bigger on a good night. Though, tonight was not her night. This wasn't a place of safety or sanctuary for her either.
Cameras began to zoom in, winding in on her face, analyzing every single movement and expression. Bullets would even fire away, they hurt but not enough to sway her. The ones that nipped at her toes were probably the most irritating, it was almost like stubbing your toe. The presence she exuded was enough to make them stop, May didn't even need to retaliate yet, the doors would swing open on their own even. Cracking open, a figure would reveal itself, a man not much taller than her, with an armed squad. It was smart to keep himself protected, all together they equaled her strength, the combat gear they were wearing seemed to raise their strength. If she could feel it, May believed they were probably taking some type of stimulant, the armor probably was to help contain or manage it. That was only a hypothesis though, she had no proof, it was just proper planning to prepare for anything.
"State your buisness, we saw your little show quite impressive, this is only a fraction of what I have inside though. Unless you're looking for a job, I'd suggest you crawl back to whatever hole you came from, unless you have something worthy to offer up to us." The man spoke, he was portly, bad pompadour with a cigar in his mouth. Strangely enough, he dressed like a mechanic mixed with a mob boss. Most the clothes he wore seemed to be of fine cloth, a standard black tie suit except for the jacket. A wore down lime green jacket with faded yellow lettering was on his back. It seemed to be of canvas, with the lettering spelling out "L&L Enginnering", with a picture of a lemon and a lime. They must have though they were clever with that design idea. May thought it was funny, it wasn't exactly befitting of a fearsome mercenary group.
"Well you could help me by letting me, I have some agression to let out, I was hoping your guys could show me a bit of a fun time." May spoke up, continuing her rhetoric "Plus I've been looking for a second home, i was hoping I could take this one off of your hands if you don't mind. Sounds like a deal? Deal."
That rather cocky approach was enough to set off the older man. "If you wanna have some quick fun, we can show you right now, you're not getting past that door. Boys, show her what L&L is capapble of." After his command a group of 10 stepped forth, flexing their might. "YESSIR" They were clearly well trained dogs, well taught for taking out those their master set sights on. May wasn't exactly the easiet of people to fight, she liked to play a little more rough than the average man.
Two of them would try to intiate by flanking, from each side an empowered punch would follow,s he would just grab the strikes. Overpowering them, cracking their armor, breaking their hands before they had a chance to pull away, "Ow come on, don't run I thought we we're gonna have fun." With a quick yank, she whipped them both down into the ground. There was definently an oof, and thud but there wasn't time as the other eight still wished to have a turn. After seeing what happened to their friends, they would surround her. With ki blasters, they would fire a volley at her. The strikes added up were definently enough to bruise her up a bit, but the anger was more than enough to ignite the Blight within. Her aura would turn magenta, her eyes following in turn. "Alright, my turn to hit back. Hope you don't mind if I brought some friends." May would say, creating two blight clones beside her.
As the memrory of this combo wasn't very pleasant, it did turn out to be very effective. Her and each clone would fire a Black Hole Bomber, crushing those who still stood in her path. They took the blows pretty well, some cushioning it for their brothers, but any left standing would be left for an even harsher knockout. May would pick up speed, darting around with such ferocity, even beginning to fly around, snapping towrads each one of them. For the four that were left standing, each would feel a tiny blue fist crash into their face. The glass started to bruise her fists near the end, they did have some pretty good protection. It just wasn't enough for the volatile nature of inner rage. Now, was just the big guy, he seeme dpretty confident though,
"Go on in, take what you want, I don't think you're gonna be leaving, I'll see you soon enough young lady." He stepped aside, it was suspicious but he could have been trying to spare his life. "I do plan to see you on my way out, I hope you know sign language I can teach you some new words, a conversation between you and my fists. See you soon." That was a good enough send off for her, the doors seemed reinforced, but May would just burst forward, slamming through them with all of her might. The hinges busted off, but the dooor remained intact. That really was some sturdy material.
After crashing in she looked around, there were some others in the black armor, others who were loading into green and yellow mechs. It seemed the majority were using the machines to build something, a great wyring and grinding from behind. They were building something big, something beast like. She didn't really have the time to see it though, whatever was making the noise was definently moving, it moved qute quick actually. May was unware as a great an heavy metallic fist would crush her into the earth, it wasn't a death blow, it had held back. It was enough to put her in slumber, while people could get close enough to put a power dampening collar on her. The weak really loved using these tools didn't they.
