In the farthest reaches of space, tucked away in open dark space was Kamae's space station. He had been quietly ticking away at his experiments yet he did so without focus, without reason. He was simply testing this and that on a mechanical level. Artic had utterly humiliated Kamae on namek by destroy it and not only that in a similar manner yet he had succeeded. He had begun to lose all his reasons, the mark on his head had gone quiet now. He couldn't hear Liari's voice and she could not hear his. Not here in this limited space in the middle of no where.
Yet the demon was unfulfilled, having failed Liari utterly and now she was facing an opponent the demon had created only to fail to bring anything. He had given in to his despair, no longer did he answer the summons of his minions or the calls from the USD. He just... sat in silence as he toiled away on meaningless experiments, unable to find the light he had once held. He had failed, and nothing worked. So he had dulled his mind to simply repeative tasks.
Then the door slide open to reveal Seneschal, the alien man slowly approaching before coughing as if to get the demon's attention. Kamae would only life his head slightly and turn to his companion. Nothing creepy about the demon, just a man with a dull expression on his face. Despite it being a broken mess around his mouth, he was just.... bored.
"My lord... Please. Surely there is something we can do..."
The demon had no way to think of escaping, as the mind control was a death sentence. He had to die to have it removed... He could not grow stronger to aid his master, or to oppose her. He had simply... given up hope. He could never take his own life willingly, that went against everything he stood for. All the years of suffering and defeat had lead to this moment. Sent to namek alone, and left to rot, then Artic humiliated the demon beyond compare.
Now he was simply... tired.
"No... I am afraid I cannot. Liari must die and I cannot betray her... You should know I cannot-"
"Yes yes... I am aware."
He couldn't even think of betrayal, as ordered by his master. He would ultimately be forced to kill his companion should he speak of it... but the spark in Seneschals eye's had not diminished. He had a plan, a dastardly plan that just might work. Rubbing his hands together behind his back to hide it from Kamae, who saw but said nothing. The demon could only huff his indifference.
"Look, Seneschal. You are free. You and ramen go... Find something to do."
He was defeated completely and utterly. His divine spark had been trampled, his mind subjugated and then thrown to namek to be forgotten. Now he was on a place, not where he was ordered and with a rotten fruit to show for it. The fruit couldn't be used at all, and was not completely worthless. He had no plans, no devious schemes anymore. All had failed and now? He was just wanting to fade into nothingness and let it all go. He would rot away in the middle of no where alone. Or so he thought.
Seneschal however had other plans, deciding he might as well go now as he was instructed.
"Very well sir... I have some bags to pack... may I?"
It was a lie, and the demon was to tired to care. If the Furred man wished to steal his secrets so be it, his care had diminished beyond the point of return. Waving him away he was convinced Seneschal was going to betray him and flee, yet the furred alien fled into the statins halls until he found the hangar. Inside the massive room lay a communications terminal, to which the minion would contact Artic. Perhaps if nothing else, the minion would seek aid else where.
In truth Seneschal could not watch a brilliant mind like Kamae to just collect dust in a corner like some old book. Surely a better end awaited him? Or perhaps this was just what he got. Regardless, the message was sent as if it was the demon himself. The Minion pretending to set up a meeting of mutual interests for the Changeling and the Demon. He wanted his master to be free again, but he could not help him alone. He knew Kamae would kill anyone one of his minions on the spot if they so much as hinted at betrayal... So Seneschal was forced to used Deception. If nothing else, at least Artic would be insulted enough to at least end the demon... Seneschal was unsure which unsettled him more.

"My lord Arctic! I have received a message from somebody claiming to be Loki! They're requesting an audience with you. Shall I send word back!?" The grunt said as he was stationed at the communications computer in the bridge of the ship. It was a seperate area and away from Arctic's own personal throne room. Arctic had only been in here as he was tracking progress towards Vegeta. At any time, they would be able to land and he'd be able to wipe the saiyan race out from the universe. No longer would they harass and pester the Planet Trade, no longer would they continue to rival his own forces. It was only a matter of time and while Arctic could've wiped the saiyans out in the next few moments but he had decided to prioritize Loki and the request from his ship. After all, if they were to remain on good terms they would need to continue their partnership and that meant Arctic would have to put in equal effort. "Send the word that we shall be arriving shortly and tell the captain of this ship to head to the coordinates." Arctic said his orders with urgency, he was rather curious as to why Loki was seemingly in need of assistance. Given that he had assisted on Namek with the Dragon Balls and that Arctic had wanted Loki's loyalties long term, the best course of action was keeping a very good relation and showing support to Loki's requests. Arctic knew he was going to need individuals with power and unique abilities such as Loki. He'd do anything to retain that.
