Post by Majin Zero Ika on Jun 15, 2022 21:17:52 GMT -5
Looking over his shoulders he saw his brother flying back towards the surface, and Liari heading in her direction. Well, this was a disappointment. He wished to see how well the Majin would handle the depths of the ocean so he could gauge more of her racial attributes. With his test ruined he floated there watching as she lifted all the shiny pieces of trash off the ocean floor around her. She reminded him of this image he was shown by Ryme, how a human placed down a line of treats for their pet and it went one by one to eat them up. Though he did that nothing crazy was happening to her, so perhaps she was as durable as they were underwater? That was good to know, perhaps she would fair as well in the depths of space?
Zero truly wished to dive down deeper and see everything that was hidden in the dark below, what kind of interesting creatures he would find but mostly how impressed they would be if he came back with something the Earthlings had never seen before. He was sure they would have come what his brother had come to call certain people, he believe it was Pop Stars. People are popular in the culture of the planet. Actors, political figures, singers, actors. He did not understand why they favored entertainment so much here. After all, it was clear that everything and he meant everything his brother had been watching on the T.V. was scripted. Yet things had ratings and people acted like it was great. The only thing he found to be natural was this one channel called ZZ Wild Life. It was a show about these humans following all sorts of animals in the wild. Some of those episodes even featured underwater adventures like what he was having currently. The only reason he had found this show so indulging was because of the pure natural Violence. The strong took their place in what was called the Animal kingdom. It was the natural law of things, throughout the entire Universe and not just on Earth. It was exactly how he felt, the exact way of life they had known growing up. Ryme and Zero had often learned that lesson firsthand either from their father or the stronger beings who mocked or attacked them. It was a sore subject for Zero, but this is why he strived to be something more. Power was everything, power gave you an all-access pass to life, nothing was off the table and everything was for the taking.
Zero took a look at the waters above him where the sun shined down into the ocean, and then looked down beneath him. The darker it grew the more curious he was about it. Perhaps another time though, he wanted to make sure his brother was not having any fun killing anyone without him there. Flying straight up, he broke through the water, as the saltwater dripped off of him. A few panicked gasps came from onlookers and even some of the people were now speechless seeing him floating there above the water. These magots acted as if they had never seen a person fly before, or worse they might have thought he was some sea monster of some sort. The latter made little sense as he was still wearing the swim Trunks. Zero grunted with annoyance and lifted his hand towards the crowd of people as he started to build up Ki within his palm, the slight glow of red began to emit as something caught his eye. There his brother and Liari were, eating something with... With a Monkey!? Just as what is his brother doing? Was he trying to get sick from eating with animals?
Zero lowered his hand as he flew towards the sands of the beach, as his feet touched the grounded rock he walked towards his brother with clear aggravation worn on his face. When his brother saw him he asked if he knew what they said about one's choice of Ice cream. "The only choice dear brother is the kind not eaten with disgusting creatures such as this. Do you even know where this Monkey got that? It was probably out of the trash bin. Honestly Ryme, you can not go around eating something that comes from a Saiyan. " He said with all the attitude one would expect from a Changeling. Then he noted Liari almost swallowing the entire second cone in one bite.
He was a bit disgusted, to be honest, how could she eat like it was her first time ever eating? Dinos he saw on the television did not consume their food in such a wild manner. Showing his disgust on his face he looked away and gagged dramatically. "Honestly woman, who taught you to behave in such a fashion. Why I never...." He noted at this point that the beach goers around them had packed up and left. It seemed he had scared the good people away. This returned him to a happier mood. "Well at least we have more room. "

Another moment of relaxation and another change of music, one again another upbeat and rocking music that hit the air as the Saiyan continued ever on in the comforting embrace by the cover of the shade by the large umbrella. He was experiencing the highlife of the beach, even going so far as to sigh at the feel of the fresh air touch his skin, combined with the ears perking up at the sweet sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the rock formation to the right, whilst the other parts of the waters gently pushed and pulled against the sandy beach. The calmness of the area whilst the earthlings from across the otherside of the Ice Cream van that was still there actually gave the Saiyan a moment to question as to whether it was possible that Planet Vegeta; his Homeworld where he left as an infant had any sort of similar beaches on the Warrior Race world. It was certainly something for him to ponder about – a moment of consideration that even the likes of the Saiyans who focused more on the military aspects of their culture and war would practically leave the planet’s eco system alone, allowing life to thrive in its abundant glory.
As Callion wondered on the great ‘What ifs’ of Planet Vegeta whilst he looked up to the crystal clear sky, a flicker of his tail motioned and a raise of an eyebrow dawned on Callion’s face, as he sensed one of the three individuals emerging from the waters of the ocean. Possibly whatever it was that were observing down in the depths was just about enough for them, which was understandable since they had to breathe… Or, do they even -need- to breathe at all? Each alien lifeform, no matter where one came from, truly was hard to question and ponder such a simple question, for all he knew there could be a race that may very well survive the very vacuum of space itself! Oh, the sweet coincidence he’d soon find himself in when he was about to engage with such an individual like Ryme. Callion motioned his tail as if it was an arm, in a way that he was expressing for Ryme and possibly the others to have and enjoy as much Ice Cream as they want, for such a hot day, even they had to enjoy the sweet and chilling delicacy as an ice cream cone of all things. Though as he did so and observed one of the Changelings eating the chocolate cake, that very question had been asked to the Saiyan that made him raise an eyebrow even further.
A fan? A fan of what exactly? If this changeling was referring to the Ice cream, the music, and the peace and comfortable beach with its warm climate, chill breeze and relaxing natural beauty, then by all means he could count that as a definite yes, unaware of the possible true meaning to such a question. “If a fan you mean the Earthling music, the beach and the Ice Cream that was served by the van to the right over there? Then sure count me as a fan. Help yourself to as much as you want.” The Saiyan replied in a relaxed tone of his voice and honestly quite the friendly one. To the possible commonly connected individual, such a behaviour from a Saiyan alone would be possibly seen as insane and madness. A Saiyan actually being NICE to a Changeling!? The thought of that is impossible, it was as though Callion had never even SEEN a changeling before… Except that, by itself, was very much the case: The Saiyan monk he never once even remotely came into contact with a member of Ryme and Zero’s race before, unaware of what they were like and how to respond at all.
