Location: Master Pybara's Training Grounds; Planet Yardrat
Powerlevel: 290,921
In the far reaches of the universe lay the serene and enigmatic world of Yardrat. It is a planet with diverse landscapes, ranging from sprawling plains to rocky terrains and dense forests. The planet's vibrant ecosystem supports various indigenous species, some of which have evolved to harness the planet's unique energy. Amidst its vast landscapes and shimmering energies, a lone figure stood, his silhouette etched against the horizon as the twin suns dipped below the horizon. Callion, a Saiyan warrior, had ventured far from the planet Earth, seeking enlightenment and strength on this distant planet.
The air hummed with a palpable energy, a force that wove through the very fabric of Yardrat's essence. Callion, garbed in traditional Yardratian robes, stood atop a precipice, gazing at the iridescent skies that adorned the planet's tapestry. He had chosen this world as his sanctuary, a haven to refine his abilities beyond the scope of Saiyan doctrine. It felt, in his own way, nostalgic to the many years of his time on the Planet Bhupal, back during his days as a Monk with the Monsol Monks of that planet; the very Orc like beings that raised him as one of their own when he crashed landed on their planet many years ago as a baby.
Weeks had passed since his arrival. The teachings of Master Pybara, a revered sage of Yardrat, had guided Callion through the intricacies of Spirit Control. Under the serene tutelage of Pybara, Callion sought a harmony between the raw strength of his Saiyan lineage and the tranquil wisdom cultivated on Yardrat that had reawakened his Monk upbringing on Planet Bhupal.
In the sanctum of the training grounds, Callion immersed himself in the disciplines of the Yardratian way. In his studies, Callion learnt that the Yardratians are a peaceful and hospitable race, deeply connected to the spiritual aspects of their world. Their society values meditation, discipline, and the pursuit of knowledge. They have ancient traditions that revolve around the manipulation of ki and energy. Meditation became his anchor, a practice that unveiled the depths of his own spirit and the boundless potential within. He honed his control over ki, shaping it with finesse that mirrored the intricate dance of the planet's energy currents.
Among the whispers of the wind and the ethereal glow of Yardrat's flora, Callion's nature shined brightly during his time on this particular planet. He was a paradox—a Saiyan tempered by experiences that transcended mere battles, a warrior sculpted by life's tapestry of loss and resilience. His demeanor, a tranquil pool beneath a warrior's surface, bespoke a depth that echoed the wisdom of ages. By his standards, he is a young pure-blooded Saiyan, and yet possessing the wisdom and intelligence beyond his years, a rare feat and yet one he continues to be humble despite everything his life’s journey had brought him.
Through the Astral Projection Telepathy technique he was inspired from King Kai’s simple telepathy, Callion occasionally cast half his consciousness across the cosmos, glimpsing fragments of distant worlds and the echo of turmoil that traversed the universe, whilst the other half continued training and living on Yardrat like it was nothing – multitasking at its finest. Yet, his focus remained steadfast on the path laid before him on Yardrat's hallowed grounds.
In the heart of this serene planet lay the threads of his transformation. Each day, as the suns rose and set, Callion delved deeper into the essence of Yardrat, melding Saiyan tenacity with the measured grace of the Yardratian teachings. He knew that his quest for strength was not solely about physical prowess but the culmination of mind, spirit, and an unyielding resolve.
As he stood, his gaze fixed upon the horizon, a sense of purpose coursed through him—an unspoken promise to himself and the universe. Callion, the anomaly among Saiyans, the forged sword tempered by life's crucible, was poised to transcend the boundaries of his heritage and embrace a destiny woven from the essence of Yardrat's wisdom.
But where exactly does this current setting of Callion take place? Well, Callion currents resides close to the main training grounds of Yardrat, within the Mountain Sanctuary: Nestled within the embrace of Yardrat's grandeur, the Mountain Sanctuary stood as a testament to spiritual dedication and disciplined training. It was here, secluded from the bustling energies of the main temple, that Callion found his refuge. A labyrinth of winding paths, adorned with luminescent flora, guided seekers to the sanctuary. Callion trod the secluded trail, each step an invocation to the serenity that awaited atop the mountain. The air crackled with the harmonious hum of Yardrat's energies, a symphony that resonated within the very soul.
At the mountain's peak lay the Tranquil Grove—a serene clearing ensconced by ancient, gnarled trees that whispered tales of millennia. Here, the very essence of Yardrat's spiritual energy pooled, bathing the area in a soft, ethereal glow. Callion often sought solace amidst the tranquility of this grove, the whispers of the wind echoing the wisdom of ages past. Carved into the heart of the mountain, the Meditation Chambers were sanctums of quiet reflection and focused discipline. Each chamber bore the mark of Yardrat's intricate designs, etched in shimmering symbols that resonated with the planet's ki. Here, Callion delved into the depths of his being, honing his focus and communing with the energies that coursed through the planet.
Ascending further up the mountain, a solitary pinnacle stood—shrouded in a swirling vortex of pure energy. This was the apex of Yardratian training, a place where Callion challenged the boundaries of his own capabilities. The raw power that emanated from this pinnacle was a testament to the profound depths of Yardrat's teachings. Amidst this vast sanctuary, nestled within a secluded alcove, lay Callion's personal training grounds. A serene enclave shielded from prying eyes, it bore the imprint of his dedication and tireless pursuit of strength. Here, he practiced the delicate balance between Saiyan prowess and Yardratian wisdom, channeling energies amidst the tranquil backdrop of Yardrat's vibrant landscape.
In this private haven, the echoes of Callion's resolve resonated through the serene air. With each movement, each meditation, and each communion with the energies of Yardrat, he forged a path towards a mastery that transcended the realms of ordinary warriors. This secluded retreat, veiled from the world's gaze, bore witness to the evolution of a Saiyan tempered by the tranquility of Yardrat.
As Yardrat's twin suns painted the horizon in hues of amber and gold, Callion emerged from his meditation chamber, his presence a silent testament to the dedication that fueled his quest for strength. With the morning's first light, Callion settled into a state of deep meditation. He sat cross-legged in the Tranquil Grove, surrounded by the gentle whispers of nature. In this ethereal haven, he communed with the planet's energies, attuning his spirit to the ebb and flow of Yardrat's ki. Each breath synchronized with the harmonies of the universe, fostering a serene clarity within.
However, what Callion didn’t expect during his initial morning training of meditation was that he was about to have a visitor…

Power. That was all that mattered in the universe. Motives, goals, intentions... All meaningless to those that have it and except it. Those that do understand that without POWER, the ability to overcome obstacles and assert yourself over something else, there is nothing but stagnation. It draws in, it pushes away, it crushes things down or builds them up... It is the universal constant that defines the laws of motion in the universe... And it defined people as well. A deep blue Majin assembled upon the planes of Yardrat, an alien world off in its own little corner. She had chased this signature across space, slicing through distance as if it were water, determined to find its source! Familiarity with this power, it pulled at the back of her mind as if a chain were attached to it, drawing her nearer and nearer... and activating one feeling in particular: HUNGER. The closer the creature got, the more she felt the power's size, its density, its sheer presence pulsating across her form! When she arrived on this alien world, her own signature FLARING across the planet, she couldn't help but stand there... and take it in. A... bit of nostalgia washed over Liari, images of Callion flashing before her shut eyes as she stood amongst the fog. For some reason, she was reminded of that long-haired Monk, the one that trained her... and then was consumed, granting her the awesome power she now held. ...But why did this signature remind her of HIM? He was dead and this signature was far more... tranquil than his at the time, controlled, like water in a cookie-cutout: It was as if it would take any shape one would wish was easily as breathing, never thinking of escaping, merely contorting its owner's wishes. Even if it were a long time ago, Liari remembered the chaotic madness underneath Callion's noble facade. The look she had seen behind those eyes, the ugliness of his smile, the broken restraints... Why, it reminded her so much of herself now. ...This power might have a similar taste, but she didn't sense those churning depths beneath. ...How boring. ...But he was powerful, easily one of the strongest things she had ever sensed. Earth? Vegeta? Frost? All of them, this power could CRUSH to dust if it put its mind to it. In other words... a perfect plaything. Liari had spent so long making fun out of substandard toys. Little humans and Saiyans and their halfling children all wanting a piece of her... only when their friends crawled out of their holes with them like ANTS. She had to make sport of stomping little weaklings to DUST under her boots, rending them from the planet... and eventually, even these foolish idealists would stop coming. Liari was left alone, not a single challenger either willing or able to oppose her. She was left on her own, to the quiet of the world, the pangs of her hunger reverberating louder than EVER in her ears. ...It drove her MAD at times... and sometimes, it really did. Cities have met their end at the Majin's madness, blown to smithereens in the desperate drive to satisfy the hole inside. She was HUNGRY for some kind of entertainment, SOMETHING that would get her attention, SOMTHING that she could bring every drop of her energy to bare against! She was starving for a challenge... but if one wouldn't come in reaction to HER power, ...Then she'd go to it, herself! "Hey, are we having a party!?" Liari's face manifested in front of the meditating monk, flashing cubes assembling into the shape of a blue-skinned woman! Her hand came around as it manifested, a pink energy-sphere ARCHING around to SLAM into the stranger's face in a surprise attack! Honor...? Pride...? What were those? If attacking him from nowhere made this anomaly willing to throw hands, then she would use ALL the dirty tricks she knew to enrage him! Should the attack connect and the monk was sent flying, Liari's arm would elongate like a snake, aiming to grab the man by his boot and WHIP him down to the ground... before dragging him around in a jagged circle across the rough Yardrattian soil and HURLING him in the air!
"HehehehehehehaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BECAUSE PARTIES TEND TO BLOW UP AROUND ME!" Liari cupped her hands behind herself, dark, evil energy coagulating between her palms! "KAMEHAME.... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" THROWING her hands forward, a DEEP blue/black energy-wave would SHOOT up towards the stranger, aiming to strike him DEAD on in the sky! Upon impact a vicious explosion would ROCK the world of Yardrat, blowing apart any cloud formations, flattening the ground below, sending shockwaves throughout the atmosphere! Only one dark smoke-cloud would linger in the sky above. Below, Liari grinned, steam wisping off her hands. Oh, she was proud of that little one-liner... WC: 808

Callion continued to sit atop the pinnacle of the Mountain Sanctuary – within his personal training ground that the Yardratians provided to the Saiyan, his mind immersed in the tranquil depths of meditation. The energies of Yardrat flowed around him, a soothing symphony that harmonized with his focused thoughts. Unbeknownst to him, the universe had its own plans for the monk on this serene planet. As the majin, Liari, arrived on Yardrat, her presence disrupted the peaceful energies that surrounded Callion. The alien world's tranquillity shattered as if a storm had descended upon it. Callion sensed the familiar energy and presence of the Majin, as if he knew that she – of all people – would come to fight, the thrill of battle, and for her to come back from the dead as he did… Well, it was only a matter of when, and sadly, she came to him far too quickly before he had the chance to fully become stronger. Though not all was lost, he had been progressing well in the short span of time on Yardrat. It was then, without warning, the majin materialized in front of him, her energy coalescing into a shocking display of hostility. Before Callion could react – or even react at all due to still being in a meditating state, a sphere of pink energy collided with his face, sending him sprawling backward, his body flying like a ragdoll as it collided to the wall, causing a rumble from the impact. Liari's twisted amusement echoed in his ears as his form was seized and whipped across the rough Yardrattian soil. In the moments before he was hurled into the air, Callion's consciousness stirred from its meditative state. The cacophony of destruction reached his senses, and his eyes snapped open just in time to see the dark energy wave hurtling towards him. In that moment, something within Callion shifted. His eyes narrowed, and his hands moved with an instinctual grace. The air around him shimmered as he infused his palms with ki, and with a swift motion, he split the oncoming Kamehameha in half. The dark energy wave divided, creating a path of destruction on either side of Callion, leaving him untouched in the centre. The explosion rocked the skies and the ground, the force of the split wave dispersing the energy across the heavens. Amidst the chaos, Callion's resolve remained unwavering. He hovered in the air, eyes focused on the majin below, his expression unwavering. "You seek chaos where there is tranquillity," Callion's voice resonated, his calm demeanour contrasting sharply with the chaos that Liari had unleashed. “Liari… I should’ve known you’d return.” Callion spoke softly, his eyes opened as he looked at the Majin whilst he hovered in the air, wiping the dust off his shoulders once the cloud formations dispersed. Callion took the moment to analyse and gaze at Liari for a moment, his eyes checked her from head to toe, on the one hand, looking much different to what she used to last time, and yet on the other hand, she appeared to be somewhat reminiscing to her very first basic form, but taller and more refined, at least in his own vision to what he was looking at. Callion remained in the air a little longer, allowing the tension and in the area to continue as he slowly descent, his eyes completely focused on the majin. “You certainly look different.” The Saiyan said as his feet landed on the floor, taking a moment to breath in and out, as he slowly walked towards her, his eyes focused. “In a way… I’m actually happy that you came back. Truly, I am. It’ll be nice to talk and fight you.” The Saiyan said as he closed his eyes, as a burst of energy shot forward, and in a mere moments, Callion’s power level and energy spikes from what started out as something being contained and kept to a minimum only began to sky rocket, his hair spiked up in a bright platinum gold, and his eyes a crimson red as he turned in a Mastered Super Saiyan, his eyes looked at the Majin. “As always, your thirst for destruction clouds your perception, creating ripples of chaos in this serene world. But your power isn't just a tool for devastation. It can be tempered, honed for something greater." Callion spoke, as he moved at a blinding speed and went for a strong uppercut to Liari to the chin, hoping to send her up to the sky as he followed her close behind and travelled in speed. “So consider this both your opportunity to fight and your lesson. Because no matter what, I am going to be there for you no matter what, even if I have to knock some sense into you.”His voice, calm and measured, resonates through the aftermath of the collision, reaching out to the blue-skinned Majin before him. His eyes, once closed in meditation, now fixate on her with an unwavering gaze, a glimmer of understanding beneath the surface of his serene countenance and even a smile on his face as he entered into a fighting stance, needless to say, Callion has learnt a great deal of how to teach others, and with Liari he knew that to get through to this particular majin was through combat to be stronger, and no matter how tranquil he was, his very nature of his Saiyan instincts were kicking in something fierce and boy… He really wanted to fight right now.

"Oh... YES..." Liari swooned, watching in both AWE... and hunger as the long-haired Saiyan SLICED through her Kamehameha! It was by far her weakest, simplest technique, but seeing such a display from a monkey in his BASE form... Oh, she was going to have so much fun... The Majin's blood DANCED inside of her as she locked eyes with the man... and it was only JUST NOW that she put the pieces together... that this was that IMPOSTER Callion! RIGHT! ONLY NOW was she paying enough attention to his face that she picked up on the details! After she ate the original, THIS one showed up and started proclaiming himself the same man, waxing all lyrical just as the original did... and putting on quite a good impression to! She supposed it was only natural that this wannabe would train in the same way!
...Perhaps he was TOO good of a copycat... because he started off accusing her of bringing chaos to order... as if she would EVER think so abstractly!
"SHUTUP! SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP! DON'T RUIN THE MOMENT LIKE THAT!" Liari screeched, shaking her head excitedly! "Lets just skip to the fighting, okay!? LET'S JUST GET TO THE POINT WHERE I BEAT YOU UP~!" ...But nope THIS Callion was determined to prove himself and began is rosey speech. Steam PLOOMED out of the Majin as she swelled up in anger, repetitive plooms of impatient smoke blasting out of the holes lining her body! She. DID NOT. WAIT THIS LONG. FOR A SPEECH! ...Yet it still came. And Liari had enough respect for her toy's power to wait it out... for a while.
