Liari's anxiety flipped back into hope as Zero's expression showed NO SIGN of irritation... then FLOPPED back into fear when he pointed his finger DEAD CENTER in that man's face! Now, Liari may be a kid and not privy to the darker aspects of life, really but... the Majin had learned that people REALLY weren't as tough as she was, most of them, and putting a finger-beam into this guy's head would hurt on levels Liari couldn't even GUESS if Zero did it!
...But he didn't! No, just his tone of voice, merry... in a chilling kinda way, and just three quick shots (too fast for Liari to even see) from him was all it really took for the stand-guy to determine he'd won! Liari blinked, looking at the targets, then back at Zero! Maybe... Zero's BB bounced off the backboard and hit the target from behind...? Well, it didn't really matter because Liari was a winner, anyway! Before she knew it, the man was holding her up by her waist to reach up into the stuffed-animals so that she could pick ANY ONE SHE WANTED! At first, she had her eye on a big Teddy-bear, this cute little blackbear in the back... but then she thought of Ayu and her love of flowers... And Liari knew exactly what she wanted!

Liari and Zero walked away from the shooting stand with the majin cradling a BIG stuffed sunflower-toy, the plant having a sunny grin to reflect its yellow petals as it sat in an equally stuffed fabric pot! Liari hugged it to her chest, her cheeks flashing a dark blue blush with excitement! Ayu was gonna be so HAPPY when Liari brought this home! Oh, she could just see it... She would float up to her home and knock on the door, Ayu would cry with excitement and the hugs would just never stop!
Liari could practically feel Ayu's arms holding her already...
But today was not yet that DAY!
No, now it was ZERO'S turn to pay! The two walked up to a NEW stand, this time throwing darts and balloons! They were pretty BIG darts too, at least TWICE the size! If the majin could hit enough balloons with one dart, she got a prize!
"OOo! OOOO! This game look FUN!" Liari bobbed eagerly at the edge of the stand, retrieving her BIG dart as Zero laid down the money! he even proclaimed his FAITH in her doing well!... And at that, Liari flashed Zero a warm, sweet and genuine smile! "I win for YOU this time!"
And with that... she threw her dart!

Zero watched Liari pick up her prize and then walked away from the stand. He was glaring death eyes at the man, sometimes he wished he would just kill most of these humans when he encountered them. This man fits that current profile. When they reached the balloon stand and Lirair got excited he smiled, though it was an honest smile it was not a wholesome smile. It was a smile that he was in fact doing this friend thing that Ryme had explained to him on an entirely deeper level tying into its deception and manipulation. Soon he would have his claws deep within the Majin woman and would be able to get her to do whatever it was that he wanted. For now, he needed to build on this false comfort kinship. While he did honestly have a bit of fun today, he was just going to use her as a tool to achieve the goals he and Ryme had laid out. She would not be kept in the loop for most of it only what he felt she would need to be told to feel included. He was not lying when he had told her he would help her seek out the one who had left him here, after all, if this child of the race was capable of so much then an adult must have more control and abilities than Liari did not yet know of.
He watched as the Majin woman grabbed the dart then threw it, and the balloon on the wall went POP and under it a number written in earthling language. A five, and the man clapped his hands as he shouted "nice hit, just one more like that and you get a large prize. If you get up to twenty then you get anything you want at the stall. " Zero was looking at the options the Majin might have when she won. If this was all it took to bond then they would be close in no time at all. So far all he did was play to her emotions and wants and ensured she had fun. Though he was confident that once they return to the ship Ryme and he had purchased and she spent some time in the gravity chamber she would find that Zero and Ryme would be the best place for her undoubtfully. The Changeling had no idea who or where exactly the Majin had been staying but he was sure their noble lifestyle would help sway her.
Zero smiled even bigger as he brought his small hands together and clapped. "Well done dear Liari, you are always increasing my interest in your abilities. Truly, you are a hidden treasure on this planet. "