This, for the Changelings, was perhaps the golden ticket in the palm of their hands. What they may have had to deal with the other members of his kind, if they were in Callion’s shoes, there was no doubt that the Saiyan would’ve started in transforming the beach into a battlefield right now in the attempt to tear Ryme and Zero apart for even existing. But this was not the case, far from it for that matter. He was humble, welcoming and with the peace offering as Ice Cream to enjoy such company it was… Alien, new and foreign in every sense of the world – the welcome of a Saiyan that was raised from a completely different world with manners and behaviour that was unlike the classic monkey nature, someone that exhibit a great amount of peaceful tranquillity, all with a warm smile of his face to show such side to the Changeling, to which his attention turned to the arrival of the second individual: The Blue Majin herself.
Ever since the Saiyan laid eyes on the childlike majin character, he felt deep down that Callion could get along with this one, noticing that brightly beaming grin on her face, now learning from this experience alone that her species were capable at extending her arms at quite the impressive distance and range. That was honestly rather amazing that Liari was able to do that, not to mention apparently having possessed the same kind of eating capability as a Saiyan, which was always a bonus in his department! She’d be a killer in the food eating competition if the Earthlings of Planet Earth ever managed to hold such a friendly competition, and what a great challenge that would be for fun and excitement… Well that a to totally have such an excuse to try out even more of the planet’s exquisite food that was in its abundance on this world. Though just before he could picture the sight of trying all manners of the Earthling cuisine, his attention turned to seethe same extending blue arms placing what appeared to be quite the shiny pearl into an empty part of the Ice Cream cone tray, his tail reached into the tray and coiled around the object and looked at the very interesting gift, and smiled warmly in realisation as to what he was giving.
Then of course, there was Zero. Oh boy.
Like the ever-traditional attitude and behaviour of an upstart Changeling, Ryme’s brother acted in this manner right from the get go. Truly a face to sink a thousand ships, at least he also learned from his initial suspicion to be correct; the two were indeed brothers. Normally any Saiyan would throw one hell of an anger and raging bloodlust from the mere mention of such horrid slurs of being called a monkey, the thought of being disgusting creatures and to even be insulted as to assume it was found in a trash as a means to getting a rise out of Callion… Yet there was none to be found, not even a mere vein popped out visible on his forehead. There was nothing, not even a moment of reaction or visible anger upon his face at all.
If anything, Callion spoke the following to Zero:
“… Nice shirt. Though did you really need to scare the earthlings away?”
Callion asked Zero, turning his head towards the right to see not only the very people having fled the scene, but also the Ice Cream van that made a run for it when the Changeling brought out the dreaded Ki glowed red before he found his brother and Liari were interacting with a Saiyan…
Truly, the most uncool of moves…
So evil…

Post by Ryme on Jun 17, 2022 8:45:08 GMT -5
Ryme knew as soon as his brother loomed in the sky that his assessment was correct. He'd wait for him to scold, then he knew that the hard part was coming. On one hand, monkeys were disgusting, on the other hand, this one knew his place and gave free delicious treats. Though he did have a smart-ass answer when he asked if he was a fan. Expecting intelligence from a monkey was still too much. No one ever said family was easy, sometimes the sweetest gifts can turn rancid with one look. So begrudgingly, Ryme wouldn't take one more lick, he'd throw the ice cream on the ground. Even from the trash, that was a tasty treat. I'll have to grab some at a fancy restaurant later. Time to see what brother wants to do, I knew free ice cream was too good to be true.
"Brother how true I was so excited to try the ice cream I decided to overlook that flaw."
While the brothers talked, Lirai would start to gulp her cones down. Ryme couldn't blame her, they were pretty good cones. If only he was capable of such savagery. He wouldn't engage in it like Liari, better to save it for the more important foods. Like chicken wings, that's one food he might forget his manners for. The humans that were slowly inching closer to their space would all flee at his brother's righteous anger. The monkey would actually confront his brother. Even he had to recognize how nice his shirt was, but why did he not comment on Ryme's. He would take this out on the fashion lady at the store. Watching Callion, he'd try to levy accusations at Zero. Ryme wasn't particularly interested in beating up a monkey on the beach. Especially since they were supposed to be vacationing from training. He'd see if he could deescalate the situation with words. Ryme knew that lower beings liked to solve their fights through words instead of physically fighting so he'd attempt that first.
Monkey, how do you know they didn't run from the Majin, it's you who the real racist here. How dare you impune my brother and me after our attempt to fit into such a low-level society. Why, if it wasn't for the food, I think this planet would be worthy of being destroyed by the PTO. Even you acknowledged the nicety of our dress, yet you can't look past your monkey primal rage to allow bygones can you? We are just trying to when in Rome, and you're out here setting us up for failure. Truly monkey madness."
Ryme spoke clearly and loud so that some of the earthlings leaving could hear. He had learned this move on one of earth's most popular political channels. They always turned every accusation back at the accuser. It had to be effective if they were one of the top channels. He'd show this monkey that the changelings were capable of more than just violence on the physical. He could verbally assault with all the best, a challenge he had prepared for with his pop culture absorption program. This monkey had no idea what he was in store for.
Ryme also knew that by sparring verbally, there was a chance the earthlings would come back. They loved verbal spars, and if your exchange was strong enough you could go something they called viral. Then the whole planet would sit around their living areas judging who was in the right or wrong. It was a very popular ritual, even the news channels would cover some of the viral videos if they were popular enough. Ryme would start thinking of possible responses to whatever this monkey would utter next. The music was still playing in the background, which was perfect another element of virality. There had to be background music, Ryme never fully understood why, but all the best videos had background music. He might need to move fast and try to teleport behind or close to Callion depending on his answer. He'd seen the earthling call these transitions and effects, they were such a simple folk instead of recognizing the power of the poster they'd call it special effects. Though Ryme did wonder sometimes why all these folks who could use special effects didn't seem interested in fighting. He had assumed enough money was made off being viral that fighting others didn't interest them. Better to use their incredible speed to create better opportunities for themselves.
Ryme also hoped that if he drew in enough humans that the ice cream man's van would come back for business interest. Then he could just purchase his own delicious treat. The chocolate was enjoyable, what flavor would he try next. As Ryme learned more about Earthling culture he learned why they were so weak. With so many distractions, and being told you were safe no wonder so few sought to be strong. A culture like this couldn't breed warriors, that's why they were such an oddity on the planet. Ryme figured they'd be able to find few fighters capable of serving their goals. At least they had found Liari so far, he hadn't asked his brother if he'd been successful in finding any others.