"Of course Sir!"
The communications officer replied as he passed on the message to the Captain of the ship. Within an instant, the ship had begun to head towards Loki's coordinates. Arctic was rather surprised that it wasn't a planet but in fact it was just the vast openness of space. He couldn't help but wonder if he was having ship troubles or had come under attack during his travels, but he knew that he was going to find out sooner rather than later. It was very possible, that this was just another meeting for a proposition or mutual benefits, regardless of what it was, he was rather eager to find out. If he could grow Loki while he grew his own strength, he'd classify that as an absolute win. Currently, there was no fear of Loki matching him in strength, so the worry of betrayal was non-existent.
It wasn't before long that they had arrived at Loki's space station. It was something massive that Arctic didn't quite expect. Currently, he saw nothing put potential for an outpost for his empire. If he could have a space station so large and mobile, he would be able to deploy troops to any planet within a short amount of time. He couldn't help but start thinking about just how strong his Empire would become if he had managed to purchase and man a dozen of them or so. His forces would essentially be ready at all times, with only a short travel time to each planet and it would completely eliminate the need to ready the fleet from his home planet and send them out. While it was a good idea, this was something that would take time and preparation. It would also take funding.
When they got closer to the giant base that Loki had, the ship would request permission to land before it did so. Once it was acknowledged and confirmed that it was clear, the Captain of Arctic's ship would take the ship to the landing dock and touch down inside. Arctic of course, would give more orders. He had nothing to fear, he was currently the strongest in the universe and he didn't want his troops roaming this place mindlessly. "All of you, stay within our ship. If I request any of your assistance, You'll be summoned. Until then, stay put." With this, Arctic would walk down the landing ramp to his ship and make his way throughout the base. He made his way out and with some assistance from the individuals working on this base, he had eventually made his way to where Loki had been.
Arctic walked into the room casually, his red beady eyes scanning around at the personel manning the ship. His hands were behind his back as his short steps led him to the middle of the room. His eyes had then focused straight in on Loki himself as Arctic got straight to the point. "Loki, While it is a pleasure to see you again I assume you've summoned me for business. Do tell me, what might I assist you with?" Of course, he knew that Loki was a businessman. While he was just making an assumption, he knew this question would clear it up.

The Demon's eyes widened as he looked over his shoulder at none other than Artic. His expression was that of a man who was completely unaware of how someone could have possibly been here. He began to put it all to gather before summoning the strength to stand tall from his chair, and his expression soon hardened. It wasn't that he wasn't glad to see his business partner, but he was beginning to understand he depths of betrayal his companion had gone through.
"Artic... Its good to see you."
Kamae recovered his composure eventually before smiling his way to success as always.
"Well you see... It would appear I have been uh... how you say... Disobeyed and disrespected."
His tone was displeased but it couldn't be helped, he simply stood before the changeling with the look of a man who was defeated. He didn't care truly what was about to happen, he was just ready to accept it.
"Look Artic. We've been had by one of my crew members who I will be sure to decimate beyond any cellular repair when we are finished here. I cannot compensate you for your time, I am afraid I have nothing else to offer you."
Kamae's shoulder's sagged as he just waited patiently for Artic to either explode in rage, kill him or whatever was about to happen. The demon's eyes reflected an unenthusiastic gaze befitting someone who was just losing his purpose continuously. He had no reason to grow stronger, Namek was gone. His orders failed, his goal failed, and he was doomed to be absorbed into some horrible creature. At least if he was recycled he would maybe one day be able to find an escape from that horrible fate, one that chilled him to his core.... But he was unable to go anywhere, do anything, fight anything, or even remotely hope to ever undo the mistakes of the past. So the demon had simply given up completely.
"If anything you killing me would do me a favor at this point haha!"
The demon chuckled coldly, feeling ice run in his veins at the thought of willing death. How low did one have to get before it was finally time for him to just... give up? To hide at the edge of space and do nothing? Yes he felt fantastic enough to live this way forever...