Liari CHEERED as her dart went through one of the bigger numbers, clapping her hands eagerly as the stall-man retrieved her dart! Liari hadn't REALLY gotten any substantial tastes of victory since she'd been on this world. Almost all of her fights ended in near cataclysmic disaster, the most the Majin could salvage was from the feeling of rivalry born from her loss. The VAGUE hope that ONE DAY, it would her fists around THEIR throats in victory, where she could stamp her boot into their backs as they lie unconscious in the dirt, subject to her very next whim! This was what kept her in the fight, after all, kept her throwing those hands! It was like she was building a debt-list of people to track down once her power eclipsed theirs!
...But it was here, in these little moments, the majin could have an almost ghost-like approximation of that "victory" she always wanted. Sure, she understood that these were "human" games built around "human" limitations but sometimes, it was nice just to win... SOMETHING! It didn't really matter what and these people seemed to treat her as, more or less, one of them! It was... easy to pretend like she'd just won something important! Even ZERO was out here, proclaiming the Majin's victory, going as far as to call her a treasure the moment the Majin was throwing her dart! Her cheeks flashed a DEEP blue as steam POOFED off her face, the little blue girl's hand releasing the dart BEFORE she could slow down her throw, causing it to ROCKET from her grip almost unhindered, SLAMMING through like 5 whole ballons before SMASHING into the backboard, causing it to shudder!
"R-REALLY?" Liari questioned, turning to Zero with the biggest, shiest and cutest puppy-dog smile she'd ever worn! "I big treasure?? You... you mean it!?"

Zero nodded his head to the Majin girl. "Oh yes, yes. The biggest of treasures. I think together we can make a lot of things happen for each other. Now, then pick your prize and let us go see what is with all this noise on these metal attractions is all about." He would await her to pick up her prize before scanning the area looking for the next thing for them to do. His eyes found it. Yes, a roller coaster. It had at least eight loops, several straight aways before significant inclines that of course led into steep dives down towards the ground, or entering one of these loops. Zero was not aware of the height requirement which would indeed be an obstacle for him to overcome. For now, it was time for them to go sit in one of these lines. "This way." he said holding his hand out to either free one of her arms up from carrying her prizes or taking her hand to lead her. Whichever it was it did not matter to him, there was nothing to his gesture of offering his hand other than offering her assistance. Zero would never find another creature so attractive that he would do something out of his way to assist them, not that he was attracted to Liari as she reminded him of a child, which lead to the question of just how old was she? And was it her mother that had dropped her on earth? Did her kind do things like the Saiyans had done long ago? The only one who could answer these questions was the blue girl he was with, and she had no memories of these events. So he would have to help her find her mother or well the woman he was assuming was her mother to find out.

Liari blushed HARD as Zero laid out his feelings to the majin, that he thought of their friendship as something quite special and that they could very certainly achieve each other's goals! Well, of course she could! AND SHE WOULD TOO! Zero had more than made up for that stupid situation on the beach with this nice and fun day, Liari getting all sorts of prizes and winning all sorts of games... Suffice it to say, she felt GREAT and for helping her feel this way, she wanted Zero to feel great too!
Of course, when she was encouraged to pick out her prize (as the poor stand-guy was still trying to pry Liari's oversized dart out of the wall), the Majin picked out another stuffed flower, TWO now... for her to give to Ayu! Now, for a Majin, such an act of generosity was seldom seen and even less likely to be expected! Majin were VERY stingy with their food and possessions, treating them as THEIRS and nobody else's! It was simply the WAY of things! For one such majin to take something she won in a contest (granted an easy one) and give it to someone else, it really showed what she thought of the person she was thinking of. She might have liked Zero, perhaps even considered him a friend...
...But she LOVED Ayu. Loved her greatly. So she would get TWO gifts from the majin and not just one, a RARE example of self-control and a borderline paragon-esq act of such behavior as far as their people were concerned! Liari would take Zero's hand as the changeling lead her through the park, seemingly quite interested in the roller-coaster that encompassed the park!
OH YEAH! Liari's eyes widened with wonder as she watched the train of cars make its latest run along the tracks! THIS was kinda like what regular humans wanted to do in order to feel like they were flying! Moving fast, resting above ground, ZIPPING all over the place... It wasn't even as LOUD as the air could be sometimes! ...But she was really curious... It had been bothering her for some time now. Zero was usually so serious... But it almost felt like he took as much enjoyment in this place as Liari did herself! It didn't feel WRONG persay just... weird... for an adult to like... ya know... kid stuff!
"Um... Zero...?" Liari asked, gently tugging on the changeling's arm as they got in line! "Why... um... Do you... uh.... You have fun here...?" She asked, unsure of how to phrase her thought! "It just... you so... business-ee lot of the time... I no thought you... like place like this..."