...Callion did not disappoint in the first part though, his body suddenly EXPLODING IN GOLDEN LIGHT! Liari's eyes widened as his energy SURGED FORTH in a violent yellow explosion, his hair growing radically more defined and spiker as his eyes flashed a sinister shade of red! He stared down Liari with a kind of calm intensity, looking upon the Majin with a frustratingly neutral expression! The Majin, though, couldn't help but let out a long, drawn out squeak of eagerness, practically hopping from foot-to-foot as her TRUE prize revealed itself!
"A Super Saiyan..." She whispered giddily! "...Not the one I was looking for, but I'll take it! Oh, the fights we'll have... I'll never have to put up with weaklings agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain! HeeheeheeHEEEEEEE~!" Callion noted how different the Majin looked and Liari giggled some more, brushing aside one of her bang-tentacles as if it were a lock of hair!
"You like it? It's in fashion this season, or so all the people I've eaten tell me! Personally, I think I'm rather cute~!" If they were going to banter, Liari might as well lean into self-aggrandizement. "I'm a TOTALLY different person than that kid ever was, though! EVERYTHING you see here is just the surface!" ...Callion continued undaunted, remarking that it was... nice to see her again despite... you know... everything. Liari blinked, not expecting such a wholesome remark in the presence of such tension. Was... Was he trying to defuse this whole encounter? TRICK her into thinking that MAYBE he was the real Callion and that MAAAAAYBE this whole fight didn't need to happen!? She narrowed her eyes at the man suspiciously and scoffed at his comment!
"Are you done yet? CAN WE FIGHT NOW!?" Liari demanded. ...Callion just continued. BOY did he love to talk...
...Liari's expression dropped as Callion accused her of being an agent of chaos, that all she wants is destruction and devastation. She groaned and held her face in her hands, hunching over, then leaning back as she did in UTTER FRUSTRATION!
"No... no, NO! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SMART, CALLION! HOW COULD YOU STILL THINK THAT!?" She ripped her hands away from her face, her fingers curled into claws at her sides! "It was never about 'destruction,' YOU IDIOT!" Liari's scream SHOOK the very planet upon which they all stood, rock EXPLODING under her feet, the atmosphere SPLITTING above them, the very fabrics of reality threatening to PULL APART around her as her energy BURST FORTH! Black, red, and purple ki surged around the Majin, bulging veins arched over her forehead, across her shoulders and arms, her eyes flashing an ENRAGED sanguine!
"IT WAS ABOUT FUN! IT WAS ALWAYS ABOUT FUN! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR STUPID, THICK HEAD!" She pointed at her head with both hands! "THINK, CALLION! ALL I EVER WANTED WAS TO HAVE FUN! ...And I COULD NEVER get your attention long enough to get it! No matter WHAT I did, no matter HOW strong I got, you and your stupid friends always left me by myself! ...And I was SO BORED." She then pointed at Callion. "SO I turned up the heat! BIT BY BIT I did things to get your attention but nothing worked! Nothing... Until I started piling BODIES on your doorstep! YOUR STUPID LITTLE HUMANS DIED because THAT'S what it took to get your attention! THAT is why I do what I do because NOTHING LESS will turn your head, Callion!"
...She then smiled oddly, Liari's posture relaxing somewhat.
"But that doesn't matter anymore, now that I know about YOU. Now that I know you're alive, I can come see you whenever I want! I have you... and now that I do, I'm NEVER letting you go." Callion, his expression hardening, declared that Liari was still a child that needed to be taught, a notion Liari sneered at and rolled her eyes! "Oh, please! EVEN YOU can't be that naiv-"
THE FIGHT BEGAN IN EARNEST!
Callion, even without any obvious talent in teleportation, was able to ZIP right up to the Majin without her noticing his approach! A fist clocked RIGHT UP under her jaw, sending her WELL up into the sky! Flipping end-over-end, the Majin clutched at her face, cradling her aching face as if that would lessen the pain!
"You see...? THAT'S more like it!" Liari grinned, glancing over her shoulder as she righted herself! Callion had been shadowing her since his initial attack hovering just behind the Majin! This was great... She couldn't have planned it any better! "HA!" She cried, throwing a punch in front of her... and AWAY from Callion! Her fist, if Callion looked over her shoulder, would appear to vanish at the elbow, rippling the air where it disappeared! Suddenly, a HAND WOULD SHOOT OUT BEHIND the monk, GRABBING him by his long, spiky hair and DRAGGING HIM BACK, pulling him through a portal until he was face-to...forehead with the majin as she aimed to YANK him into a headbutt! If she succeeded, Liari's forehead would CRASH into the bridge of Callion's nose before Liari brought her fist up to SMASH into his stomach! If she succeeded, she would raise her fists over her head and SLAM them down across the back of Callion's neck in a sledgehammer strike, aiming to send the golden warrior HURTLING towards the planet itself!

As Callion reeled from the unexpected strike to his jaw, Liari's triumphant laughter echoed through the stormy sky. He swiftly regained his composure, eyes narrowing in determination as he faced the relentless Majin. Her boastful declaration only fuelled his resolve. Callion observed Liari's volatile emotions with a stoic demeanour, his expression unwavering even as her screams echoed across the planet. As she revealed the root of her actions, a deep sigh escaped him, and his eyes flickered with a sense of understanding."You should've just told me in the first place, long before any of this even happened, especially back then with those two Changelings… You know who I’m talking about…" Callion remarked calmly. He understood the yearning for attention, the longing for a connection that drove her to such extremes. As the realization settled, Callion prepared himself for what was to come. The battle commenced with a sudden burst of speed from Callion, his fist connecting with precision beneath Liari's jaw. The Majin soared into the sky, her laughter blending with the energy that crackled around her. In the midst of her jubilation, Callion had strategically positioned himself, shadowing her every move. Liari's punch, seemingly aimed away from Callion, revealed her mastery of spatial manipulation. With a deft portal, she yanked Callion by his hair, bringing him face-to-face with her in a headbutt. The impact resonated, but Callion's response was immediate. As her fist aimed for his stomach, Callion focused his energy, creating a brief barrier that absorbed some of the force. The Majin's follow-up strike, a sledgehammer blow to the back of Callion's neck, sent him hurtling towards the planet's surface. The force of the blows was staggering, and Callion felt himself hurtling toward the planet below. Time seemed to stretch as he plummeted, the golden aura surrounding him flickering with the impact. In the descent, Callion's body spun gracefully, and he stabilized his position, halting the trajectory. Hovering above the ground, he regarded Liari with a newfound resolve. The storm raged on, rain pelting down as Callion faced the grinning Majin once more. Despite the pain and disorientation, his eyes burned with determination. Liari's laughter echoed around him, but Callion, now fully focused, assumed a defensive stance. "You want my attention? You've got it," the Saiyan declared, the golden aura of Super Saiyan surrounding him. "But once our fight is over, we’re going to be setting some ground rules from now on, and I don’t want to hear any complaints from you, understand?" Callion warned, while he wanted to try and tame Liari’s lust for battle, he at least wanted to instigate baby steps, slowly reeling her in in order to lay down the law for Liari to engage in fighting, but such discussions can be easily talked about once the battle was over. For now, he had to slap her around and, honestly, enjoy the fight with glee. With that, Callion lunged forward, fists clenched, ready to engage in a battle that, perhaps, could steer Liari away from her chaotic path – if only the initial start of beginner’s steps. The clash of energies and ideologies echoed across Yardrat as two powerful beings collided, their destinies intertwining in a dance of combat and understanding. With a burst of speed, Callion shot forward, closing the distance between them in an instant. His fist, wreathed in energy, shot toward Liari with incredible speed, aiming for her midsection. As the battle raged on, Callion took a different approach, drawing upon his mastery of martial combat techniques. The Saiyans movements became a blur of calculated strikes, each one aimed with precision. He utilized martial combat techniques, weaving between punches and kicks, aiming not just for brute force