"Regardless I am deeply sorry for this and its clear I have let loose ends slip in my attempt to disappear..."
Kamae smiled his best attempt at smiling before failing as even his twisted grin turned to dead pan and uninterested once more.
"To be frank, this will be the last we speak, regardless of the outcome. Death by your hand or by another. It matters little. Rule well Artic, I have nothing further to offer you so long as..."
The demon then gracefully gestured to the mark upon his head before continuing.
"The mark remains. I dare say nothing I do or you do will ever remove it. It will remain until it kills me and I am eventually consumed in the after life for my failures."
The demon was rambling now and realizing this he quickly went silent once more, unwilling to continue his sob story. All had their tragedy and bullshit. Artic was not here for that, nor did Kamae want it. He just... was tired. A tired old demon who's tricks had gotten him nothing in the end. His best just wasn't good enough.

When Loki had first laid his eyes on Arctic, is was more than obvious that he was caught by surprise. It wasn't him that had sent the request to meet Arctic and while this was something that was rather disappointing, Arctic wasn't going to write it off as a waste of time yet. There still may have been a reason that he was here outside of the request and the universe had a way to put somebody right where they needed to be. He wasn't going to be impatient, he wasn't going to bring down his wrath on Loki for wasting his time. Instead, he was going to take a different approach and investigate the situation further. Perhaps one of Loki's minions had simply tried to due something rash to get Loki killed or perhaps it was something more serious.
"Whether you see it as disobeyed or betrayal, perhaps whomever summoned me is actually working in your favor." Arctic questioned the motives as he didn't wish to rule anything out yet and the more he listened to Loki, the more he learned that he wasn't his normal self. He didn't seem to have the eagerness that he had previously and he was openly talking about being killed, either by Arctic or another.
"You can save your apologies Loki, If you're fearing death by my hand. I can assure you, I have no wish for an outcome such as that. You have proven yourself useful with a very specific set of abilities I find valuable, if anything I'd rather recruit you full time and that isn't to say that your intelligence isn't of value either as that has already benefited me greatly."
Arctic paused for a moment, breaking down his case here by little chunks at a time. He wanted to remain on the subject at hand and work through it systematically. First, he wanted to assure Loki that there was no current threat to himself or his crew and secondly, he wanted to reaffirm that fact that Arctic was here to help if required and it just so seemed like Loki required some.
"If it's death by the hand of another, I have nothing but confidence that I can rectify that for you if you provide me with the details of the situation. After all, you did assist me to gather this level of strength. It would be a shame to watch such intelligence as yourself die off now." With this statement, he was following up about it all. The another person that Loki deemed a threat, the mark and what it entailed. He wanted every bit of information he could gather to formulate a plan to rid Loki of the other dangerous individual. Whether that be Arctic simply killing them or coming to a deal, there wasn't anything off the table so long as it was mutually beneficial for Arctic. In the case of Loki, he required his abilities and his mind to be within his empire but he also wanted to provide Loki with a much higher purpose within the Empire if he so chose that path.

Kamae was amused by the Changelings assumption he didn't want to die by his hand, and he was beginning suspect that was seneschals goal. To at least free Kamae in some way, but he wasn't sure how much he enjoyed that idea as he was sure to be hunted when she noticed him being absent... He supposed asking to be immediately soul reincarnated... Yes, that was it... That was what he would do when he died. A Strange smile for a man becoming slowly unhinged further and further in despair.
"Fear of death... My dear Artic... Hehehe.. I don't fear death hehahahaha!"
The demons body beginning to shake violently as he wrapped himself up in his arms, likely hugging himself through he was unaware of the action.
"I have been dead Artic... Hehehahaha! I lived for nearly two thousand years without a body! HAHAHA... gods that was so long ago."
Kamae's eyes trailed off as he began to fill himself slip a bit, only to pull himself back again. His whole frame unwrapping itself as he composed himself once more.
"Damn it. Agh, get it together Kamae."
The demon would slap himself across the head, as if rejamming something unseen back into his head as his eyes hung open wide. He was afraid, and he hated it. He had no purpose... and he hated it... He was helpless..... and he hated it.
"You don't understand Artic... Should I betray her in any way she will know. I cannot put a target on her as much as I want to, and I am not sure it wise to give me hope anymore Lord."