Zero stopped and looked back at Liari. His face shifted fast into his usually plain stare. "You are quite right, I am always on for business. This place, however, was not what I expected at all, in fact, that it's so simple and silly is what gets me. Where I come from every day is a battle for your life, either due to fighting or because you have lost everything is a bad trade deal. There is no charity there, you either improve and prosper or you die. So there was nothing like this where I come from, but if I am honest Liari. I am only enjoying this because you are. Seeing you not worrying is making me happy. I think that is what friendship is about. And, I am most interested in the screams of this machine, I hope that when we get there we are seeing people torn apart at their limbs and punished for their crimes." Zero looked back at the roller coaster. Then back at the blue girl as he let go of her hand.
I would have more fun blowing this place up though. So much wasted expenses on things. If all this ride does is zip around well I have something way more fun for us to ride in. Have you ever heard of the Namekians? Well, it does not matter. Ryme and I have secured a ship, it is meant for space travel but we have found it very useful for traveling across the earth. It is a fast ship I will admit. The really interesting thing about it though is we have a gravity chamber. This is a room that smashes you to the floor and you must try and keep standing, or even move around in it. I bet you playing something like Tag in it would be hard to do. "

Liari blinked as Zero admitted his TRUE feelings outright to the little blue girl, that the world was harsh and that he preferred his work AND while he rather enjoyed seeing the majin happy and content... he'd rather burn this place to the ground, feeling it was worth more in scrap than as an entertainment center! WOW, has Liari been thrown through a loop just now! Here they were, having a nice wholesome moment... and then Zero BACKHANDED it away as if it had been disrespectful or something! Now Liari looked upon the changeling with even more curiosity, the little blue girl looking up at the reptilian as if he was... well.... one of those reploids in human-skin people think are in the government!
Zero then confessed that he had a ship of some sort and that he had a VERY special room that made it harder to play tag... or something! Liari tilted her head and stared dumbly up at her friend, clearly not understanding! OOOKAY, well, in layman's terms, apparently the room made it REALLY difficult to stand somehow and the goal was to stay upright as long as possible!
OH! THAT MADE SENSE!
"OH! You have gravity machine!" Liari said, most astutely! How uncharacteristic! "Yeah! Saw thing on TV that talk about those! They try and sell for all ships! BIG number on price though... You have fast ship and machine? You must HAVE LOTSA money then!"
...And here Liari was just thinking he was posh just because that's who he was! NOPE! It seemed that the changeling had all the moolah in the world to back up his claims! That must mean he's got a lotta people right...? Rich people ALWAYS had more people to do stuff for them! And if he had a lotta people... it would be ANY DAY he would find what she asked him for!

"Oh! That sound like fun!" Liari stated cheerfully, bobbing in place like an excited little child! "You take me sometime! I help you have fun, you help me have fun! Everyone have fun!"

Zero nodded his head. "Yes, I am wealthy though not enough to buy a planet, but enough to buy other things. " Zero admitted plainly. It seemed that the gravity room had sparked a bit of interest from the little Majin girl. It seemed she was eager about trying it out and so Zero smiled as looked to the sky. "Well, no time like the present. How about we head there now so you can get your room set up how you like it? I am sure Ryme would be happy to help you settle into things.
If she would agree Zero would lift into the air and fly back towards the entrance. He was not going to leave his car here that was for certain. When he reached the car he pulled off the cover and folded it up and placed it into the trunk of the vehicle. Once it had been secured Zero moved into the driver's seat and engaged the engines. He would look over to Liari and tap the passenger seat suggesting she should get in. "This will be fine, probably more than you would have had in the park. On the way, I can fill you in on what I do for a living if you care to know. " He would offer, though even if she refused to join him in the car Zero would back up and then speed off through the parking lot, he searched for the signs telling him how to get out, but could not find any. SO, he just turned around and went out the same way he had come in, facing off against oncoming traffic the entire time until he got onto the main road and was able to get into the proper lane. This was all done of course as he screamed and yelled at those who passed him telling them to move out of his way.