The sayain was an odd one. Even after Liari SNAGGED THREE whole icecreams from the man and gave him a pearl... he didn't have much to say! It would have been frustrating if the little blue girl hadn't already filled her pockets with treasure and her stomach with ice-cream! Maybe he was one of those weirdos that thought they were SO COOL being all strong and silent! Maybe he was just kinda stupid and didn't know how to say much! Or... maybe that LONG, carpet-like spikey-hair was REALLY the brains of the operation, using this sayain as a puppet to get around and do things like a brain-eating ALIEN!
Well, at the very least, Liari's second observation was proven untrue as he conversed with Ryme, the two... actually hitting it off somewhat! AND he didn't REALLY look like one of those cool guys, given what he was wearing on this occasion... Still... Liari narrowed her eyes at that long, flowing hair. She hadn't seen him stick ice-cream in it to feed it yet... but she was still holding out for that alien theory...
Liari's musings were interrupted by the RAPID escape of the every-day humans, everyone just RUNNING in all directions like roaches as Zero lowered back down to shore! Apparently, he had scared them off... for some reason... and he looked MAD... FOR SOME REASON! The majin raised up his now-melting ice-cream to him with a smile... Only for the changeling to come in complaining and whining about something! Hearing that tone of "pish-posh" superiority and "I-say-sir,- I-demand..." tone of voice, the majin instantly tuned out, choosing to, instead snack on Zero's cone once he started complaining about where it had come from!
...and it didn't stop either!
Before Liari knew it, he started going ON about HOW Liari ate, seemingly disgusted by her lack of manners! At that, the majin looked up at him blankly before sticking out an ice-cream-covered tongue in his direction and wiggling it at him like a worm! If it wasn't obvious by now, Liari was getting REALLY annoyed with how Zero's change in temper, the majin letting out a HUFF of steam from her arms in aggravation before going back to counting her booty! So many pretty things, so little PATIENCE!
...It was only when Zero started commenting on how HAPPY he was that everyone had left, leaving the four of them all alone... did Liari's temper flare. She actually ENJOYED the people! It was NICE hearing them laugh and have fun! She played with the kids and made them all smile! ...Now they were gone. Probably afraid of her AND Zero because of what the changeling did! A PULSE of ki FLARED around the majin for just a moment, her eyes flashing red. She glared up at Zero silently, her expression hard, almost stony... before her eyes flicked back to their natural silver! The majin smiled, if a tad sharply, reaching out a finger to poke at his rear appendage!
"A fish bite you on tail or something?" Liari questioned with a slightly passive-aggressive giggle! "Why you so MEAN all-of-sudden? It come from nowhere! And spiky-head do nothing to you!" Liari pointed over at Callion... who just now commented on Zero's shirt, much to the majin's amusement!
"Spiky-head right! Why you scare people away!? Beach is big! Fits us AND them!"
...But Ryme stood up for his brother... by throwing the majin under the bus! Liari's eyes widened as the changeling instead accused LIARI of scaring them off, the majin letting out a low growl as steam PUFFED out of the holes along her arms!
WHY HER!? SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! WHAT!? WHAT DID HE THINK SHE DID!? WAS HE...
Was he calling her "Ugly...?"
"RRRRRRGH!" Liari GROWLED, her aura BLAZING UP around her, the majin's eyes blazing a deep, spiteful red at the two changeling brothers! "WHAT YOU SAY!?" Loose sand flew about in a wild, chaotic twin-spiral, pink energy FLASHING with electricity as her anger summoned it forth! The little blue girl bared her sharp, majin teeth so much so, even her GUMS flashed them both!
"WHY!? WHAT I DO!? I NOT UGLY! I NOT SCARE THEM AWAY!"

Zero looked to Liari first and his lips parted as he looked at her sharply. Even though his attention was focused on her he spoke to Ryme. "Yes, I can see the logic there. Still, you know how quick the saiyans are to volt against one of out kind without even talking about anything. If this one was smart enough to not attack us when we did not see him, then he might be strong enough to try and take us out through other means. " He took a dramatic blink before refocusing on the Majin. " No, a fish did not bite me, for it it had I would be feasting on it. Remember that Liari, I will eat whatever attacks me if it has no use." Zero could tell right away he and Ryme had struck a never with the Majin, he facial expression betraying her and something odd even happed with her eyes. She apparently did not like that they had more room.
[color=red did you truly enjoy sharing space with lesser life forms Liari? Perhaps I was wrong about you. Dear brother did you know that this creature can regrow limbs after they have been blasted? I wonder... I wonder if like a Star fish it you cut a limb off if they both would regrow. What an interesting idea. " He then smirked as she displayed her power almost as if she had forgotten what had occurred in her fights with Ryme and himself. He listened to his brother suggest the Majin had scared of the people and not himself. What a good brother he had. And really all this saiyan had to say for himself was "nice shirt." This was confusing for Zero as he was not wearing one.
"OH well there goes the theory of him being smart. He thinks I am wearing a shirt hahaha. Foolish monkey this is my natural armor. My first was taken off soon after we had arrived here, which means you have been a peeping tom. What a sick and disgusting man you are. Were you after this poor girl? That's it is it not? You though we were all children and you attempted to lore us in with Ice cream. I seen this on the news, these type of people are called Pedophiles, and were mostly wiped up on earth. It figures a Monkey would be one of them. Well I assure you sir, that I nor my brother are kids and have absoultly no intrest in you. Becarful Liari, this man if more vile than I could ever be. He is truly sick, just admit it saiyan!" Zero made sure to be loud, he was playing off his brother's stratergy. He purposely did not answer the question the saiyan asked only, used his words to point out that he had taken his shirt off since they had arrived to the beach.
As for the Majin girl, she ws really starting to work on his last nerver with all that disrespect. Did she forget who they were? Had she forgotten how he had left her there with no arms when they had first met? The arrogance of this creature. She should count herself lucky that he was intrested in her abilities. Even with the display of her emotions so outward and clearly the anger pointed at the two brothers Zero only chuckled as he lifted off the ground and floated backwards.
"I can see we have angeried you dear girl. Perhaps the two out you would like to settle this? If so then allow us to do so, though it would be fun to see you both fall tot he power Ryme and I share in combat, I detest fighting. So... Zero pointed his finger to the newly vacant volleyball net with a volleyball. "How about we settle this with a game of beacg volleyball."