Kamae couldn't help but chuckle, his chuckle however was unhinged. Clearly he was not healthy mentally anymore, the fear of permanent death saturated his very being, and as such he had experienced the ultimate disgrace... Kamae was tired.
"But I can, her name is Liari. She is a Majin and she had branded him with her magic."
The sound of a male voice rang out as a different minion of Kamae approached, the saiyan kneeling behind Artic and followed by Seneschal. The beastkin standing massively and his ears nearly touched the roof. The modified dog man simply smiled as he looked down at the Changeling lord, bowing gracefully before walking past. Though he was about to die, he had a smile upon his face.
"It was me that called you Lord Artic, in hopes you would save our master. That our lives will be of use to our master."
Seneschal turned to look at Artic, as the very fur on his body began to flake away as if the wind of some invisible force was blowing on it.
"He is rather stubborn, and the magic has taken a deep hold. He will kill us shortly, so do try and free him... he could be valuable."
"Silence..."
Those were the words of command that was Seneschals end, the wolf man suddenly turning into a green liquid that splashed across the surface of the lab. Dead organic matter that had rotted beyond recognition, and was so far gone that even the stink of a corpse was gone. It was only a strange acrid smell, similar to sulfur or rotten eggs. Beyond that Seneschal had been turned into nothing but a small liquid of dead organic matter. Ramen's eyes steeled themselves for his coming death as well.
"Liari's mind control is to strong for our master and he is to proud to admit it. We die to say what he cannot. He is a weakling and that fucked mark will kill him if he-"
Kamae didn't even give the saiyan a command, the saiyan seizing up as he felt his insides begin to shift. Kamae couldn't do this to strong people of course, but the weak were so... malleable and flexible... Ramen's eyes would bulge before he too joined his friend in death. The demon simple going silent before looking Artic in the eyes.
"Artic... I planned to feed you to Liari at one point. That plan failed and you destroyed namek. My mission is gone. I cannot betray my master. Not even for you and our deal. As much as I want."
Kamae sighed before turning his back on the emperor, and returning to his seat. His defeated look returned as he went back to his dull workings of dull interests.
"My master will kill me should I present that I failed to get the seed, or even a fruit. She will then consume me putting me in infinite limbo. I will never be able to die, and she claims to be able to wipe my personality along with it. No returning from that. Even if I do die by your hand, she will sense my release and simply go to where I will be forced to. So Unless you can kill a creature that can ressurect itself even better than "I" can and I can reconstruct myself on the genetic level. This woman... can regenerate at the atomic. Beyond my scopes and scales. She will eventually grow tired of waiting, of my reluctance to see her or answer her calls. She will eventually see who I am. A coward!"
With that Kamae threw his desk across the room into the darkness were it disappeared with a boom.
"Cornered like a rat! Sick like a dog waiting for the disease to kill me! What a fitting end for the once great demon Sankishin Kamae Ghoun! Revered god of a dead people in a different realm!!!"
Kamae slashed his hand across the surface of his lab, as if clawing the painting of a canvas. The lab beginning to morph and warp into his twisted angered vision. Gnarled trees, dogs of wood and metal from the desks and floor began to claw their way free as he watched on in disgust.
"Bah, you care nothing for this! Find someone else Artic, I am doomed. Leave me to die alone."
Kamae waved dismissively before walking unsteadily deeper into his lab. His sway in his step betrayed the unhinged state Kamae was growing and finding himself in. He was happy when he had fought Liari and she was willing to spar. But then the betrayal... Now he was unable to find reliable places or people. The man owned a whole government division and he couldn't even find a single person to train with. No machines who couldn't push him even if they tried. He could unmake them but with a glance.
No he needed material, organic beings who could not only withstand his attacks, but help him grow. Yet no one was around. He was truly... alone. He had just killed his only two friends in the galaxy, and as he stumbled into the darkness, he was fully prepared to disappear forever and let Artic take whatever he wanted from the station. He didn't care anymore. The demon walked past his jacket as he grabbed hold of his jacket hanging nearby to throw it on. It was going to be a cold night.

