Appearance
Standing at 6'2'', Derrick might seem like any average looking human, albeit one with dyed pink hair styled into a pompadour. He possesses brown eyes, but typically covers them with black sunglasses. His white skin often times might have a few traces of soot depending on what he's had to do earlier for 'business.' On top of that, Derrick has a tendency to dress in attire that's more formal than normal, opting for white dress shirts and pants, vests, jackets, and even suits on special occasions, usually sticking to the colors white, black, gold, and pink. He's typically seen smoking a cigar if the occasion allows it.
Personality
Greedy: Perhaps one of Derrick's more infamous traits is his greed for any and all material wealth. One of the major reasons he started up the Dirty Snakes is to more efficiently source funds for his own personal use through illegal methods. He sees no moral qualms in stealing from other rich folk, seeing it as a battle of one's resources against another, and he just comes out on top more often.
Negotiable: Derrick is always looking to get his way in the very end, but that doesn't always mean he isn't willing to give something to others. He's a solid negotiator, and is more than willing to cut deals with just about anybody so long as there's something real special for himself or for his organization.
Intelligent: Many wouldn't get far into this line of work without some form of intelligence. Derrick's deduction and analysis abilities allows him many opportunities to see the best course of action in many situations, though this intelligence is mostly reserved for outside of fighting, as he's still got quite a bit to learn in that department specifically.
Honest: Though he can be rather deceptive in appearances, Derrick isn't one to back out on his end of bargains unless he is forced to. His honesty is a rare trait among criminals, albeit it can be quite blunt and brutal in the wrong circumstances.
Loyal: Derrick possesses a strong loyalty to business partners, close friends, and members of the Dirty Snakes. Unless said members have crossed the line, Derrick refuses to do anything that would put those he trusts into extreme danger unless they're more than willing to do so. He has yet to double cross an individual he has once called a true friend.

History
Derrick Ottoy was born in the slums of North City. He was abandoned by his parents and left behind at a nearby orphanage, who gladly took him in. Despite growing up in an orphanage that could barely afford basic needs, Derrick grew to love all of the people within. However, that all changed when at the prime age of 12 a handful of gangsters one day started harassing one of the other boys from the orphanage. Derrick rushed to the boy's defense, and discovered his ability to create pink fire from his hands, severely burning the gangsters and forcing them to retreat.
Unfortunately for Derrick, the gangsters have returned with more backup, and planned to burn down the entire orphanage. The gangsters specifically wanted vengeance on the one who burned them, so they gathered chemicals that could change the fire’s color to pink, and used it against the building. Derrick tried to help put out the fire, but it spread too far, and the orphanage was burned down to the ground. Everyone survived the encounter, but the other children immediately turned on Derrick, and Derrick ran away from it all. The gangsters once again corner him, but were careless in attempting to capture him, as so three of the nine men perished that night. For the next 10 years, Derrick hunts down the remaining six members to enact his vengeance against the men who ruined his life. He was left all alone to fend for himself now...
At the age of 22, Derrick became rather notorious throughout North City, and was eventually picked up by a gang known as the Dirty Snakes. At first, it was all about bank heists and shady deals, all of which went by without a hitch due to Derrick’s fire powers. However, the man felt as if his talents were being wasted by these pathetic excuses for criminals, and Derrick plots to seize power from his boss. With the help of a second gang known as the Renegades, Derrick leaks information as to the boss’ whereabouts, and his new pals take care of the former leader. Derrick assumes the position of Dirty Snakes Boss, and his first order of business was the complete removal of anyone loyal to the original boss. The size of the Dirty Snakes was cut almost in half that day, but it would be the foundation for something far greater than what the original boss had in mind.
As for Derrick’s second order, he sought the complete eradication of the Renegades, as they not only possess a dangerous connection with the Snakes, but also stand as a threat to the gang’s expansion. By the time Derrick was 24, the Renegades were mercilessly wiped from existence, and the criminal underworld of North City was thrown in disarray with the sudden power vacuum. Even with this newfound power, Derrick still wanted more, and made plans to expand operations to the other cities. By the age of 28, Derry has successfully gained control of a small portion of North City's criminal underworld. The gang now delved into all sorts of gigs, including robbery, assassinations, loan sharking, and mercenary work, but even then it wasn’t enough for Derrick. He sought to expand his operations to space, but needed to do so without attracting too much attention from other outside organizations like the USD and the Red Ribbon Army, but to do that, he needed some stronger allies, both those who wouldn’t mind working with him, and those who would unknowingly play into his hand.