In anticapation of them to accept Zero flew over towards the net and landed near the ball, usning his thre toed foot he stepped ontot he ball and gripped it befor spinning around and flinging it over his shoulder and catching it with his hands. "Now before we get started, let us be clear. Obviously we are all strong enough to use a truck for this game. So, let's make sure we are treating this ball with the same care we would if it was something somewhat to our liking and not over the top. We do not nee the ball to break apart on the first strike yes? Do you two think you can handle such a task? "
Truthfully, this was another task he designed to see if the majin would be able to hold back her anger and if she could learn when to use it or if she was much like a saiyan and let the anger control her. It would also be a good test to see if her mind would be one for stratergy or the simple and direct approach to things. Whichever way she thought, Zero knew he could help her improve and become the perfect tool for his plans. Of course Ryme would have a hand in it to, see Ryme was the tactical guy, and Zero was the direct, sop i did not matter. This excercise would allowed for greater understandling truly. As for the saiyan well, so far nothing had gotten a reaction out of him which was unlike the typical monkey. Though even if he did not spring into action and allowed Ryme Or Zero to damage his pride, he would at least get to deliver a deffeat in another way. It was that or be hunbled by the saiyan which he doubted very much. Zero had never met a monkey he could not best in any form of combat, this would be no different.
So, do you accept? Two on two and winner at 10 points. What do yall say?"
Zero had never played the game but he had obserbed it on a few online videos. It was a simple game, one person in the back served the ball into the air to the other team, the field made a Square and if the ball went out of the square the other team got the ball. You scoured by making the ball make impact with the opponent's side of the square either before or after they touched it. The main objective was to prevent the ball from hitting the ground on your side, and taking advantage of letting it og out of bounds. Like he though simple enough.

Callion had to give credit where credit was truly due; these two Changelings sure do know how to pull at the strings of a Saiyan’s pride. One can even bow in respect to their mastery of the game, able to increase their voice to a louder form to belittle and besmirch the Saiyan will all the most vile and cruel of insults, when even some of them going way too far, even for the normal of individuals to tolerate. Even from the likes of Zero; whose venomous insults would’ve caused even the most trained of Saiyan to lash out in a fit of unbridled rage and absolute fury that may even cause the likes of the Oozaru to explode from out of them even when there wasn’t a full moon! To call him the words of a Paedophile, a sick and vile individual, let alone a peeping tom? Truly Zero had no issues or troubles in the matter to offense the Saiyan with such vulgar tones for any and all reason to really squeeze out whatever emotional response Callion would show Infront of the Changeling. Of course, there was also the other brother in the beach that was directly beside Zero…
Ryme; from what started out as… The closest thing to somewhat of a normal discussion, had immediately turned a full one hundred and eighty degree turn. From throwing the poor Ice Cream onto the sandy floor, to calling the Saiyan a racist – which was the most ultimate form of irony given to their situation that they were, in fact, being the absolute racists themselves by constantly calling Callion a monkey, and believing he was setting the brothers up for failure… When it was the actual fact the opposite, all that Callion had done ever since arriving onto the beach, was enjoying the calm winds that the ocean provided, relaxed to the beautiful music that the radio machine provided under the cover of the Umbrella, offering Zero, Ryme and Liari some delicious Ice Cream, and essentially enjoy the time to develop a bond. But instead, and possibly with the roles of history had to play – the fires of racial hatred burned ever onward, even till today which was clearly evident in Zero’s mannerisms in demanding Callion to admit he was right of all the horrid things he had said to the Saiyan monk. So, how exactly was this particular Saiyan going to do about these insulting manners that the brothers have shown?
It was obvious. He continued to show zero reaction or emotional blacklash whatsoever to the brothers. Despite everything they had thrown at him, demeaning and outright bully the Saiyan with everything they had at their arsenal, there was, once again, not a single form of reaction out of him whatsoever. To witness such form of control, not even going to fully attack or outright force a fight against the Changelings to prove their point was correct, the Saiyan monk – dedicated to the untold years of training on the Planet Bhupal with the most determined and faithful monks had drilled their physical as well as mental training into him. Sure, the brothers could see this as a win and take in the glory of having silenced the Saiyan for his foolish talk allowing Zero and Ryme to take on a victory, but to deny the Saiyan that he was not even remotely phased from such onslaught of words was to be foolish, even by their standards. Though despite the two’s rather powerful form of social and vocabulary prowess, there was one person in the party that Callion was more concerned about than anything for that matter.
That was of course was Liari.
Noticing the reaction on her face and the way she was behaving said it all; from having thrown the poor girl under the bus after what he assumed was the Changelings having befriended the Majin, they sure as anything did not even waste any form of opportunity with putting her to blame for the Earthlings fleeing the Beach, and now seeing her lose her temper with the steams puffed out from the holes of her body only drive home the evidence that she was in no mood for their attitude, let alone the possible suggestion to the ‘game’ that Zero had in mind for the four people here. For Ryme, Callion turned his attention, slightly lowered his shades and raised an eyebrow at the Changeling whilst motioning his head for Zero’s brother to look at the state of Liari. Again, the Saiyan didn’t say a word, allowing the actions and result of what he said be evident. For all his bluster and strategic behaviour in attempting to belittle the Saiyan, he sure picked a fine way to pissing off others who were more than eager in having a fight. Whether Ryme felt proud of himself to causing the majin to be in her current enraged state. That, and the fact that the Changeling, literally gave the sole reason for the Earth not being destroyed was because of the food provided. Was that a threat? Did they think they have the power and energy to even go against essentially everyone who was across the world for their arrogance?
That, and the fact that the PTO was mentioned, something that Callion had heard from a certain Namekian by the name of Tabu made his suspicions all the more evident…
Now a game of Volleyball… That was something that caught the Saiyan’s interest, slowly standing up – the 6ft 3in monkey looking at the two brothers and then the Majin before turning his full attention to Zero. “A game of volleyball? Hmmm… Sounds good to me. I’d assume this will be a two versus two match with your brother… While I am all on board for this game…” Callion proceeded to point to the poor Majin who was furious, his left hand still held onto the Pearl greatly in appreciation for such a gift. “I don’t think my volleyball partner is more than tolerating the idea to the game after you and your brother’s stunt.”