Arctic would listen to Loki with his fullest of intentions, it didn't take a professional to see that Loki was going through something serious at this moment in time and instead of seeing it as a weakness, Arctic's viewpoint went on to be curious about what the strength could be that was breaking this man. He wasn't the same demon he was on Namek, he wasn't as collected or confident with his words or his abilities. He wasn't thriving in pursuit of research or his own goals, he was rambling on about death and how he had faced it before. This demon needed to be brought back to the present and be shown that he had reassurance that everything was going to be fine. He had the universes Emperor in his ship with the resources, the wealth and the power to solve almost any issue that he requested.
"Whether you fear death or not, doesn't quite matter to me now. Nor does the fact that you've experienced it before for such a duration. You may fail to realize the potential that's standing before you. My strength alone is unmatched in this universe as it stands and I'm more than willing to deal with whomever is holding this leash."
As he listened on, it was evident that he couldn't betray her. So forcing him to speak wasn't going to work but Arctic needed more information, he needed to get to the bottom of this. Who exactly was responsible for this? If he could at least find a name and a location, he could go there and deal with it rather quickly. Either he'd slaughter the one behind it or force them to release Loki if he could find a way for all parties to mutually benefit. While Arctic was powerful, he still lacked the numbers required to hold onto the universe and he knew he couldn't be everywhere at once.
Just before Arctic was going to make his attempt to investigate and try and get some form of direction, one of the soldiers had piped up and began to speak. He was brave for speaking out in a room with this audience but he was useful so Arctic had no issues listening to the details of it all. He would then go on to listen to Loki in full so he could explain the situation to the best of his ability, or at least he best that he could given the circumstances. While Arctic had been somewhat surprised with his honesty and how he had planned to feed Arctic to this Liari creature, he wasn't going to act on this. While it may have been a death penalty back on Namek to hear of this news, there hadn't been anything in this universe that could kill Arctic now and his focus was on building up his forces to secure his empire throughout the galaxy. His finger came to his chin as he tapped it a few times, thinking rapidly on how best to proceed with the information that he was given.
One thing he couldn't help but notice, was the brutality of Loki's swift judgement upon his soldiers. It had reminded him of his own brutal ways, but in this case even Arctic had felt it undeserving. The soldiers may have stepped out of line but them stepping out of line may be the very thing that was required in order for Loki to be freed of this cursed magic.
"Interesting. I don't care what your intentions were on Namek or if you were trying to feed me to this creature. The course of your actions didn't lead you to that decision and therefore, It isn't something I am concerned about.. as for this Liari and her regeneration.."
He paused for a moment as a light, evil chuckle escaped his lips. "If she can regenerate from even the smallest scale, I'll just have to vaporize every trace of her. Now won't I? I can destroy planets without even the slightest amount of effort and I highly doubt that she'd pose any more difficult. I wouldn't stress about the situation you find yourself in Loki. I do believe I can free your from your chains."
When Loki had gone on about a fitting end to the great demon, Arctic shook his head as he disagreed. There was many options to get him out of this situation. All he needed now was a location and where to find this creature. Whatever happened there, this Liari didn't stand a chance. Whether she'd died in combat or give into Arctic's demands to free Loki. This was going to be something that was seen through to the end. Arctic was a man of his word when he wasn't deceiving his opponents and he wasn't playing any deception here. He didn't need to deceive anybody anymore for he had great power to take the role of that and fear was a wonderful thing. With Loki trying to dismiss Arctic and turning his back, Arctic had now finally got annoyed.
"I tell you now, Loki. This shall be the only instance I allow you to turn your back to me in such a manner. Now I shall provide you with two options. You can either retreat to your lab and accept your fate, ending the legacy of the Great Demon all on your own accord or.. or you can give me the location of this Liari and I can free you from your chains, permanently."
The choice was now his..

Kamae paused as he felt Artic's stare into his back as he spoke, the arcosians words echoing in the empty lab. The demon thought long and hard about how he was about to phrase his words next. Betrayal was denied by the mark, he would need to be careful about how he spoke next... But then again... He had never thought about trying something utterly insane. Yet he supposed if he was going to do it, and risk death why stop now? If all of this was for his existence, then the only gamble option was his very life.
Closing his eyes, the demon would hold his hands up on each side of his head. He was a soul, a portion of a greater whole. If one were to inflict damage upon the other half...
*CRACK*
The sound of bone being pierced as his index finger jabbed into the side of his head, looking as if he had just committed suicide to any sane person. But to anyone with knowledge such as Kamae, they would have noticed he had just pierced the lower end of the skull. He had just damaged his memories with physical force, the brain causing him to seize up as he stood in place for a moment. His mind was a white haze as he tried to remember what he was doing just moments ago. He felt agonizing pain in his neck but the damage was nothing compared to what he had suffered against Liari.