but for strategic strikes. His strikes aimed not to overpower but to disrupt, to create openings. He focused on precision and strategy, aiming to disrupt Liari's control over her ki. If there is one thing that was currently evident, is the fact that Liari’s state was chaotic, that ideally matched her energy, that matched her unorthodox attacks which left only one clue… If she had died in South City, then she must’ve learnt moves in the afterlife, just as much as he died when he past away by her hands so long ago. “Ah, so I see you’ve gotten stronger, and got yourself some new moves Liari. Impressive. Most impressive. Dare I say, I am rather proud of you.”Callion smiled genuinely, getting more into the battle at hand as he kept the battle mainly in the air, away from the Yardrats and the Yardratian Temple, daring not to get those innocent souls involved in their fight. He recognized that brute force alone might not be enough against the Majin's raw power. With a focused determination, he shifted tactics. As he engaged in hand-to-hand combat, he started to target specific pressure points on Liari's body, aiming to disrupt her flow of ki.He weaved subtle nerve strikes into his movements, precise strikes aiming for the vital points that regulated the flow of energy within the Majin's body. His attacks aimed to disrupt her ability to channel ki, to momentarily block or hinder her usage of energy. With each precise strike, he aimed to disrupt her concentration, to throw off her energy control. There was no doubt that Liari was just as fast as she is strong, and there was no denying her incredible durability due to her majin genetics, but Callion retained his battle strategic mindset whilst currently engaging. The battle became a dance of speed and precision, the Saiyan's calculated strikes versus the Majin's chaotic power. Callion persisted, focusing on disrupting her ki flow, aiming for openings to limit her ability to unleash devastating attacks. The clash continued unabated, a testament to their skill and determination. The storm raged on, lightning illuminating their intense combat, each strike carrying the weight of their conflicting motives and past encounters. As they fought, the fate of their world hung precariously in the balance, the Saiyan went with a frightening speed and moved several pace back to regain some ground whilst the two were in the air, a slither of sweat trinkled down his cheek, Liari was certainly an incredible opponent, he hasn’t worked such a sweat since his fight with Athren and Quash, but if he continues to have Liari’s attention and keep her sole focused on him whenever she wanted to fight, then at least he has bought the people on Earth time to train and get stronger, should the worst case scenario come and he isn’t able to keep Liari entertained. For now, he has her undivided attention, and that was all that matters. The sheer intensity of the battle…. Training… spar… thing raged on, amidst the tumultuous clash between Callion and Liari, a momentary lull in their combat presented itself. Callion, despite the chaos around them, took a deliberate step back, his golden aura pulsating with restrained power."It's impressive, Liari, to witness your version of the Kamehameha, how you learnt such a skill from not having been a student to Master Roshi, I’ll never know," Callion remarked, acknowledging her display of power amidst their fierce confrontation. "But allow me to show you what a real Kamehameha looks like."With a focus that seemed to harness the very essence of his Saiyan heritage, Callion planted his feet firmly, energy gathering around him as he initiated the iconic technique. His voice rang out amidst the storm, clear and determined."Kaaaaa.... Meeeee.... Haaaa... Meeeee.... HAAAAAAAA!!" With each syllable, the energy intensified, spiraling around him in a vortex of golden light. His arms extended forward, palms positioned as if to channel the raw power of the cosmos itself.
The energy surged from within him, a concentrated beam of pure force manifesting between his palms. The air crackled with power as the Kamehameha took form, a shimmering blue and gold radiance coalescing into a spiraling, charged wave of energy. The atmosphere quivered with the sheer magnitude of the technique. The raw power hummed in the air, and as Callion unleashed the Kamehameha, it tore through the storm, hurtling toward Liari with an unstoppable force, a testament to his mastery and strength.
The brilliance of the technique illuminated the battlefield, the energy beam tearing through the tempestuous skies. Callion's expression remained focused and resolute as the beam surged forward, aimed directly at the Majin, a display of the true might of a Saiyan warrior's Kamehameha.

"WHAT PART OF 'YOU NEVER PAY ATTENTION TO ME' DO YOU NOT GET!?" LIari chastised Callion! Look at him, trying to throw all of this back on her... It's as if he didn't want to take ANY responsibility for her feelings! "WHO ELSE WAS I GOING TO GO TO!? YOU ALL ABANDONED ME!" ...And the fight began. While Callion took first-blood, he certainly didn't take the second... or third... or FOURTH, for that matter! Majin trickery outplayed Saiyan conventionalism, as a hand SHOT through a portal and brought him into a BRUTAL headbutt! The uppercut to his stomach, though, met with some resistance, Callion finally getting his game on and summoning up a ki-shield that coated his whole body! Liari's fist SMASHED into the dense energy-wall so hard that it sent CRACKS arching up the surface, threatening to smash through! Ah, but brute-forcing through his shield, while satisfying, might've given Callion enough time to take control back and so, acting quickly, the Majin RAISED her hands over her head and SMASHED down on the back of his neck, sending the Saiyan ROCKETING down to the ground! Liari grinned widely as Callion caught himself mere moments before the ground caught him, the deep-blue Majin lowering herself to the planet to meet him! The storm raged around both fighters, rain and wind lashing at their auras fruitlessly as they stared one another down!
"Good, GOOD! Your reflexes are still sharp!" Liari snickered, clapping her hands together in mock-applause! "This'll take a bit, I think!" Callion responded with assurances that the Majin DEFINITELY had his attention now, but he... seemed to want to BARGAIN! HE WANTED TO SET RULES AGAIN, AS IF SHE WERE STILL SMALL AND WEAK! ...As if she were still HIS little student. Liari stared at him, wide eyed and confused as if she couldn't believe what he'd just said. She blinked, smirked... then let out a MASSIVE BELLY LAUGH, one that seemed to carry ON... AND ON... AND ON! Liari laughed so loud, her voice overcame the thunder of the storm hanging just over them! She laughed so hard, she clutched at her belly with one of her hands as she doubled over! She laughed so... sharply, it was as if it were almost PAINFUL to keep it up! After taking a BIG break, one that swelled her stomach up like a balloon, she heaved out a few more laughs, wiping away a few freshly formed tears!
"OH, oh, that's FUNNY!" Liari giggled, drawing back to her full height! "YOU still think I'm still your little student, don't you? You think I'll listen to you NOW!? GET REAL!" Callion then DEMANDED that she make no bones about his conditions, that it WAS an inevitability... and suddenly, Liari stopped smiling. Her grin flipped in an instant to a face of snarling anger, her eyes flashing from joyous silver to ENRAGED red!
"You misunderstand." Liari said, her voice a flat, harsh rumble. "I'm my OWN master now. You're just my entertainment. No more, no less. Now stop pretending like you still CARE about me and THROW A BLOODY PUNCH!"
In the instant Callion made his move, Liari made hers! The two met each other half way in a FLASH of golden-pink light, Liari throwing a ki-charged KNEE up at Callion as he threw his fist forward, the two clashing together in a BRILLIANT explosion of light that VAPORIZED the storm for miles around them! In a flash, the two warriors were at each other's throats, trading blows, slipping and dodging, throwing punches and kicks that would SLICE APART THE WORLD they fought upon! Each blow blocked was like a bomb detonating across the battlefield, each punch dodged, a strike that could knock the other through a loop! While Callion fought tactically, attempting to take precise stabs at presumed weak points, Liari was far more tricky! She struck at Callion like a wild animal, lunging around him in an effort to flank, slipping in an out of portals to attack from unexpected angles, elongating her limbs to strike from a distance, and entangle him in surging whips of tentacles! Between their clashes, Callion took a moment to praise the Majin a way a father might, stating how PROUD he was of her! Unusually, Liari... was bothered by his praise... disquieted.
"Stop that!" Liari demanded, striking HARDER, FASTER, her rage fueling her strength! "You don't get to be 'proud' anymore, you deadbeat!"