Ryme would feel a little bad for Liari as she huffed and puffed for being implicated in the reason for humans leaving. She wasn't old enough to understand that he was spreading blame equally not pointing to one party in specific. He'd explain this kind of tactic to her when she was older, if he explained it now it wouldn't be as effective as a tactic. It wouldn't take much talking from Ryme for his brother to catch on to what was going on. He'd pick up speaking for both of them. He was worried that it would go into a sparring match, but his brother surprised everyone. He suggested a volleyball match. Ryme had watched a riveting children's cartoon they call anime about it. He'd listen to the monkey split them into the teams he assumed. Then the monkey would do the second wise thing since Ryme met him. He'd ask about Liari. A monkey with some consideration, must have been at a zoo instead of Vegeta. I wonder if he loses his monkey mind at a full moon. I should learn that secret someday."
"Liari, sweety, if you beat us I'll let you get a free punch right on my jaw. Does that sound fair now to you? We can always get more ice cream another day."
He'd listen for Liari's answer before turning towards the monkey and addressing him. Liari was still very much like a child to Ryme. So the simpler of an answer that you gave the quicker the response. Hopefully, she'd find a free punch equivalent to however she had heard him call her ugly. He wouldn't call her pretty though, not unless he had to. The tone of his voice changed from soft and kind to dripping with negativity as Ryme spoke to the Sayian.
"Thank you so much for your opinion, on our friend who you've known for all of 30 seconds. Are you Dr. Donkey Kong and this is your professional opinion? Or can we get this volleyball show on the road?"
Ryme had no idea what he was doing but was confident in all things. That was the best way to prepare for any battle. The only time to appear unconfident was when you were sure to win. Stripping out hope was the most satisfying of all reactions. He knew the basics of volleyball, so he imagined he'd be fine. Unless one of the other two were sticklers for the rules they could play it mostly by ear.
He'd look over to his brother and see he was thinking similarly. Their first tactic would be to observe how the enemy team played their game. It didn't matter how they crushed them, just that they did. He imagined they wouldn't have too many volleyballs plays ready to go on such short notice. The monkey had no problem accepting now the brothers waited on Liari's approval for continuing. Ryme secretly hoped that she'd help the guest win. This would mean that Liari was worth more than her brother originally thought.
This game was about one of the founding concepts behind their transformations. Control, for the other races their transformations came as they gained power. For his race, it was as natural as breathing, just an expression of your power. You would drain yourself faster when fully unleashed, so typically most stayed in their most restrained form. He'd look over at the ball for the game. He'd have to restrain himself from hitting the ball too hard. The first person to break the ball would be the first loser, he didn't want to lose twice.
Ryme was proud of his brother he had found a medium strategy, one where they didn't fight, but still got to show their combat prowess. This would eventually bring in humans as they couldn't resist seeing entertainment in their inferiority. And if history was anything to go on it wouldn't be too much longer until the monkey embarrassed himself. As long as one of them kept him talking his baboon butt would show.
Hopefully, Liari wouldn't get too mad at any of the humans who weren't on her side. If she did kill one of them, he'd look forward to laughing as the Sayian switched sides again. It might be a good lesson for Liari, but no need to push it better to see how her anger worked itself out.
He knew in the future Ryme had once wanted an employee to capture all of his spontaneity on a cell phone. Of course, he realized that people could study the tapes so ultimately he decided against it for security reasons. He could see the cheesy opening music playing now made mostly of compilations of their following volleyball game. Though when he thought of the show's he watched he never remembered the volleyball episode.
Ryme planned on taking his rage out about having to trash his ice cream cone on this game. He couldn't blame his brother, though he did wish he had gotten just one more lick. Ryme would need to try and spike the ball at least once at the monkey. He knew that his brother would want the same honors, better to let him lead the charge. He secretly wondered if this was the monkey's plan all along. To get Ryme a taste of ice cream then dangle being a monkey to upset his brother. Thus setting Ryme up for a taste of ice cream; an interesting flavor of torture. Then again monkeys weren't typically that smart, but with how calm this one was there was the possibility. Ryme would have to watch this Callion carefully. If he was as smart as Ryme imagined they were in true danger. A monkey with brains might as well be a signal of a future super Sayian. They were pretty rare like monkeys with brains.
This was still an opportunity that could be spun if he could find a way to get the monkey to submit slavery was more valuable than a body with a story. His thoughts of finally training with Babidi lay beyond the horizon. Maybe he'd start a monkey army then, surely this monkey has got some hate in his heart. Ryme hadn't gained that vision yet.

Wrong...? WRONG ABOUT WHAT!? AND WHAT ABOUT LESSER LIFE-FORMS!? ZERO WAS TALKING LIKE ANYTHING HE WAS SAYING MADE SENSE! The Majin didn't like his tone, though, that was certain enough, the little blue girl glaring up at the changeling as he talked down to her as much as he did this sayain he didn't like for some reason! It was as if the pleasant but slightly scary Zero was replaced with his insufferable evil twin below the surface of the ocean or something because he REALLY didn't act like this usually! It was like Callion's massive HAIR (because what else could it be about him) triggered some demon inside to take control of his very body! Steam BILLOWED out of the holes lining Liari's arms as she stared DAGGERS into the "naturally armored" back of the changling, her aura beginning to flare with her temper, blowing away the loose sand around her feet!
"YOU NOT MAKE ANY SENSE!" Liari YELLED, her voice so loud, it sent sonic PULSES radiating out from her mouth! One could see it through the air, contorting its shape and all around it not unlike the very tides at their backs! "HE DO NOTHING! HE JUST STAND THERE! YOU MEAN TO HIM, YOU MEAN TO ME! WHY YOU MEAN!? WHY YOU BEING SO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!?" The majin cocked back a fist ready to CLONK the changeling for this! Heck, she might break her fist on his crystal-like scalp, but she didn't care! If it made Zero SHUT UP FOR A WHOLE MINUTE, EVEN IF HE WAS MAD AFTER, IT'D BE WORTH IT! She could read it in Zero's eyes too, as he looked back at her, his temper starting to fray. What, did he think she was just gonna TAKE it, because he blew her up once!? If Liari had understood the significance of the action, she would've SPAT on the ground at the idea!
How dare she...? HOW DARE HE!? EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL ZERO AND RYME TURNED INTO COMPLETE JERKS!
No doubt, the changeling saw that a fight was gonna happen if he didn't provide a distraction, either from the Sayain, who was still remarkably calm and stoic in the face of such insults... or from Liari who was THIS CLOSE to glassing the beach entirely! Zero suggested... Volleyball...? AFTER ALL THAT HE SAID, ZERO WANTED TO PLAY A GAME WITH THEM!? Liari didn't know whether to be confused or EVEN ANGRIER, steam still BLASTING out her arms... but her expression now had a hint of dubiousness.