Removing his fingers, the demon turned to Artic as his eyes unrolled from his head. The spell was one that effected the mind, and Kamae had just scrambled his own brain which housed the mind. His eyes were dilated, his nose was bleeding and he was struggling to hold back choking.
"Earth."
That was all he could say more, he was not in danger of ending his own life with the majin mark, but he was certainly struggling to find ways to blatantly betray Liari. He quickly recovered however, the wound at the base of his skull quickly sealing up as he used magic to reconstruct his flesh. He still hurt like hell but rolling his neck he was able to tell he had completely reconstructed his cells perfectly. Wiping away the blood and cleaning himself like a gentlemen, the demon sighed as he closed his eyes. His brain was still recovering as he let his magic work, thankfully he hadn't forgotten that, but he certainly didn't remember the last few moments. He had simply damaged his brain slightly enough to effect short term memory.
The fact he hadn't gone brain dead in that last moment was a miracle frankly. Sure he had done so with precision thanks to his special eyes and senses... but he had done something incredibly risky for a chance to tell Artic where Liari was. He wouldn't do that again, and he didn't even know if he had told Artic where she truly was. Frankly it was impossible to know where she was at any one time.. Kamae couldn't for sure but the majin mark had been his only source to know. He couldn't sense energy.
"Thrice damned hells that hurt... HURTS. Agh."
Kamae stated rubbing his neck where his wound had been, which thankfully didn't scar but he had stitch himself together so that wasn't possible... but He always worried. Once the magic finished its touches, Kamae reopened his eyes to stare at the ground.
"Fuckin hell, excuse my language... The only person who has managed to get me to mutilate myself of my own accord was... an old friend of mine. You must really have authority in you to make even me take this chance. Or perhaps I am that desperate to live. Regardless... I cannot give you exact coordinates, the majin mark prevents this. I cannot betray Liari by simply pointing her enemies at her. I am bound to her Artic... But thankfully I am fully aware I'd die if I so much as touched you. Even without sensing Ki I can tell you are far beyond me and death would be instant. So the majin mark cannot make me commit suicide against you. But know that this mark prevents me from aiding you against my master... I am sorry Artic. This is.... an afflection I am cursed with. One I cannot cure. But should I suddenly find myself cured..."
Kamae Looked Artic dead in the eyes, yellow serpent eyes narrowing to barely a sliver of black to his iris.
"I will make you wonderful toys of conquest, and you will have my knowledge at your fingertips till the day you die. I will serve you willingly emperor..."
Kamae felt his shoulders sag however as his energy left him, he was at yet another persons mercy. Goodness how he was pathetic. But he was alive, and that was all that mattered. He was a rat in the walls of the universe currently, and he felt it. Now he was just indebted to someone else, but one day... one day he would be free. Free to explore once more... But what more could he learn?
That dawning realization made the demon pause, his eyes widening in shock as the thought processed. He could alter the worlds about him, heal almost any disease known to mortal kind, reconstruct flesh with his mind and deconstruct weaklings like they were nothing but jelly... What more could he possibly want? He could see the very structure of any living being, and he was strong enough... He supposed when Artic was through with him... He would simply find some place to... disappear. Yes, one final job. He had everything he could possibly want, and if freedom was all he needed...
"I hope you are not underestimating her, I cannot sense energy nor do I know the depths of you or her power. I have simply been on the outskirts of the galaxy trying to survive. I had allies... but they are gone now. I do not know where they went. So I am at your mercy Artic. I will serve you faithfully till your death."
Kamae bowed gracefully before looking tiredly at the floor.

Arctic couldn't help but glance curiously at Loki as he appeared to have committed suicide right there in front of him. This wasn't like anything he had ever seen before. Yet, no permanent damage had been done and Loki had seemed to be completely fine. Whatever the purpose of this was, Arctic wasn't going to ask any questions. He knew Loki was a very intelligent individual and he wasn't going to go around and question his actions. He believed that Loki was very articulated with his planning and he knew how to make the right move to best benefit himself and while he was stressing under duress, Arctic didn't believe he'd completely break.
