Main City. It was where the android had managed to scurry off to in these trying times with warfare on one side of the planet, factions on the other side and a toast in the middle. There wasn’t legitimately a toast in the middle before the bio-android, but Plasma was starving – and that starvation had to be staved off somehow unless it wanted to eat wood. Plasma remained on the outskirts of the city, planning a route as it sat on the grass overlooking the city with a careful eye. It rested its head on its fist as it began pulling the blades of grass – pondering as to what was the optimal route to bypass any problematic. Raising both of its hands up to its eyes to form ‘binoculars’ Plasma scouted ahead and found the path it had been searching for. The Library. There were almost no one these days bothering with the giant building that had all sorts of books. Plasma had seen what the people were up to these days, and it was never taught how to read – so that option was out of the window, but it could teach itself with its prime intelligence that its changeling DNA granted it. Dropping onto all four and suppressing its power level, Plasma crawled vertically down the hill it had been sitting on and hurried off with insane speed. This was its optimal way of travelling since its legs and height were shorter than a kid around the age of twelve. Anyhow, scurrying forward to the entrance of the city, Plasma waddled through the bushes and shrubbery to remain out of sight – something that was decently unnecessary due to its similarity to Changelings, minus the numerous grey dots spread across its skin and the midnight-carapace of pecs it had. Glancing around as it stood up on both of its back legs, Plasma placed its hands against the surface of the library and crawled upwards onto one of the windows and onto the roof. There – it crawled forward till it found a ventilation shaft and promptly squeezed itself inside with ease to enter the interior of the building. There was quite the ‘bumbling’ noise coming from the vents as Plasma did so due to the banging of its shoulder-pads, but there wasn’t any real harm done! Finding the hatch that had screws in, Plasma used its elongated sharp nail to unscrew the corks and slid it aside to then drop down into the knowledgeable depths of the library. Here – it would scurry off to the personnel’s area and directly for the fridge housing the employee’s sandwiches. Plasma’s power level jumped for a moment as it utilized its speed, but it was as quickly gone as it had occurred. Now, it hurried back and sat on one of the chairs in the back and munched on its sandwich before opening one of the books that were on the table upside down for a flavourful read of absolute gibberish as it kept munching on the chicken sandwich. Sure - it wasn't Plasma's sandwich, but it was the alternative it had found to eating people. Something that wasn't entirely socially acceptable these days, but who knew what it would be in the future? Plasma didn't know of it, nor did it now a whole lot inside of its giant head - simply due to never having encountered something it would require its intellect for. He was less than a year old - and that phrasing 'he' was something it read in a book. He learns something new everyday, and this was one of the words. Besides - Plasma wasn't harming anyone as it remained put on its chair and dangled its tiny legs whilst appearing as a miniature dotted Changeling that had escaped elementary school. Plasma was simply as innocently and blissfully ignorant of the reality that was its biological makeup, but surely it wouldn't come to judgment if anyone passed by. Plasma munched down on the sandwich once more before turning a page in the upside book about biology and gorillas - something like that. Sliding down from its chair, Plasma walked towards one of the bookshelves as it left the book behind at the table to pick up another. The book this bio-android picked out was something about the different races of the galaxy, specifically Earthling biology. Perhaps by reading this it could learn a bit about itself since it was from this planet? He at least thought he was from here, but who knew - Plasma didn't. Its little endeavor for figuring out where and what it was came to a disappointing end however as Plasma returned to its chair to open the book and glance at the pictures present. Sighing to himself, Plasma took another bite of his 'borrowed' sandwich as none of the pictures inside of the book were AT ALL similar to whatever he was. At this point, Plasma was simply looking at the numerous pictures as it ate its sandwich out of sadness.

Tabu rubbed at his eyes and leaned back in his wooden chair, cursing softly at its small size. This repository of knowledge the Earthlings called a “library” was extensive to be sure, but it was sadly lacking in furniture that comfortably fit his 7 foot frame. Thankfully, he wasn’t here to evaluate the the furnishings (as much as it was needed). The Namekian gently turned the page of the aged tome, old paper crackling as it moved. Tabu had found this spellbook in a far corner of the massive building while he was perusing the collection for something to give him mor of an understanding of the planet he temporarily called home. Once Tabu disabled a couple of the nastier traps that the book had been laced with, he had been pleasantly surprised to discover a quite advanced collection of spells. The power behind them was a little bit lacking for his purposes, but the theory and flow of magical energy behind them was beyond anything he had seen outside of the Dragon Clan training manuals. Indeed, there was something…familiar about the spells, something he couldn’t quite place. It was almost as if…… There was a loud boom as Tabu suddenly closed the book and quickly stood, tucking it in a pocket of his robes. He then proceeded to the counter, where a bored-looking earthling librarian perked up as the seven-foot goliath strode confidently towards his post. She swallowed deeply. “G-good afternoon. May I h-help you sir?” “I want this book please. Name your price.”