"Why I wanna play with YOU two now!?" Liari huffed, crossing her arms over her chest! "YOU GUYS MEAN! YOU MEAN TO ME, YOU MEAN TO HIM!" She nodded at Callion! It seemed that Ryme was the more sensible of the two as he approached the majin, offering her a deal if she played along! He wouldn't APOLOGIZE, far from it, but he would offer her a punch in his face! She stared at the changeling, tracing his jawline with her eyes as if considering the offer... but then her eyes narrowed suspiciously. How could she even TRUST them now!? WHY shouldn't she just walk away and let those two lizard-losers stew!?
...It wasn't because socking Ryme in the face was too enticing to resist. Liari's eyes flicked at Callion. ...But because, if they won, it'd make Zero AND Ryme HOPPING MAD! A sharp, angular smile stretched across Liari's face as she nodded at the changeling, then walking from Zero and Ryme's side over to Callion's. Better with him than THESE meanies! She looked up at Callion, giving him a thumb's up and a smirk before glancing back over at Zero to gauge his reaction! If he was mad... Liari's smile would grow! If not... the little blue girl would smile wider anyway! Apparently, seeing Callion happy made Zero lose his mind! Right now, all Liari could want... is to see Zero's patience crack!
"Yeah! We do it!" Liari stated with no small measure of excitement, her rage disappearing in exchange for eagerness! "We beat you! YOU SEE!"

Post by Majin Zero Ika on Jun 23, 2022 19:53:15 GMT -5
Just who did she think she was yelling at? Had she forgotten how outclassed she had been in their fight? It was true she had got in some good shots on him but that was because he was not aware of what her race was capable of, now he had an idea of what to expect. Though it seemed everything had gone to plan and Zero and Ryme would get to judge the Majin's abilities further and judge what this saiyan was capable of. Part of him was upset about how quick the Majin girl had lost her anger, and was confused as to why literal steam would be puffing out of her body. Was she some type of rubber kettle race? Just what were these Majins truly? Though it seemed she would eventually calm down and the teams were set. He had to admit he was also disappointed in the Saiyan's reactions to his class A insults. Poor Liari had no idea why Zero was being a jerk as she called him a meanie. Truly, Zero was not a bit angry about anything he was simply just annoyed his brother had done something so foolish. As if there was not an entire history of bad blood between the two races. It seemed Liari would be oblivious to this fact. Oh well, he would teach her the layers of races and why his race was at the top of the charts and the Saiyans were at the bottom. He would also have to teach her that she would be higher than them too and demand the proper respect she deserved, after of course she learned how to speak in complete and proper sentences. He was not sure if she was just that young of a child or if she was just dumb. That would have to come with further studying of the future vessel of his plans.
Good, good. Now being the superior species we will pick the side of the court we want, but in exchange to be fair, we will give you the ball first. " This would be an important step into his plans in evaluation of the two opposing the changeling brothers. Zero had no doubts in his mind that they would come out on top. That had too many things going in their favor. Number one, Zero and Ryme had been a team all their lives, in fact, Zero often thought of them as the same person. Number two, he was sure they were stronger than both of their opponents with a large gap of power. He knew for sure Ryme and himself had beaten down the Majin in their own fights with her. Liari's opponent was a bum-looking monkey just how strong could he be? Zero did not expect much from him though. his observations had hinted that there was something different about this Saiyan. Firstly his style of dress, secondly the mannerisms and the way he spoke. There was no pride or arrogance in any of his responses nor did he even so much as lift a brow in anger. Perhaps he was under the influence of something. Lastly, the third reason he was sure Ryme and himself would come out of his game victorious was simply that Liari would end up snapping and destroying the ball. While typically Zero would look to do anything to set that Saiyan off to watch him chimp out, Zero really wanted to see what was going to happen when he made Liari lose control of her anger. He could tell earlier she was ready to fight him. She had even made a fist.
"We play this game instead of fighting my dear because fighting is how the stupid settle everything. Now you are not stupid, are you? Before she could even answer Zero walked to their side of the court, which was where their backs faced the west, so once the sun would start to set it would not impede him or Ryme. It was now time to set the guidelines for this volleyball game. " No pay attention so you understand the rules, on top of the normal rules of volleyball, let us make sure we are not doing anything ridiculous. First off, no flying, do not hit the ball so hard that it pops, and now beams or telekinetic abilities. This will be a game of tactics and physical prowess. Whichever side breaks these rules forfeits instantly and loses the game. "
Zero then scooped the ball up with his tail and tossed it over the net so they may serve. "And none of that stretchy stuff either missy. " Zero stated with a firm look as he looked at Liari. Zero allowed Ryme to pick where he wished to start, either the back or front row, he was sure it would not matter which was picked, the two of them would have this in the bag. Now, all there was to it was to take his position in the boxed-out sand pit and take his stance bending at the knees as he waited for the first server to come over the net. He was eager to see just how bad these two would work with each other and how they would fumble over each other with every play. The best thing to do was to aim the ball in the center of the two of them each time and make them both move to react and then hesitate in their actions and either run into each other or let the ball touch the soft white sands under them all. Zero knew that he and Ryme would have to handle it, the key was to split the box that was cut into two parts even smaller by cutting it into four parts. If he was in the rear then he had from the halfway point from the back line to the middle of the court that he had Ryme laid on and the reverse would be said for his brother.
The sounds of the waves crashing onto the beach could be heard as the match would soon begin and the winners of this game would be closer to being found out. There were no doubt clips of this would be going viral if anyone around them were to record the four alien creatures playing the human game. He was sure he would see something about things on ZSPN later on tonight or possibly even in the morning. It would probably even go so far that it would pop up on the News that Ryme enjoyed so much and that the people in the suits and big hair would talk about.

How in all of creation was Liari friends or even acquainted to these two he will never know, their mannerisms were atrocious, and the way they were speaking to the Majin as though she was nothing more but a pet, a used plaything in their eyes even whilst she was utterly furious for their remarks and rightfully so was just downright vile and disgusting to comprehend. The Saiyan remained quiet regardless, his eyes that were covered by the sunglasses slowly shifted from one Changeling brother over to the other, noticing how they sure do love to stroke their superiority genome against others that they saw were lesser species compared to them. If anything, it made the idea of playing this innocent game of volleyball all the more enticing just to see them lose against a Majin and Saiyan wombo combo, even if both Liari and Callion had never really teamed up before in their life and, to put it in Ryme’s words, ‘who he’d known for all of 30 seconds’. It was a rather dangerous gamble all things considered regardless to how harmless the earthling game was, for if the two would lose, then they’d never hear the end of the Changelings boastful slander.
