Though he hoped his loud steps up the ramp would go rather unnoticed, it appeared that his hopes wouldn't quite be the case. He dreaded the thought of dragging out this goodbye and longer than he had too. He wasn't good at this stuff, dealing with his emotions on this scale wasn't something he was accustomed too and dragging it out just made it quite a bit more difficult. It was hard to contain himself when the pressure was applied by the others, their words had been left open and without much of a response, the aching pain drawing out further was he tried to muster the strength to reply with how he truly felt but he knew it was best that he kept to himself. He couldn't rely on others like that, not now, not with his life and future being so uncertain.
Whether his movement was that noticeable or the sounds of his heavy footsteps pressing down upon the metal ramp gave him away, he heard the voices of the others addressing him. First it was Ayu, she had simply told him to be careful and his ocean blue eyes had locked with hers. He didn't feel the need to say anything to this, he had simply given her a nod of his head confirming that he'd do his best. He really didn't expect to run into any dangers soon, especially with Yardrat being such a peaceful place but reassuring her didn't hurt a thing.
Zerori had a little bit more to say and though he would have liked to make a comment, there wasn't much left to be said. He wasn't going to get lost and she already knew that, she was probably just trying to lighten the mood. Though he last statement, he simply acknowledged with a nod. He'd be back, though he didn't quite know how long something like that would have taken, he knew it was going to be the end result. With that thought in mind, Athren really didn't want to waste much more time here, he was eager to leave and get away from all of this, from the place where he had suffered is biggest defeat.
He put his attention back towards his footsteps going up the ramp and not before long it sealed shut behind him, he made his way into the control area of the ship and began programming the trip to Yardrat and it wasn't before long that the shifts thrusters would activate and lift the ship up and off the ground and take it out of sight and off Planet.
Athren would now be free to be left alone with his thoughts, he had to get it together. Though it was going to be difficult, he didn't have much of a choice to force himself to get through it. He had to be ready for what was to come next, hopefully he could find peace in his training but even that was a long shot. Who knew how he'd get through this?

It might have sounded a bit too much... But Ayu would be forever grateful that the tears and her moment of weakness weren't simply brushed aside. Zerori embraced her, even if it was only for a short while, stroking her back, trying to comfort her - and that was enough. Sometimes in this big wide world when Ayu tried to do the best thing, she was forgetting about herself, forgetting that sometimes even she could use a bit of reassurance.
She glanced at the mounds. Ayu wasn't sure it would be brighter or better, just... She wanted to honor the memory of two children sleeping quietly under the ground. Glancing to the side, she turned away, again trying to give those two a bit of privacy. It wasn't long as they said their last words and it was clear now that it was time for all of them to leave. The respects were paid and tears were shed, so perhaps, with less heavy souls they all could focus on the next step. Whatever it would be...
"Take care," she said her goodbyes again both to Zerori and Athren, watching as they moved away. The trees rustled gently around them. One person was leaving the planet, the other was going in the direction she only knew... And that was it. There was no point in stopping anyone or talking more because what else there was to do? Ayu couldn't comfort them anymore and they all were determined to take on the next task. Her yellow eyes focused again on the flowers she created, quietly listening to footsteps moving away. But what was there for her to do..? Go back home and wait for the next day. As the ship's vault closed, the dark-haired woman stopped for a moment, looking back at Ayu, warning her... A bit surprised by the sudden words, she moved her head to carefully look at the silhouette. Zerori's voice wasn't dry or serious, she couldn't go as far as to call it caring, but there sure was something there. Warning... Or was it a simple wish for her to be more mindful of her surroundings and others in her life?
She was about to open her mouth but stopped, only silently nodding her head. No words could be found to say anything or thanks for the warning. Zerori soon left, disappearing in the distant sky. Just a second later the sound of the turbines roaring in the nearby ship sent a strong gust of wind around, messing up her braid and clothes. The branches and grass bowed and rustled. Ayu raised her arms, shielding herself from the dust and sharp current, while the ship raised from the ground, quickly leaving the area. The wind calmed down. In less than a blink of an eye, Athren's ship was nothing more but a point on a horizon, that quickly vanished from her field of view.
Everything was so quiet now. No voice, no weeping, no rustling of leaves, only a very tranquil air and silence - even nature knew better than to make unnecessary noise.
Ayu was left alone in the place that was marked by the fight, despair, and fresh graves. It wouldn't be a nice view to return to... Slowly looking around, she raised her hand. Ayu made the vines tidy up the area a bit for anything that shouldn't be there, grass growing over the scorned and grazed soil, the broken trees sprouting anew - making this place look like nothing happen. Almost. The young woman looked at the flower mounds with a heavy heart. Would they mind if she would visit here once in a while? Flowers won't wither, but if Ayu would come here to pay respect every now and then... With Athren already away from this planet, only she and Zerori were aware of who was sleeping on this quiet side of the mount. Someone has to make sure this place stays untouched by careless hands.
It was too quiet...
She could hardly tell how long she was standing there, but with a deep breath and last two tears, Ayu turned around and begin to descend from mount Paozu.