Tabu stated in a tone that was not to be argued with, retrieving the ancient book, and tossing it negligently on the counter. The woman took the book, eyeing with a professional eye. Some sort of scanning device seemed to appear in her hand as if by magic, letting loose a soft beep as she pulled up the book’s info on the screen. She frowned, “That’s odd, it doesn’t appear to be in our system at all.” The woman said, before shrugging, “A-anyways I can’t just sell you the book, that's not how this works. Not to mention I would get..in….trouble.” She finished, before cringing backward as Tabu’s face began to resemble that of a stormcloud. “YoucanlookatitaslongasyoulikethoughIreallydon’tmind”
Sighing, Tabu began walking back toward his previous seat, tossing the tome from hand to hand. The worst part was that he couldn’t even be mad at this, it only made sense not to allow random strangers to take knowledge out of your collection. Such a commitment to preserving knowledge was something drilled into the Namekian’s very soul, and he had to respect it. I guess I’ll just memorize as much as I can and then come back whenever I need to. No reason to cause a big scene until I’m ready to leave this mudball, especially with all of the powerhouses that have been flying around lately. However, when the Namekian returned to his table, he found it occupied by some…..thing. It looked like someone had taken a adult Changeling and squashed it down until it somewhat resembled an insect. It was quite the amusing sight, and strangely didn’t radiate a ki that was anywhere near Tabu’s level of power. The Namekian found that quite odd, weren’t all Changelings extremely strong since birth? It was a mystery to be investigated for sure. “Excuse me.”The Namekian muttered, brushing past the strange creature, and sitting down a short distance away, body turned toward Plasma but not overtly hostile. And while a part of Tabu’s mind was focused on deciphering the archaic formulas present in the tome, another was examining the strange being in minute detail. Scanning, searching, hunting for any hint of a threat. WC: 626 TWC: 626 PL: 7,961

Plasma had enjoyed the time spent alone, pondering the mythological descriptions inside of his upside-down book with numerous pictures – it was a true joy for the android to observe such delicate details on the biological makeup of the numerous species that wandered this world. Shifting through the pages, Plasma grew impatient by the minute as he continued to skip through the pages in search of something specific by the looks of it. Plasma’s pale hand arose to scratch his crownlike head as it grumbled in displeasure, audibly enough. His smaller stature, which was like a changeling, stood out however due to the numerous spotted bits on his bio-armour, not to mention the blackened chitin-like appearance that covered his pecs. It was not the end of it however as the creature’s odd appearance continued to shift expectations that had been laid upon it. Whilst every other changeling had a tail sprouting out the back of their waist – Plasma’s tail sprouted from his back – at the middle of the spine, and the tip seemed to have an opening at the end of it, not to mention the to spikes poking out at his shoulder blades. His lower body seemed normal enough as he kicked his miniature legs onto the table and rotated the upside-down book sixty degrees, seemingly interpretating the book better this way. Now, there was the oddity about his feet – or rather boots? There were not any toes to see on his foot at all, but rather genuine boots – fitted to look sweet by alien standards. Grey armour and pale skin, Plasma was enjoying himself as his crimson eyes scanned the pictures. Now – there was just a small problem, just a minor green problem that could be solved with a bit of salt, and that was the Namekian excusing himself as he brushed past Plasma. He’d bite down on his sandwich, consuming the rest of it in one whole chomp. Shutting his book shut, Plasma sniffed the air as he smelt another lunch, but he also smelt and noticed with his keen sensing abilities that the Namekian was right behind him – with the front turned towards him. Squinting his eyes dramatically, Plasma placed his book on the table and slowly turned ninety degrees in his chair, his small feet dangling off the side, before he dropped onto the floor. With his full height, Plasma was shorter than the chair itself and he’d stare at the Namekian – or rather his magical book of children’s drawings in Plasma’s eyes. Whilst Plasma’s entire mannerism and build was not threatening at all or offering any signs of hostility, the creature rather gave off an impression of curiosity and whatnot. "WHAT ARE YOU, GREEN-MAN? YOU FROM EE-ARTH? OR? YOU FROM SPACE?" Plasma questioned with a cheery tone at the Namekian before hovering off the floor and posing a dramatic flamingo pose that it had seen in its book. "SEEN ME BEFORE? LOST A FRIDGE?" He'd follow up with - rather specific yet odd about the fridge part. "WHAT YOU READING?"

