In the wilderness, Plasma was minding his own business as he traversed the forest and green life – crossing felled trees across lakes and rivers, skipping from stone to stone and flying onto trees to rest and watch the horizon. Rattling the wildlife that was living within the tree that Plasma sat atop of, he would grab the tip of the tree and violently shake it – which sent acorns and every other little clinging to dear life creature down on the ground. Whilst Plasma was watching the spectacle, he’d stop after a brief moment as something caught his attention in the distance.
Ceasing the rattling with utmost quickness, Plasma let go off the tip with one hand and raised his free hand up against his forehead to shield his eyes from the sun as he squinted. In the distance, he spotted something similar to a group of people, albeit with some unfinished obstacle near them. Unsure at first as to what it was, Plasma squinted even harder as his eagle sight enhanced with great detail till, he could make out it was a construction plot! Licking his lips as he swung himself back down and landed on a thick branch, Plasma pondered as to what exactly they were building – was it a hut, a station or something else entirely for the people out hiking to use?
Remaining idle for a few minutes as Plasma contemplated whether to fly over there and check it out or not, he continued dropping down from each branch – swinging and jumping like that of a monkey in the woods. Allowing himself to drop towards the end, Plasma’s boots touched the ground with a loud sound that caused the fallen leaves on the ground to blow away due to his momentum. Glancing to his left and right before dashing forward, Plasma zoomed through the forest – jumping over rocks, boulders and critters that were scattered all around. Ensuring that he wasn’t the cause for any sudden loss of life due to the speed he was running, Plasma leaped into the air and took flight towards the construction plot – surprising every worker present that were insanely stressed from the schedule they were lacking behind of.
Shifting his look from each of the workers present, as each worker composed himself due to the surprise of Plasma’s presence and questionable appearance – there would be a momentary but awkward essence in the air that lingered. Unsure as to how to react still, the workers stared in silence whilst exchanging confused looks to each other – which Plasma used the opportunity to look at tall the gathered and stacked material that these people had all around the construction plot. Walking over towards the stacked blocks of concrete or whatever those hardened blocks were, Plasma moved his hand across one of them to feel the rugged surface – at least till one of the workers politely asked him to stop before he broke anything, as they were already behind.
Plasma turned his head to look in the direction of the guy who seemed to be the supervisor present and politely inquired through his improved speech and etiquette what the lot were building – which surprised the men. They hadn’t expected that Plasma was capable of such features at all, nor were they any to dodge since Earth had become a hub for numerous alien species from all around the universe! Pondering for a moment as Plasma wriggled his index finger to gesture the Supervisor should come close – he’d comply! Plasma slowly hovered upwards, which briefly shocked the fellow, but convinced him to show him the constructions plans for whatever they were building here – which turned out to be a little centre for people that were hiking in the wild woods! Plasma saw this as a mighty tempting opportunity to do something good and assist people – as this would mean that anyone in the future would have a safe haven if anything was to occur or required directions in the future. Plasma dropped down onto the floor and walked towards the numerous planks of wood that the men had prepared for construction – albeit without the necessary equipment to genuinely put this into work with their small timeframe. Glancing towards the plot for the last time, Plasma offered his very optimistic assistance which caused the supervisor to jokingly accept the offer due to the small frame of Plasma – who was most likely joking by the looks of it. However, he would soon find himself to be disproven as Plasma picked up all kinds of material and told the man to keep the plan visible so Plasma could keep track of everything.
Fulfilling the position of both construction worker, machine and everything in between, Plasma would accelerate the plot insanely fast as he zoomed back and forth, installing, implementing and securing all bits of construction piece into place. He’d be catching up hours of works in minutes, and days of works in hours as the android worked as hard and fast as he could without breaking the equipment at hand. There was however also excavation work required, which the android has a specialty in due to his claw-like hands and ability to move great amounts of weight around insanely quickly and efficiently. Plasma occasionally stopped up at times to refer to the supervisor how he wanted the specifics, if anything needed to be changed – he’d also hover towards the fellow to lift him around to offer him a different perspective on things due to the lack of equipment.
Momentarily satisfied with the piece of work, Plasma would take out a foldable chair alongside the other excavation workers and enjoy a brief lunch break with the complete strangers he had just met a few hours ago. Everyone were in an absolutely great mood due to the progress they had managed to catch up on, and the presence of Plasma who had ensured that they would remain within schedule and keep their jobs for the foreseeable future. Sandwiches were exchanged, and Plasma was offered one sandwich from each of the guys due to his hard work, which he greatly appreciated. Whilst the lot exchanged words and banter, Plasma would close his eyes for a couple of minutes to regain some energy – which went by insanely quick, and then their break was over. Returning to the spots, Plasma stepped back after another round of hard work and examined the hard work alongside the other workers – and the supervisor raised his plans to see whether everything fit so far.
Indeed it did, and now the last remaining part was simply painting everything over – specifically the interior – for a crispy and proper look. Plasma hadn’t encountered paint in buckets before, which came as a surprise as the men took out buckets upon buckets out of their van and placed it down before Plasma, who couldn’t help but stick a finger in it to taste it. They tried to stop him, but Plasma was too quick and quickly spat it out as the taste was horrendous, At least he didn’t swallow the paint, which could had been an issue for any normal fellow! Equipped with his painting tool, Plasma observed the men hard at work as they painted back and forth on the same spot at least twice to ensure a proper coat on the structure!
Certain of how to work around this detail, Plasma flew upwards and began painting in the same fashion as the others – mimicking their experience and the desired paint at location. It’d be a vibrant and powerful looking centre for anyone in the future as the people stepped back and examined the completed building – a building the lot thought they would never be capable of finishing, but here came Plasma who finished it in but hours with the men! It was a wonderful experience, and the last part that was needed to complete the work was to plant a giant pole in the ground just out front from the centre. Following that, as Plasma used his hands once more to dig the hole, and the pole was planted before being filled with concrete to secure its position in the ground. It would be plenty of meters deep this hole, but it wasn’t an issue for Plasma who managed to dig it in mere minutes.
Entirely done with the work at hand, Plasma shook hands with the constructions workers that all could return home with a calm mind and peace at heart due to not failing the project. Plasma, satisfied with his work, left the lot as he waved them goodbye and returned to the woods from where he had come. Happy, and at peace with himself for the time being, Plasma lingered in the forest to examine his work from afar.
Keeping a careful eye as the people entered their vehicles and left the area, Plasma would remain put on a branch and simply appreciate his work for the hours to come – even during the rain.
A sole day passed, and the people would once more return – and Plasma was still there – to examine the construction work but this time with the boss. Plasma dropped down from the tree and ran towards the lot, who were more than happy to see that Plasma was still around – and the boss was quite happy too to see the fellow who had ensured the deadline was reached. Exchanging a handshake with the leader, Plasma abruptly left as his work was entirely done now – and off he was, into the woods once more!