With the word of Earth being spoken, Arctic couldn't help but smirk. He wouldn't have to go out of his way to track down this Liari individual for Earth was the next planet he was going to visit. The Planet itself was safe from destruction but he did want to enslave it's people and take it's resources for his own planet. He wanted Frost to grow in wealth and reputation and to do that he was going to need planets to support him financially and with their own resources. Now none would do this on their own accord, Arctic could force them to make it so.
"You're in luck, as Earth is my next destination after I have dealt with Vegeta. I'll make it a priority to track this Liari down and deal with your little.. issue."
Finally, there had been an explanation for what had just occured in front of him. He damaged himself in order to provide Arctic with even more information about Liari. While this had only been her location, it was more than enough for Arctic to track her down. He was going to Earth and she was there on that planet. It was only a matter of time until the two of them ran into each other. Especially given that they were both powerful and Arctic was going to conquer the planet. Loki would then vow to serve Arctic and Arctic couldn't help but nod and smile.
"If you do serve me, I shall give you a position of importance. A position that will allow you to have your own freedom and run the course of your own life. Of course, there will be restrictions to a degree and you must run your position with Frost and myself as the priority benefactors."
This was a simple business arrangement, he wasn't going to enslave Loki such in a way that Liari did. He wanted Loki to have a freedom in his own life. He would get to choose how things played out and what course of actions to take so long as Frost was priority. Though at this point, the warning about this Liari had come to surface.
"I shall tell you this, Loki. I have become the most powerful being in this universe. This Liari individual will not cause me much trouble, if any at all. What I have said to you shall be a promise and one that I will not fail to deliver onto you."

Kamae said nothing as Artic spoke up and he felt... oddly out of touch with people this days it seemed. Artic spoke as if someone who wished for Kamae to regain his life, yet he wished to conquer the galaxy. Tyrants and emperors sure had changed on him, but he could do nothing but bow. He could think of no other words to say to Artic in that moment, gratitude filled the demon yet some part of him resented this. Had he truly fallen so far? Had he truly let someone else take the reins?
"Thank you Artic."
Someone as proud of Kamae bowing in gratitude to another and meaning it. His stomach turned at his pathetic behavior... How low had the demon gotten to be so indentured that he would seek salvation like this? Had his life truly come down to someone giving him the right to live? Ahh he supposed the once proud entity known as Sankishin Kamae ghoun had died... Perhaps he was truly losing who he was or perhaps... he was never who he thought he was to begin with. That thought sent a chill down kamae's spine as he thought about that implication. That perhaps he had truly lost who he was in that void and now placed in a realm of monsters beyond Kamae's understanding... He was just a worm for the larger birds to toss about till they grow tired of it.
"I have much to think upon... Much to reflect on I do believe."
He didn't know what else to say, and he closed his eyes at his own failings. Though he didn't show it on his face, the demons stoic expression showing none of his inner turmoil, he did eventually level his gaze with Artic.
"As you say Emperor."
Anything to stay alive... but at what cost to ones self had Kamae begun to escape death at this point? Only time would tell.

Upon hearing of Loki's thanks, Arctic shook his head in dissmissal. It wasn't something he required at this point in time. After all, he hadn't accomplished anything yet. Once his own mission had been complete and he managed to free Loki from Liari's influence, then it would be the time for his thanks. Until then, it wasn't required in the slightest.
"Save your thanks until you're free of her. Once I've completed my task, you can be grateful but until then. Simply wait for the news of my success."
Arctic had no doubts about being able to keep his word. After all, he was currently the most powerful being in the universe. At least to his knowledge. This Liari would need to fold to his demand or face being killed. There really wasn't going to be any other way out of it. For Liari, her options would be very limited to how she could get away with her life. With Loki saying he had much to reflect on, it was the perfect time for Arctic to take his leave. After all, he still had lots he needed to accomplish on his own. He had large plans and the destruction of Vegeta was near.
"I understand."
His arms folded behind his back once more as he made his way to the exit.
"Until we meet again, Loki."
It was at this point that Arctic made his leave from the room and headed down to his ship. He didn't waste much time getting on it and leaving this wonderful base that Loki had acquired. He knew that there was a very powerful alliance between them in the future and if he could manage to get Loki working permanently for his cause, he would find himself in a great place. Loki was smart, had the potential to be very powerful. He would be a very useful assistant.