The more Tabu examined the strange creature, the more confused he became. While it did strongly resemble a Changeling in appearance, it felt like somebody had seen one and tried to recreate it from memory rather than having the genuine article before them. For starters, it was far smaller than any changeling Tabu had ever encountered, barely reaching the height of the chair it sat whereas most of the lizards achieved at least a middling height in their first form. It had the bio-armor and bio-gem of a regular changeling of course, but the bulbous sack on its back and its strangely-shaped feet were not at all normal. Maybe it’s one of their young? A mutant perhaps? Curious
While the Namekian idly watched his fellow-library goer, another part of his sharp mind was consumed with the book before him. He began rapidly flipping through the pages, alternating between sounds of disgust and passing interest. Despite his gruff exterior and short temper, Tabu was a mage of no small amount of skill back on Namek, which made it so surprising that such a rudimentary tome could have any surprises for him. Precious few species the Namekian had come across on his travels even had the capability to wield magic, let alone as proficiently as a race that had the ability baked into their very soul through their bond with the Eternal Dragon. Indeed, the mind behind the spellcraft he saw was worth tracking down, if he or she still lived. With all the powerhouses he had encountered lately, Tabu had been looking for a way to create some offensive spells with a little more oomph behind them, perhaps this was his ticket in?
Flipping to the back of the tome, Tabu found the address from which the book had been sent to this library, and wrote it down on a scrap of paper he tucked into his waistband. In his haste to depart, he had almost forgotten about the strange changeling-like creature a few feet away, and nearly jumped out of his skin as its over-load voice crashed against his ears. Wincing, Tabu rubbed at one of his ears tenderly, “Space. An origin I suppose you share?” Tabu bluntly questioned, taking a careful step backward from the curious creature. While he didn’t especially fear attack with the way it was acting, the lack of ki radiating from its body was more than enough to put him on guard. The Namekian had known those among the Hydra clan that were able to increase and decrease their power output at will, perhaps this creature possessed a similar ability?
“A fridge? What does a fridge have to do with anything? And no I’ve never seen you before in my life.” Tabu said, unconsciously clutching the spellbook to his side. The last thing he wanted was for the diamond he had found among the Changeling shit to be taken away. “As for my book, nothing interesting I’m afraid. Just some light reading I’m doing before I get back to training. How about you? That picture book looks….amusing.” Tabu said awkwardly, gesturing at Plasma’s own book. For all of the Namekian’s many strengths, he had one critical weakness: an inability to talk to children.

Plasma's energetic nature was momentarily subsided as it watched the Namekian explain himself and act all funnily before him with that specific book in tow. There was also the part about noting something down which the android kept a close eye on out of habit as he perked his own 'eyebrow' inquisitively. Plasma's pale fingers began impatiently tapping against his wrist guard as he read the Namekian's expression and tone to be specific. Raising his own hand to his chin to inquisitively and wisely rub it - Plasma looked at the fellow whilst deep in thought, slowly nodding at the blunt question that he returned to Plasma with. However, the android shook his head instead of verbally answering it. Plasma took a single step forward as the Namekian took a step back. Spooky. Sure, Plasma was a bit too eager to approach this stange looking fellow that was not at all present in his biology book with lots of pictures, but it did cause a little smile from the android as he nodded about his book being interesting! There was however one small issue - and that was Plasma being too eager to discover what the creature before him was, despite everything the two had briefly spewed at each other. " SHOW BOOK! SHOW BOOK! YOU MAKE MANY NOISES READING IT! VERY INTRIGUING! MORE INTRIGUING THAN MY BOOK - MY BOOK NO EXPLAIN WHAT I AM." Plasma 'inquired' as he pointed with his index finger at the Namekian as a large grin was plastered across his face.
Apart from that, there was obviously the large size difference - which Plasma was not a fan of! It was somewhat rude to the android as he began lessening the dampening effect on his power level - rising up to the three thousand. His feet would hover above the ground and his entire body would fly upwards till he was the same height as the Namekian. It was getting pretty intriguing for the android as he could sense that this fellow wasn't the ordinary Earthlign - primarily due to his antennas.