In time with one another, Liari and Callion shifted their tactics! The Saiyan, seemingly having honed in on the weak-points of Liari, lashed out with his knuckles! As precise as rapier stabs, Callion took quick, sharp jabs at the Majin, each one she quickly batted away! Liari, on the other end... flipped the script... LITERALLY! Turning 180-degrees so that she was now upside-down, Liari LASHED out at Callion from a completely different angle, punches going strictly for his body, his thighs, his knee-caps, while kicks lashed out at his legs shot out for his chest, his jaw, his neck in fearsome arcs! Lightning flashed, thunder CLAPPED, the world trembled under their battle. The sky seemed like it would CRACK open any time either opponent landed a blow, allowing cataclysmic lightning bolts to split the planet asunder. After a BRUTAL trade of punches, the two fighters JERKED away from one another, each one taking a sizable step back. Liari huffed and puffed lightly, taking this moment to wipe the rain out of her eyes. ...Despite her frustration with Callion, she WAS having fun! THIS, THIS FIGHT was all she wanted! None of the talking, NONE of the weakness! ALL SHE WANTED... Was this! Why was it so hard for everyone to understand? WHY was it so hard for them to INDULGE HER! Well, it didn't matter, did it...? She had it all to herself now!
Callion took a moment to compliment the Majin on her earlier Kamehameha, even if he didn't understand how she could learn it! Liari grinned and wagged her finger mockingly at the Saiyan.
"I know lots of things you don't, Callion." The Majin proclaimed, tapping her head with the same finger. "...I've trained under gods AND demons. I am beyond stupid humans!" ...Well, Callion was determined to prove that HIS Kamehameha was better, planting his feet and gathering his power! ...This was when something occurred to her. She remembered that old crane-man, Shen, ranting about some guy named Roshi, how he had some kind of old rivalry with him... Oh, the ideas she had...
"Okay... What about this..." Liari asked, pointing a finger at the Saiyan. Golden Energy condensed at the very tip of her finger, rings of power twisting and writhing around the ever-brightening energy-sphere! "So, you like that turtle-man, huh? Well, I trained under the crane-man! SO WHY DON'T YOU TRY THIS ON FOR SIZE!? DODONPA!"
A golden energy wave EXPLODED from Liari's finger, SMASHING into Callion's bright blue energy wave in a VIOLENT clash of power! Liari grinned as her beam DRILLED against the much larger blast of the Saiyan's, her condensed energy wave threatening to pierce through should the monk show any kind of weakness!
"I wonder if he gets it..." Liari giggled, raising her other hand in the opposite direction! "...His attack takes TWO hands... Mine, though..." Liari shot ANOTHER, weaker Dodonpa in the opposite direction, the beam disappearing suddenly into the atmosphere ...before REMANIFESTING behind Callion, shooting RIGHT at the back of his shoulder blade!

The Saiyan continued engaging in the storm of battle raging around him, mirroring the tempest within the Majin. As their clash continued, he found himself caught in the crossfire of emotions that fueled Liari's every strike. The battlefield echoed with their raw power, a symphony of destruction and defiance. Callion felt the impact of their clash reverberate through every fiber of his being. Liari's rage and anguish collided with his attempts at understanding, creating a tempestuous battleground fueled by raw emotion. Amidst the storm of their conflict, Callion remained focused, seeking a connection beyond the chaos she embraced.
Liari's scornful rejection of his attempt at understanding, her demand for a brutal fight, only deepened the sense of conflict within him. He sought to guide her, to reach a semblance of understanding, yet she seemed determined to rebuff any sentiment of camaraderie or concern. Her frustration rang in his ears, a torrent of accusations and grievances that threatened to drown out reason. As the battle raged on, Callion maintained a calm demeanor, a beacon of stability amidst the chaos. The exchange of blows, the dance of combat—they were all steps in a larger dance, a dance of understanding and control.
When Liari mocked his attempt to set rules, Callion sighed. Her laughter, resonating with a blend of amusement and defiance, swept through the stormy air. The tension between them heightened, each clash of energy a testament to the unresolved conflict that bound them. "You're not a child anymore, Liari," Callion asserted, his voice cutting through the maelstrom. "But you're not beyond guidance either."
Their battle intensified, the ferocity of their attacks matching the raging storm around them. Liari's strategy became more erratic, a mix of instinctive fury and calculated trickery that pushed Callion to adjust his tactics on the fly. He maintained a defensive stance, deflecting her strikes with precision while attempting to keep the confrontation contained within a controlled rhythm. Indeed, a symphony of punches and kicks that reverberated through the planet itself. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, and their auras clashed in a brilliant display of power. Callion acknowledged her strength, praised her in a way a mentor might, but it only seemed to agitate her further.
With the battle raging on, a momentary pause allowed Callion to offer a compliment, attempting to appreciate her skills amidst the chaos. Liari's response, a mocking declaration of superiority, only fueled the discord between them. Callion observed her tactics. Liari's unpredictability and agility tested his adaptability. She sought to dominate the fight, to prove her independence, but Callion saw through the facade. Amidst the chaos, he saw a spark of the spirited student he had once known. "You're still seeking attention, just in a different way," Callion remarked, dodging a series of rapid strikes. "But you've got my attention now."
Their clash reached a crescendo as both warriors gathered their energy, unleashing powerful waves that clashed in a brilliant display of opposing forces. The collision of Dodonpa and Kamehameha echoed across the battlefield, each beam vying for dominance in a tumultuous struggle for supremacy.
As Liari redirected her attack, aiming for his back, Callion's instincts kicked in. With a swift pivot and a surge of energy from his tail that he used as a third arm, he shifted to intercept the redirected beam, deflecting it with a focused burst of ki, dissipating its force before it could strike him.
"I see what you're trying to do," Callion said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "But you're not the only one who can adapt." With a calm resolve, Callion prepared for the next exchange, his eyes focused on Liari. The stormy battleground became a canvas for their clash of wills, a dance of power and purpose that transcended the physical realm.
Amidst the chaos and conflict, a singular thought lingered within Callion's mind—a desire to bridge the chasm that separated them, to find a connection that transcended their current predicament. But in the midst of their battle, the storm of emotions and Liari's relentless aggression made it seem an unattainable goal. Yet, within his determined resolve, a glimmer of hope persisted—a hope that amidst their clash, amidst the thunderous tumult, there might be a chance to reach her, to guide her beyond the turmoil that consumed her soul.
In the midst of their fierce exchange, as they danced in a tempest of lightning and thunder, Callion's focus remained unbroken. He observed, analysed, and engaged, every move a calculated attempt to redirect her frenzied onslaught into a controlled engagement. "You're not just entertainment," Callion retorted, his voice unwavering despite the raging storm around them. "You're more than that, Liari."
Their relentless battle continued, each manoeuvre, each strike, resonating with the weight of their conflicting emotions and intentions. Callion shifted his strategy, opting for a more strategic approach in this intense fight.
As Liari continued to attack fiercely, Callion studied her movements, searching for patterns and openings. Despite her erratic style, he sought to find a rhythm within the chaos, aiming for precision rather than brute force. The Saiyan's movements became more calculated, dodging and weaving through Liari's onslaught, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. He aimed to disrupt her tempo, to find a vulnerability amidst her unpredictable assault.
With swift precision, Callion moved, targeting moments when Liari's guard seemed slightly less impenetrable. He launched quick strikes, aiming for strategic pressure points, seeking to momentarily disrupt her flow of energy. Their battle danced on the edge of cataclysm, their energy clashes echoing through the stormy skies. Despite Liari's unpredictability, Callion's focus remained unyielding, his resolve unwavering in the face of her relentless attacks.
With the storm raged around them, the clash between Saiyan and Majin intensified, each fighter pushing themselves to the limits in a struggle that seemed destined to shape the fate of their world.
Callion's movements became a fluid blend of physical and ki-based attacks, a dance of combat aimed at both countering Liari's onslaught and understanding the storm that fueled her. His strikes were precise, seeking weak points, probing for a way to guide her chaotic energy into a more controlled form.
Liari's unconventional style challenged him, but Callion adapted, using his agility and combat expertise to weave through her onslaught. As he countered each of her attacks, he sought not only to defend but to understand the underlying currents of her rage.