For the next 4 years, Derrick would go around seeking fighters worthy of working alongside him and assist him in further expanding the Dirty Snakes’ reach, with the goal of raking in as much cash as he can. With his fellow gangsters by his side, Derry continues to lurk in the shadows, keeping away from the jurisdiction of the USD and Red Ribbon Army as best as he can, slowly gaining more and more notoriety as time marches forward.

Roleplay Sample
Inside the dingy, dark headquarters of the Dirty Snakes lies an office far more uptight and clean compared to the rest of the facility. With extravagantly designed carpets, bookshelves lining the walls, and ornate chairs for guests to sit at, it was more than enough to please the boss of the Dirty Snakes. The air stank of tobacco as Derrick, leader of the Snakes, sat behind his desk and gazing over the various papers strewn about on his desk, catching up on some of his more recent dealings from other neighboring criminal organizations. He constantly mumbles the words of the pages underneath his breath between each draw of his cigar until the doors suddenly swing open, catching the boss' attention.
"How many times do I have to tell ya bozos to knock first before coming into my..." he goes on for a bit until he realizes what exactly his men have dragged in, carrying what appear to be three men with cloth bags tied around their heads, thrashing around and trying to escape their clutches. The gangsters hold the three men down and force them onto their knees in front of the desk as a fourth gangster moves the chairs in front of Derrick's desk to give him a better view as to what he is presented with. "Alright, fine. What do we have here this time?"
"We got ourselves a few snoopers 'ere, boss," the fourth henchman confirms, "and we have reason to believe that one of 'em might be from the government. He got some fancy papers on 'em, but we can't read 'em." He hands to papers over to his boss, who in turn looks over what's written on it. It was just filled with a whole bunch of garbled and out of order letters, which was a telltale sign that he was dealing with some sort of cipher. Whoever it was that was looking around Snakes territory, Derrick knew it couldn't be good. "Well, which one had the papers?" The gangster points over at the man on Derrick's right, and with a wave of his hand, the boss responds, "Take 'em down under. I'm sure some of the boys will have fun trying to pull information outta him." The criminal holding down the man on the right pulls the victim upright and forces him out of the office, the man screaming for help as he takes his leave.
"Well, are the other two with that guy?" The gangers standing near Derry shakes his head, stating, "Seems like the three o' them were in some sort of scuffle. Not too sure about their association. We asked 'em, but they refused to answer." Derrick takes another look at them before demanding, "Remove the bags. They'll want to see this." Like clockwork, the remaining two gangsters suddenly yank the tight bags off of the two kneeling men, now facing the boss of the Dirty Snakes. Derrick gets out from his office chair and walks on over towards the two men, already beginning to gather pink flames in the palm of his right hand.
"Save yourselves a lotta trouble if ya just talk, ya know," he begins as he approaches the middle man, inching his fiery palm close and closer to him. "I ain't got shit to tell ya," he blurts out, causing Derrick to pause for but a mere moment. He raises a single eyebrow before extinguishing the flames in his palm, allowing his hand to rest on the victim's shoulder. "You're in good company, sir. I'd suggest that you'd be a bit more respectful. All I need is what you were doing 'round these here parts, and-" the man suddenly spits in Derrick's direction, landing right on the boss' right cheek. The two gangsters hold their breath in shock and fear of what may happen next, to which Derrick asks the gangster currently standing above him, "Take him 'round back. I think I'll have some personal fun with this one."
As the second man was being dragged away from the office, shouting expletives all the way, Derry's attention towards the third and final man. "I think you get the idea at this point, so let's cut to the chase." "Look man, all I got on me is a wallet I stole from some lady, and then I bumped into those two creeps. Look, please, I didn't-" "That's good right there," Derrick interrupts. He looks up at the third gangster and asks him, "Look over him for a bit. See if he's legitimate in his alibi. Maybe get 'em some work. Otherwise, get 'em outta my sight." With another wave of his hand, Derry shoos the third gangster and criminal away, leaving just him and the last remaining Dirty Snake. "I want ya to take two boys and investigate the scene. Make sure we left no stone unturned." The remaining gangster nods and swiftly exits the office, shutting the doors closed right behind them. Now all that was left was to get back to the papers and smoke away, two things the boss knew that he was good at.