"WHAT RACE YOU ARE? I WANT TRAIN WITH YOUR RACE. LOOK SMART. PLASMA NEEDZ SMERTS. NEEDZ LOTS OF SMERTZ." The Android further inquired and 'demanded' playfully as his body tilted forward into a laying position. His front was facing the ground whilst his legs were crossed behind him and his head was kept up by his two hands - he was still looking directly at the Namekian.
Still, there appeared to be nothing hostile about the figure apart from his eagerness to interact with the Namekian and interrupt him in his little endeavor to escape with a questionable book from the questionable library that did not have said book in its systems. "YOU ARE SMERT LOOKING. VERY SMERT. YOU MIND? I HELP YOU, YOU HELP ME - WE HAVE LOTS OF FUN. TRAIN TOO! TRAIN LOTS - TRAIN LIKE CALLION DO SOMETIME! HONOR AND KINDNESS, TEMPERATE BIG WORDS - RECYCLE WHAT HE SAY, BUT I UNDERSTAND"
Plasma kept gibbering out as he maintained his lax position - but not before rotating to the right till he was up-side down and then upside once more. There was lots of energy inside the android, perhaps a bit too much. "OH. AND ORIGIN. BEEP BOOP PLACE. LOTS OF LIGHTS AND BEEPS." Now, Plasma did feel a bit dry in his mouth from all the excessive talking and bombarding the unfortunate Namekian who was solely picked out due to his unusual appearance compared to the majority on this world that Plasma had encountered.
However, the android did not display any signs of hostility nor intent to cause him harm - more along the lines of discovering a very superhero series and leeching off it till one grew inevitably tired of and would discard it into the trash. Although, that might change - cause it not look like the android would leave him be for the time being! "RIGHT? YOU AGREE? SMERT GREEN MAN AGREE?"

"I don't think my book explains what you are either short one. Thats something no book can answer." Tabu replied coldly, keeping a close eye on this small creature. Tabu hadn't trusted its pathetic ki output in the first place, and the fact that it almost casually shot up to half of his own didn't change that opinion. As many had found since his arrival on Earth, Tabu wasn't exactly the nicest of people, but it was that very same coldness that kept him alive. The more he kept people at arm's length, the more room he had to react to any unplesantness. For Tabu, it was purely a question of distance and timing, as inseperable from his life as the same concepts were from the heat of the fight.
And yet, as the Namekian stretched his ki sense further to get a better measure of this small being's power, he felt the same ecletic mix of ki signatures he had sensed in Ayu a few short weeks ago. Those signatures were a little different, sure, but the essential construction was the same. It was the same painting, just formed from a different colors. Interesting. Perhaps interacting with this one could help me divine the secret to Ayu's strength. I'll feel a lot less bad grilling this creature than an actual friend. Outwordly however, Tabu remained composed, letting the silence stretch out a little between the two ki-wielders.
"As for me, I'm a Namekian. You appear to be some kind of Changeling from your appearence? There's just something about you that I can't quite place...." Tabu said at last, staring the floating creature with suspicion in his eyes and gesturing at the creature's bio-gem. At the creature's mention of Callion however, Tabu's tentative classification of the creature as a person of interest solidified into fact. If someone as straight-laced as the Sayian trained with the creature to positive results, then the Namekian knew he had nothing to worry about. A little guard was probably still necessary, but nothing crippiling. "......But I guess I wouldn't be adverse to a good workout. Been studying here too long and my blood's beginning to congeal a little. Where were you thinking of going? I hope you know how to fight, because I won't be holding back" Tabu said, cracking his neck from side to side. While this strange being was about as strong as Tabu himself was when he arrived on this planet, raw power was no indicator for fighting skill. Otherwise, Ayu would be able to crush him like an insect, or with even more ease.
Finally getting aorund to its origin, the creature babbled something about "lights and beeps" before quickly changing the subject back to its training plan. Tabu wasn't sure what "lights and beeps" was supposed to signify, maybe a lab? Some kind of space station? It was too little data to go on to make any meaningful conclusion. "Well it looks like you're gonna have your work cut out for you little buddy if you want to discover your identity. What's your name by the way? Mine is Tabu." The Namekian slowly said, stretching out his hand for a handshake.