Their battle continued, a symphony of clashes that echoed through the storm-laden atmosphere. Callion's eyes never wavered from Liari, his focus unwavering. Amidst the chaos, he sought a way to reach her, to resonate with the desire for battle that burned within her. In one particularly intense moment, as they clashed in a flurry of blows, Callion saw an opportunity. Drawing upon his Saiyan heritage, he unleashed a technique—a manifestation of the primal power that lurked within him. With a shout that cut through the thunder, he unleashed the Oozaru Fist.
"Oozaru... FIIIST!"
His fist surged with the raw, untamed power reminiscent of the mighty Oozaru form. The energy radiated in a concentrated burst as he aimed to send Liari reeling, not to overpower her, but to make her feel the force behind the attack. In the aftermath of the Oozaru Fist, Callion continued to engage, a relentless force with a purpose beyond mere combat. As he dodged, blocked, and countered, he spoke between breaths, his voice carrying a calm but firm tone.
Even as he fought, Callion's mind worked tirelessly, seeking a way to bridge the gap between their conflicting desires. He didn't want to subdue her spirit, merely guide it towards a more balanced path. Amidst the tempestuous clash, he searched for openings, for moments of clarity that might lead to understanding.
Their battle continued, the storm around them echoing the intensity of their conflict. Lightning streaked across the sky, thunder rolled, and the ground trembled beneath their feet. Yet amidst the chaos, Callion remained a beacon of calm, his determination unwavering as he sought to carve a path towards resolution. With each strike and evasion, he aimed to find a way to resonate with Liari, to communicate without words the possibility of control within chaos, the balance between the thrill of battle and the discipline of strength. His attacks weren't meant to overpower her but to create a dialogue through action, a silent plea for understanding amidst the tumultuous clash.
“You know, this reminds me of my training session with little Terra… Though obviously not this intense.” Callion spoke to Liari as he held Liari, managing to get a grapple lock on her legs and spin her around and throwing her away, taking a moment of respite. “You should be proud of her. She’s grown so strong. I’d at least want you to know that Ayu and I are taking good care of her… You know, maybe you should join us, I think she’d love to see you.”

"'You're still seeking attention, just in a different way.'" Liari mocked, slurring the words in a twisted imitation of Callion's voice. "'But you're not beyond guidance either.' You haven't been listening to ANYTHING I've said, have you? You just tuned in right now?" Even among the energy struggle, Liari had more than enough power to spare a conversation, especially one that was in mockery of her former master! "WHAT WOULD YOU EVEN KNOW!? YOU HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND! YOU HAVEN'T SPENT ANY TIME WITH ME! YOU JUST SAT THERE... AND BEAT ME UP ONCE. YOU SHUT UP! STOP TRYING TO PRETEND YOU'RE SOME WISE MASTER!"
...And then she shot her sneak-attack. In the instant her second Dodonpa was fired, time and space flipped and twisted into a tunnel that transported from one point in space-time, the tip of Liari's free finger, to the back of the Saiyan, the blast going from not hitting the broad-side of a space-barn, to a point-blank shot THROUGH the man's shoulder and chest... Or it WOULD HAVE BEEN... if Callion's instincts weren't as sharp as shattered reality-shards! Liari looked on in somewhat disbelief as Callion's tail lashed out like a whip, batting aside the Dodonpa as if it were a fly! The redirected shot ZIPPED down into the ground instead where it pierced RIGHT through the earth, leaving a small, but endlessly deep hole next to his foot!
...Damn. He was adapting. ...And a second later, Callion would confirm this fact. ALREADY, he had gotten used to her portals? DAMN IT! She would give this for Callion... While he wasn't smart intellectually, the man's instincts were TOO damn good! Perhaps there was something to the theory that Saiyans were the greatest warriors in the galaxy if they could adapt to radically different techniques like this!
The two techniques would EXPLODE and, in the light of their explosion, the two warriors SHOT into one another, clashing again! Punches and kicks slipped in and around each other faster than light-waves, crashing and exploding as their bodies pushed themselves to their limits and beyond! Liari... wasn't having fun... Not so much anymore. Callion refused to understand her even now. WORSE, he was gaslighting her in an attempt to make her believe that what she ACTUALLY believed was sourced elsewhere! Oh, she didn't like him? It had to be that she still craved his attention! Oh, she wanted to fight him? It couldn't have possibly been because he was STRONG! No, it had to be because she still wanted him as a master! Speaking to this Monk was like their fight: Difficult, aggravating, and was serving little purpose. Before, the Majin fought Callion to sate her lust for battle. Now she was doing it to satisfy her anger. Crushing Callion... or this man pretending to be Callion, was now personal for her. He wouldn't shut up... he WOULDN'T acknowledge what she was TRYING to say something, he was so ANNOYING to try and out-maneuver... Curse him... CURSE HIM!
Liari and Callion SHOT BACK from one another for a split moment, creating another break in the action. Liari raised her hands, ready to PELT the Saiyan from a distance but Callion had other plans! He commented, strangely, that Liari herself wasn't just entertainment to him, that she was simply something more!
"You're disgusting." Liari growled back. ...Then she had a thought. An evil grin arched across her face. "...Ayu hates you, you know. When you left, she was heart-broken. She couldn't believe that you would just abandon her there on the Lookout, all alone. ...And after how much you came to mean to her too... Oh, how betrayed she felt..." The Majin pressed the back of her hand to her forehead and leaned back dramatically. "Oh, Callion... You should see her... I've never seen Ayu so MAD! I think... she doesn't love you anymore!"
...She hope that stung. She hope every single word flayed Callion's heart like a knife. It served him right, trying to only JUST NOW take his little teacher-role up again. How dare he behave this way, saunter back into the teaching-role like he didn't just DIP out of it... Who did he think he was... besides the man she ATE all that time ago?
Their battle would continue and only grew fiercer by the second. Each blow was just a step towards the escalation of stakes and conflict, each side falling more heavily into whatever side they supposedly aligned with! Callion attempted a more fluid approach, mirroring Liari's unpredictability... or attempting to, aiming to slip around her attacks and guard with his remarkable skill in an effort to land more attacks! ...But Liari was a Majin. Attempting to outdo her natural specialty was a fool's errand. As Callion would discover, although his skill in fighting was greater than Liari's, her ability to alter her body made up for any gap in fighting talent! Blades, spikes, whips, all of them fell upon Callion like a pile of dimensional jellybeans, threatening to CRUSH Callion under unquantifiable versatility! Although he kept up gracefully, weaving around them in a way that could only be described as "beautiful," Liari's persistence and stubborn stamina was SURE to wear him down if this kept up!
Liari threw her fist at Callion's face, the Monk stepping back just in time as her knuckles grazed the tip of his chin! He turned that backstep into a flip whose momentum he used to SPRING at her! SCREAMING his attack, a lighting flash revealed the visage of a GREAT APE behind the Monk, his hand containing all the power of an OOZARU packed into such a small space! His knuckles SHOT towards Liari's face, CRACKING HER across her cheek so hard, her body was sent SPIRALLING BACK... Or her upper-half... that was. Stretching and twisting like corkscrewing flubber, the Majin SHOT BACK, her fist... ON FIRE!? Her ki had been channeled into a BLAZING AURA round her knuckles all the way up past her bracer, Liari's legs SHOOTING OUT to lock around Callion's waist like a rubbery belt before her upper-body CORKSCREWED back into place, her fist SMASHING into the man's forehead!
"INFERNAL-FIST!" Liari ROARED as a DOME of flame ERUPTED around them!
This exchange was but a snapshot into the brutality that now spread out across a great deal of this corner of the planet, the two warriors hopping from spot to spot, landing blows before blinking to a location miles away and attacking again. The two were a forces of nature colliding in a ruthless, primal dance for superiority, collateral being the word ingrained in Yardratian history as they recounted this wild and sudden brawl. The environment was no longer recognizable for the place it once was, only as a place resembling the aftermath of a meteor-shower with craters upon craters, sear-marks and blackened soil being left behind. Ki flashed as frequently as lightning, fists exploding against bodies like thunder-crashes, the stars pierced through the clouds to watch them from afar as if the very heavens were interested in their battle...
...and even NOW Callion had time to speak!
