Ki sword VS torch baton. The battle that ensued forged onward like a raging fire, with neither combatant able to get the upper hand. Every time Quash tried to land a hit on the crazy cat lady, she managed to twirl her torch to block it. In the same sense, every time she swung her fiery weapon to clock the Saiyan Captain, he was there to block it with his blade. The ebb and flow of their duel seemed to block out all distractions, making it seem as though the two of them were the only ones present.

Obstacles became irrelevant. Their battle burst through fences and walls of houses, through windows and around doorways, up and down flights of stairs, and even across the shingle-lined rooftops. People in their path were flown and strewn around like ragdolls, which Didgeridoo managed to observe as he tried to navigate through the crowd to safety. It almost seemed like people were just appearing out of thin air, because no matter which way he turned, there was always more of a crowd.

As he escorted Jonathan to safety, the battle between Quash and Old Lady spilled out in front of him. Didgeri ducked under Quash's blade, which chopped the hair off the head of some man, then dove to avoid getting smacked by the twirling torch of the old lady, which caught a woman on fire, who ran around squealing until she dove into the sewer geysers to put it out. Meanwhile, the Namekian landed on his detached arm, which softened the blow, but it still wasn't very fun given the injuries he'd sustained from earlier. Didgeridoo rolled onto his back and looked down where he'd cradled the kitten, glad to see he was still okay. Well, glad for the time being. The safety of the cat only mattered to Didgeridoo because he felt like Quash would kill him if anything happened to it, followed by some crazy cat voodoo resurrection by the old lady so she could kill him herself.

Didgeridoo tried to scramble back to his feet, but the Old Lady and Quash were right on top of him. Literally. Still unable to get an advantage one way or another, the old lady stomped down as she lashed out an attack toward Quash. It just so happened that she stomped on Didgeri's stomach, causing him to physically recoil and toss the kitten straight up into the sky. Both the old lady and Didgeri gasped and cried out, "No!" As Jonathan soared through the air.

Fueled by newfound purpose, Didgeridoo hopped to his feet and did his best to get a hold of the kitten. Just as he felt the feline land in his hand, the old lady smacked them and sent the kitten back into the sky. This time, when it came back down, she got a hold of it, but Didgeri smacked the cat upwards again. Suddenly, the cat had become a hot potato.

Fortunately, the scuffle didn't last long, because Quash managed to smack the old woman in the face with the flat of his sword. She flew through the crowd, dragging a bunch of the neighbors with her through the front door of a house. With Jonathan secured again, Didgeri moved close to Quash and yelled over the commotion, "You need to finish her off so we can get out of here and so I never have to see you again!" He grabbed his loose arm and threw it back over his shoulder, "I say we find her house and free the other monsters she's got stowed away in there. If we set them loose on this mob, they'll probably all run away in terror and we can make it out of here Scott-free,"

Off in the direction Quash had sent the woman, an angry roar sounded, loud enough to shake the very ground the two aliens stood on. A malicious energy radiated, but with the crowd blocking them, Didgeridoo had no idea what it was. Suddenly, a second roar sounded. He looked to Quash in confusion, then back in the direction of the roar just in time to see the entire house crumble as a giant creature burst through the roofing and siding. Somehow, the crazy cat lady had actually become a giant cat monster!

She swatted a few of the neighbors out of the way, who screamed out as they flew through the streets. Even with the beast stalking toward Quash and Didgeri, the rest of the mob didn't care. People in the old lady's path were flicked aside, but they still continued mobbing the two neighborhood crashers instead. Didgeridoo patted his newfound ally on the shoulder and reassured, "You got this, I'll go free the beasts," With that, Didgeridoo disappeared into the crowd, aimlessly walking towards houses to see if there were any pets inside that he could set loose.

Back on the old lady front, she growled towards Quash. Her buff old woman persona had been replaced by a two-story tall lion-like monster, which radiated a sporadic red aura. With Quash in her sights, she lunged at the Saiyan with her massive fangs, ready to swat at him with her large claws if she saw even the slightest of openings.