The Saiyan turned his attention to Ryme who just so made such a command about his ‘professional opinion’ and that being a ‘Dr. Donkey Kong’, he gazed towards the Changeling sibling as he slowly turned his head towards liari prove his point, “Well, this ‘Dr. Donkey Kong’ suggests that we don’t anger her anymore than she already is or else we can safely say goodbye to the Island. But I agree, we should get this show on the road.” The Saiyan answered, watching the Majin with great interest, noticing her change in attitude soon enough with a smile on her face with the Saiyan monk having the same one as well. It appears for in that instant the two were indeed in the same mindset, and as she walked to his side with a thumbs up, the Saiyan monk gave a thumbs up back to her in kind, already establishing a good foothold on getting along with Liari already, no doubt something that may cause the inner blood of the changelings to see a monkey getting along with their ‘friend’ to boil with nothing but vile and disgust. Or not, depending on how they react to such a scene before their eyes.
Callion listened to the rules of the game that was issued by Zero and gave a nod in agreement, for it was better to follow and understand the more human element to the harmless game. Nothing too madness that the ball explodes, nor to out of hand for flying to be involved. Whether it was Callion to catch the ball first or Liari was up for debate. If Liari was the one to catch the ball then he’d eagerly wait for his newfound teammate in this innocent game of volleyball to commence whenever she was ready. However, if Callion was the one to catch the ball instead, he’d hold the ball with both hands and gave a nod to Zero in understanding. “Well then, now that the rules are established and out of the way. Let’s try and keep this a clean and friendly game. If everybody is ready?” Callion asked, looking over towards the Changeling Brothers to signal that they were ready for the game to begin and then over towards Liari for her to give the thumbs up. “Then in that case, may the best team win and let’s play ball.” The Saiyan spoke with glee.
Once more, this was a twist of fate: If Liari was to serve the ball first, then the Saiyan Monk would prepare in anticipation, keeping an eye on where the Majin struck the ball first and which one out of the two Changelings was going to go for the ball first. If he assumed much about these brothers from the way they spoke and how tactful they were in their games, Callion had to be careful with how they were going to go for Liari’s ball, having to resort himself as a mean of counter attacking right off from the gate. However, if Callion had the ball and thereby was the individual to set the game first, then he’d start the game off with an easy Overhand serve. The Saiyan started the match by tossing the ball with one hand two feet up in the air, taking a step forward and swing with his other arm to perform a bow and arrow arm movement, keeping his elbow high above the ear and made contact with the ball by an open hand to propel it over the net and into the opposing volleyball team’s court. The ball itself started well, with the destination heading directly in proximity with the back end of the court in Ryme’s direction.
Whether it was Liari or Callion’s fate to decide the game of Volleyball starting the match, the Saiyan monk was made ready in anticipation to whatever came his way, and after seeing the fiery disposition of the Majin as his teammate with the burning passion to win the match in her own right, it was only safe to deduce that the mutual goal in the hopes to succeed and bring the Changeling brothers down a notch was to be a sweet and satisfying goal worth winning and fighting for…
Hopefully said fighting was not to become from the match.

Post by Ryme on Jun 28, 2022 9:56:33 GMT -5
Ryme was surprised by Liari's sudden anger, he knew that she had a bad habit of letting her emotions get the best of her. Still, he just hadn't expected the meltdown from Ryme's implication or his brother's words. Ryme was still unsure how he felt about the monkey, he didn't seem to care about the same things most monkeys did. He was probably one of those wonky ones he'd hear about from time to time. That every once in a while a monkey was born without the needless aggression or monkey-like traits. Ryme had his theories on that being the true bloodline, the only way the monkeys could work together without a puppeteer. He wondered if any of them were trying to take back the planet as he spoke. Every day he waited to hear about the rebel sayians. Or maybe something else if they succeeded fast enough. Part of the Namek expansion had been about gaining more land. Another part was the effect it had on the USD's peace across the universe. Now others were seeing the folly of partnering together. If they were ever stupid enough to split it would make conquering them all the easier for the PTO.
He'd look over at the court that his brother had laid out as their coliseum. Ryme hadn't played volleyball before, now that he was in front of an actual court he was too excited to decide a position. He had seen such great plays from both the front and rear man. Ryme could see himself going in for a dive on the opposite's territory if it was too hard for the other brother. Doing a killer spike, that's when a thought would occur to Ryme. The monkey towered over both the brothers, and there was an easy remedy. Ryme would have to use his tail to extend his body's height to match the monkeys. Truly an ironic response to a problem, Ryme would chuckle as he imagined himself using it. Hopefully, it would trigger some laughs from the rest, he could tell the tension was higher than he expected. No matter how much he studied other races, he'd never understood their quickness to be offended. If changelings were offended as easily there'd be no galaxy to conquer.
Ryme would ultimately take the back position in volleyball, he expected that it would require more prediction than the front. Liari's anger had slowly morphed from anger to excitement. Ryme still hadn't been able to discern her exact age, but it was young. He wondered if the monkey was capable of understanding that. Maybe someone with a young mind is an adult one to them. Ryme couldn't be sure, one thing for sure, this would be a blast-off day for him. This sport would require a different posture than usual for Ryme. He'd practice while his brother and the monkey spoke. Repeating the correct posture to himself, Ryme squared his legs shoulder-width apart and slightly bent his knees. His arms were relaxed palms resting on his thighs, ready to transform into either position of hitting he'd seen. His tail was relaxed against the sand, ready to push off to give him that extra height. That's when the thought would hit Ryme in the face. This monkey is a calm one, but he still has a tail. That's what's been rubbing me wrong, I thought all the calm ones got snipped. Maybe they snipped off his monkey scrotum to reproduce the same effect.
His brother would pass off the ball over the net, and Ryme would watch to see who would serve first. He didn't have any expectations on who would serve. On one hand, monkeys liked to be the hero of their own stories, on the other Liari's childlike qualities might demand she hit it first. Either way, Ryme wanted to have a scrimmage going on the first serve. He'd rather not have a one-sided match on either side. That was part of the reason for not using full power, and the ball would have a hard time staying solid. Plus the audience was already starting to gather around them as they went to the volleyball court. Solving the problem in an earthling way was a creative way to continue to build their fame. He had been approached multiple times in cities now. Granted it was only 5 people total, but it was starting to slowly go to Ryme's head. The brothers were being approached to do jobs off-planet already.