"You're an idiot." Liari stated flatly, her leg SWEEPING at Callion's aiming to take him off his feet! "You don't care about her either. She'll figure that out soon enough. You'll leave her like you left me, Ayu, and everyone else. ...And when they come for you, I'll LAUGH." If Liari managed to trip Callion, her hand would SHOOT out to grab the man's tail and SWING HIM DOWN to the ground like a MALLET before KICKING his head like a soccer-ball and sending him spinning away!
"...Does it hurt yet, Callion...? You being such a failure?"

Callion, despite the relentless onslaught from Liari, retained a sense of composure. Her words, laced with venom and mockery, slid off him like water on a smooth surface. Each strike, each taunt, was absorbed into his stoic demeanor as he sought a way to navigate through the chaos. As the fierce battle unfolded, Callion listened to Liari's distorted imitation of his voice, her accusations tearing through the stormy air. Her anger, palpable and intense, fueled the tempest around them. Amidst the chaos, Callion's focus remained on the task at hand—finding a way to reach Liari beyond the walls of her fury.
The sudden shift in their confrontation caught him off guard. Liari's sneak attack, the Dodonpa, aimed to exploit his momentary vulnerability. Yet, Callion's instincts, honed through years of battle, kicked in. His tail, an extension of his Saiyan prowess, lashed out with swift precision, deflecting the energy blast away. A smirk crept across his face as he maintained his defensive stance. Their exchange intensified, the clash of their energies and physical blows echoing through the battered landscape. Liari's words, meant to wound, were met with a calm resolve. Callion understood the game she was playing, attempting to provoke a reaction. Instead, he chose not to be swayed by her attempts at emotional manipulation.
As the battle continued, each move choreographed in a deadly dance, Callion's mind raced. He sensed an opportunity to make a connection, to break through Liari's hardened exterior. However, her resistance remained steadfast, and their clash intensified.
Liari's revelation about Ayu sparked a momentary flicker of emotion in Callion's eyes…
Ayu… Consider that threshold met.
Callion took a brief pause amidst the relentless onslaught, feeling the echoes of Liari's words resound through my thoughts. As she lashed out, mocking and belittling the Saiyan, her words pierced through the cacophony of battle, stinging like barbed arrows.
"You're an idiot." Her blunt statement cut through the air. "You don't care about her either."
Her words reverberated in his mind, causing a brief, painful pause in the chaotic duel. Callion actually couldn't deny the weight they carried. "You'll leave her like you left me, Ayu, and everyone else."
The truth in her accusations sank deep. He indeed had failed. Failed Liari, failed Ayu, failed everyone who trusted and looked up to him. The pain of those failures welled up within the Saiyan, a heaviness he can’t help but shake off. If anything, he could not help but smile as he lowered his fighting stance whilst they were in mid-air, and even a chuckle escaped his lips.
"You know something… You are right. I have failed you," He replied, his voice clear and loud over the sounds of their cosmic battle. "I failed you. I failed Ayu. I failed Terra. Quash. Everyone."
The truth in Liari's words hit home. The agony of abandoning those who needed him, the regret of failing to protect those Callion cared for, it all rushed back in an overwhelming tide.
"But I won't stop," he said, the Saiyans voice firming. "Even if they hate me, even if I'm a failure in their eyes, I'll continue to protect them as long as I can draw breath. I know I can never undo the mistakes that I have made to you, the only thing I can do is to strive better."
The Saiyan spoke with resolve and fortitude. Indeed, he could not undo the past, nor even erase his mistakes, but Callion could fight for what mattered. Despite the pain, despite the accusations, he’d stand firm in protecting those he loved, even if they despised him for his failures. As the battle raged on, Callion continued to fight with all the strength he had left, every strike laced with determination and the resolve to shield those who needed him, even if they hated him for his shortcomings, and especially if he could never mend the rift between Liari and himself.
With a heavy heart and the weight of his failures lingering in Callion thoughts, the Saiyan pushed forward in the battle against Liari. His burning ki echoed his resolve, determined to put an end to this chaotic clash that seemed to have no foreseeable conclusion.
"COME FOR ME LIARI!"
"LET US PUT AN END TO THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!"
Callion exclaimed, the words resonating through the storm and clash of energy.
Charging toward Liari, Callion drew from the depths of his ki, gathering every ounce of strength and determination the Saiyan possessed. As he closed in on her, Callion’s intention to bring an end to this tumultuous fight was palpable in the air, it was rare for the Saiyan’s ki to even spike this high before in the midst of battle.
Mainly because, even know he was still holding back.
But at the pivotal moment, something shifted within me. A sudden realization surged through his being, making the Saiyan’s eyes widen in both shock and realization. Instead of moving forward with the attack, he halted abruptly, his hold body sensing and feeling a massive surge of ki but not from himself, the Yardratians, or even Liari herself.
No… This was something so far away, but the Ki energy reading The Saiyan felt… It was MASSIVE.
Within that moment of charged energy, something grander unfolded. It wasn't an attack aimed at Liari; it was something else, something massive and unforeseen. The surge of energy took on a life of its own, coalescing into a colossal projection, one that extended far beyond the bounds of our battle. Just what kind of power was this for Callion to be able to send this level of energy reading from so far away.
As the energy formed, Callion’s mind raced, trying to comprehend what was happening. What had begun as an attempt to bring an end to our battle had transformed into an unforeseen phenomenon, a manifestation far beyond his intention. If Liari was going to attack, or was already proceeding to charge, the Saiyan lifted his left hand up, speaking in a strong, commanding voice:
“TIME OUT!”
Callion shouted, with a voice that had rarely been heard to make even most people jump from the shock of hearing such a voice. The Saiyan continued to look with genuine shock, horror and perhaps even fear, sensing that massive power level, looking up and round, then directly to the right, where the stars were shining… This power reading was coming from another planet.
"What in Kami’s name… Liari… Do you feel that?" Callion muttered in disbelief, his voice barely audible amid the crackling energy around them, as the fighting storm and energy was slowly dying down when their battle came to a complete and abrupt halt. The projection of the Ki reading stood as a colossal monument, a testament to someone’s massive outpouring of ki, reaching out toward the sky and beyond, a monumental construct that seemed to transcend the very limits of this world and beyond.
Caught in a moment of uncertainty and shock, Callion stared at the massive energy formation that was coming from the stars, unsure of its purpose, origin, or what consequences it might bring.
The air crackled with anticipation, the ground beneath us quivered in response, and the sky seemed to darken as the colossal manifestation loomed over us, dominating the landscape with its sheer presence. "Where is that energy reading coming from…?" The words escaped his lips, laden with a mix of fear, confusion, and a deep sense of curiosity for whatever this unforeseen event might entail.

What was this? Acknowledgement at LAST? Was the truth too heavy for even a SUPER SAIYAN to bear? For the first time since Liari had known him (and probably since HE could remember since she had a good portion of his memory floating about her noodle), Callion... admitted he was wrong. He HAD failed... But there was only HALF of the satisfaction she expected from that. He didn't explain HOW he had failed, taken FULL ACCOUNT for his mistakes. It was easy enough for the guilty to admit they're wrong. It's EASY to overlook the details of what you've done when you're so busy making yourself a martyr. Liari narrowed her eyes at Callion's declaration, feeling that little bit of HOPE that had been brewing in her chest melt away as he proclaimed his intention.
AH, here we go again.
"Oh, is that right? So the past should just stay there, huh? Behind a little door where you don't gotta look at it? That's not how this WORKS!" Liari STAMPED her foot so hard, the planet underneath then CRACKED, or so it seemed, their piece of continent SHOOTING DOWN, then UP like a tsunami-wave, cracks the size of canyons SPLITTING OPEN across the face of Yardrat, marring its face forever! "Even if you're a saint from now until you die for GOOD, you will never balance out what you did. A house built on sand, no matter how pretty, is still built on SAND. One way or another, you're going to fail again, Callion... Then you'll make another promise and break that TOO. ...And this is how it's gonna keep going and going..." She rotated her pointer-finger around like a fly caught in water, circling the drain. She then pointed right at the Monk. "...Until you finally get it: You will never outrun your mistakes. You will NEVER outrun ME. You will continue to FAIL every single one of them until you PAY for your it all in FULL!" Liari's power EXPLODED all around her, the sky tinting PINK... then slowly growing darker, fading into a color somewhat resembling purple. Black electricity arched across the Majin's energy, her signature rising... and rising... and RISING still, threatening to double in this moment!