Whoever took the ball first to serve, Ryme would give them a thumbs up and a smile. Though if it were the monkey, the smile would be pretentious. Ryme would stare down whoever was going to serve, watching every twitch on their body. He wasn't good enough to be able to predict where they'd serve. Still, he found observing his opponents helpful. He wondered which direction the serve would go.

"Superior..." Liari grumbled, the majin following Callion over to THEIR side. Why did THEY get to choose anyway? AND WHAT DID SUPERIOR mean anyway!? Did he think they were cooler than them or something!? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT SOUNDED LIKE! Feh... she'd show them... she'd show them all... They would see... She'd just stretch her arms a-
...But Zero already caught onto that!
"WHA... BUT WHYYYYYYYYYY???" Liari whined, stomping her foot in the sand! "That not faaaaaaaair!" ...But the changelings weren't having it! They were gonna do it THEIR way or not at all! OH! HOW THEY WERE PUSHING HER BUTTONS! She couldn't even play at her BEST with these people!? Why, she was just gonna cheat then! She didn't know how... she didn't know when, but at SOME POINT during this game, she was gonna do something SO underhanded, it was gonna win them the game and Zero wasn't gonna know! Show him for being so mean and controlling this day, slinging insults and being mean to the guy with a giant hair-like parasite on his head.... Liari looked up at Callion, who seemed relatively undisturbed by everything going on! How did he do it, keep that composed! Like, he was called all the mean things LIARI Could think of and he was still so...
Cool...
Liari shook her head radically, realizing it was time for the game to begin! It was only just now that Liari had absolutely NO idea how this game was played, only that she couldn't really use the palms of her hands or legs to strike the ball... or fly... or stretch in her case. So... she COULD punch it, right? She looked at the ball, then her own hands... and smirked. She knew just how she was gonna stick it to the lizard-man...
Zero would be the one to toss the ball over and the majin, thinking that THIS was the start of the game, would take her fist AND... lightly jab it in Callion's direction! A slow unsuspecting start with what was SURE to be a DEVESTATING strategy on Liari's part... that was, if everything went according to cake!

He figured Liari would protest, but she eventually agreed. With all parties in agreeance with the rules, it was time to start. Just as soon as it started it ended. As Liari punched the ball towards Callion. Zero watched it zoom towards the Saiyan and frowned. "No no no! One of you must serve the ball up and over the net, honestly, have you never watched ZSPN? " Was this not something everyone did or were he and Ryme the only ones who did research on cultures when they went places? Honestly, how were they supposed to play a proper game? Pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance he pointed towards Callion. "You there, Monk Mi-onkey stand in that corner there and serve it up. Honestly, how do you visit a planet and not know a single thing about it? " Zero looked at Ryme exasperated with this entire situation. Perhaps it would have been better to just fight, yes that idea was sounding so much better now.
As he waited for them to try it again, Zero wondered what was going to happen after he and his brother walked away with a victory. Would they finally get a reaction out of monkey see and monkey do that would entertain them? Perhaps not, so far Liari seemed to be the only one rearing to do anything. Which begged the question of what she would do if he pushed her to the edge a bit more? She boiled like a teapot but he wondered if she overflowed like one too? A possible outcome for sure. One he would have to test to see if she would indeed be worthy of becoming a soldier in their army.

“Hey now, calm down. It’s an honest mistake. There is no need to get so agitated.”
Callion looked towards Zero and frowned at such a sudden burst of anger, shaking his head at the disapproving anger tantrum like a child, having caught the ball using his Saiyan tail, mimicking that of the Changeling. Once the Saiyan monk picked up the ball with his hands, he’d walked over towards Liari and placed a hand on her shoulder, offering the Majin a warm smile.
“Don’t you worry about them, we’ll show them that we mean business.”
Callion offered a gentle reassurance to the Majin with a smile before making his way to the corner of the Volleyball corner of his square and slowly got himself ready to once again play ball. Now with confirmation that it was indeed the Saiyan’s initial start up with the game, he proceeded to begin thusly: The Saiyan started the match by tossing the ball with one hand two feet up in the air, taking a step forward and swing with his other arm to perform a bow and arrow arm movement, keeping his elbow high above the ear and made contact with the ball by an open hand to propel it over the net and into the opposing volleyball team’s court. The ball itself started well, with the destination heading directly in proximity with the back end of the court in Ryme’s direction.

His brother would pass the ball, and Ryme would chuckle at Liari's childish deviousness. She thought that if she hit the ball fast enough that she'd score a point while they weren't aware. Zero would have none of it, he's always been a stickler for following the rules of a game. He insulted Liari's knowledge of Earth culture despite being on the planet. It was a fair critique Zero and Ryme took time to learn Earth culture to better assimilate. Yet every turn of the head they were insulted for their lifestyle simply because of their race. He was sure that Dr. Donkey Kong would try to sympathize with Liari. Ryme wasn't sure why, but watching him do it was slowly starting to annoy him. He would do exactly that and then serve the ball directly at him. Ryme would note that this monkey seemed to have really good handling skills with his tail. For most of the others, it seemed to be more of a clothing option than an appendage. Another oddity for Dr. Donkey Kong. "Brother, hit them with the cannon!"The ball wasn't very far from Ryme so he'd move up and form a solid glove with his hands and underhand hit the ball up in the air for his brother. He knew that he had watched enough sports to know what to do next. If not they'd look a little silly, and Ryme would say he was getting too cocky with his hitting. He hoped that the other side could still return, because this is the kind of action that would get them viral. It wasn't like the monkey or the Majin shared in the brother's handsome or dapperness. The crowds continued to grow as they watched these 4 unlikely beach goers start a game. There were already people taking bets, Ryme wished he could have got in on some of that action. He definitely couldn't go take the money with Liari and Dr. DK here. There were even people live streaming their game. This was the kind of fame that the brothers wanted. Win or lose if they managed to go viral it would only help their company in the future. He hoped that Liari would take a couple rounds before she lost it. Still he couldn't manifest it out loud, he never knew exactly how Liari would respond. It was to childish and chaotic to be understandable behavior. The monkey only pretended to understand because this was his first meeting with her.