"There will BE no saving!" Liari swung an arm sharply to the side, sending forth an invisible wave of ki that SHREDDED the surface of the planet! "There will BE no 'protection!'" Liari swung her other arm, another invisible wave SCALPLED the planet flat! "You will achieve NOTHING! Your strength is fit ONLY for my entertainment because you aren't capable of BEING anything else!" Liari threw her hands forward... then cupped them behind, a deep blue sphere gathering between her palms!
"The only thing you strive to be is to be 'strong' and your strength came at the cost of EVERYTHING. You're not even a MAN anymore. LOOK AT YOU." She looked him over with loathing, the orb she cradled swelling larger. "What do you even HAVE now? Nothing. You don't have Ayu... You WON'T have my daughter. Earth is NOTHING but weaklings and saps! All you'll have is ME... because I will it! The only thing you'll have left to 'protect' is your own sorry hide! ...Now stand still for me. I want to give you a taste of what you deserve." Callion proclaimed his challenge, practically BEGGING her to end this! The Majin smirked cruelly. "Oh, this will never end... Not until you change. ...But I don't think that'll happen. What do you think!?" Callion RUSHED at her and Liari THREW her hands forward, ready to fire her blast a-
"TIME OUT!"
Liari Froze, COMPLETELY thrown off! Her blast fizzled out in her hands as she lost focus, her ki flowing back into her body as she stared at the Saiyan. At first, she thought this was a trick of some kind, Liari's mind immediately turning towards vindictiveness. Why WOULDN'T she? Callion was who he was and she was who she was! ...But then she saw his face... It was serious. He wasn't playing. Liari froze and stepped back, allowing her hands to fall to her side.
"What?" She huffed, clearly irritated. Callion said nothing for a moment, staring off over Liari's shoulder as if something eldritch was hovering behind her! Liari resisted the temptation to turn and look and merely crossed her arms, staring at the monk in expectation. Another second passed. Two... then he asked if she felt something.
"What are you blathering about? What could be so impor-" ...All she need do is reach out for a fraction of a second... and she felt it. Instantly Liari broke out in a sweat, her eyes snapping WIDE as she felt the power WASH OVER HER. So much of it.... So much and... It was coming from...
"...Its on the other side of the universe..." Liari whispered, running a hand along the back of her neck. "...How the hell... It's... but... That's not possible... It can't be..."

Callion scanned the far reaches of the universe with his ki, stretching it outwards, probing, seeking the source of the immense power that seemed to reverberate from the depths of space. The Saiyans senses extended beyond the realms he'd traversed before, pushing the limits of his ability to perceive and discern distant energies.
As he delved deeper into the vast expanse, Callion’s focus honed in on a specific location, a planet—Namek. It emanated an incredible power signature that eclipsed any he'd encountered before. The strength of this energy felt daunting, unfamiliar, yet unmistakably potent.
"Namek...?" He murmured to both himself and Liari, the realization striking him with a mix of surprise and intrigue. What or who on Namek could possess such an extraordinary level of power?
His mind raced with possibilities, recalling the tales of this distant world, known for its Dragon Balls and a history steeped in resilience and tragedy. The revelation brought forth a whirlwind of questions, stirring a sense of urgency within him. Callion's brow furrowed as the sensation of an immense power surged through him, seemingly emanating from the distant Planet Namek. The surge of ki pulsating from that direction was so potent, it resonated across the vast expanse of space, reaching Callion's senses despite the cosmic distance that separated them.
He shifted his focus back to the present, the Saiyans eyes still fixed on Liari, who appeared just as shocked by this unexpected discovery. Namek, a place entrenched in legend and lore, now pulsated with an unfathomable strength that rippled across the cosmos.
"Namek... There's an incredible and terrible power emanating from there of all places," Callion spoke aloud, his voice tinged with a mix of amazement and concern. "Something or someone on Namek is emitting that immense ki. It's unprecedented, beyond anything I've sensed." The implications of such an unfathomable power originating from Namek filled him with a sense of urgency. Who wielded this unimaginable strength? Was it an ally, an adversary, or something entirely different?
His gaze shifted back to Liari, his thoughts racing as he grappled with the significance of this revelation. "I don’t know what you want to do next, but whatever we got going on right here and now is over. As far as I am concerned, I am far more worried with whatever that… Thing or person is doing on Namek and if it makes it’s way to Earth-."
Callion’s eyes widened with fear for a moment, sweat protruding down the side of his face. He didn’t consider what would happen if such a being of immense power would make its way to Earth… “Oh good Kami, if that thing makes it way to Earth, then everyone is done for.” The Saiyan said with dread, the threat of such a being of immense power would make Liari’s rampage of the multiple cities and the lives she taken, would be a mere speck of dust compared to the being who just managed to acquire immense power on the far side of the Universe.
As Callion continued to sense the surging power, his sense of duty and responsibility surged within him. If such an unprecedented force existed on Namek, it could pose a threat not only to the planet itself but also to the delicate balance of the universe.
Despite the ongoing battle with Liari, a new sense of purpose surged within Callion. Withdrawing from the battle momentarily, he focused entirely on the overwhelming ki emanating from Namek. Ignoring the chaos around him, he honed his senses, searching for clues, attempting to discern the nature of this newfound power. The significance of this discovery was beyond comprehension. If this immense energy truly existed on Namek, it might not only alter the course of his current conflict but also hold implications for the fate of the entire universe.
Callion's focus on the overwhelming power emanating from Namek was abruptly interrupted by a sudden, vivid transmission from King Kai. The small deity's worried visage appeared in Callion's mind, his voice carrying urgency and concern.
"Callion, I need you to listen carefully," King Kai began, his usually jovial demeanor replaced by a gravity that matched the weight of the situation. Callion looked up, his eyes widened, “King Kai? Whats going on over there?” Callion talked aloud for Liari to hear the Saiyan speaking to the deity as the student and master were connected by telepathy. "A Changeling named Artic has managed to collect all seven Namekian Dragon Balls. He's planning to make a wish to become the most powerful warrior in the universe."
A chill ran down Callion's spine as the implications of King Kai's words sank in. A Changeling seeking such power was undoubtedly a formidable threat, especially given their natural aptitude for combat and ability to increase their strength through transformations.
King Kai continued, his expression growing more solemn. "Not only that, but Artic has obtained the legendary Tree of Might seed. He's planning to plant it on Namek, and if that happens, it could spell disaster for the entire planet. The Tree of Might draws energy from the planet, and with the Dragon Balls' power, it could become an unstoppable force."
Callion's fists clenched involuntarily. The situation had escalated far beyond a personal battle or internal conflict. Now, the fate of Namek and potentially the entire universe hung in the balance. The responsibility weighed heavily on Callion's shoulders.
"You have to stop him, Callion," King Kai urged, his voice stern. "I know you're dealing with your own challenges, but this threat is too great to ignore. Artic must be prevented from making that wish, and the Tree of Might must not take root on Namek. Time is of the essence."
A resolute expression crossed Callion's face. The battle with Liari, as personal and intense as it was, had to be set aside temporarily. There were greater forces at play, threatening not only the innocent lives on Namek but the delicate balance of the universe itself.
"King Kai, I understand. I'll do everything in my power to stop Artic and prevent him from harming the planet earth. I’ll train as hard as I can and make my way to Earth as quickly as I can," Callion declared, determination burning in his eyes. King Kai nodded appreciatively. "Good luck, Callion. The fate of the Earth and possibly more rests on this very moment. I'll be monitoring the situation and offering whatever assistance I can from here."
With those words, the transmission ended, leaving Callion with a renewed sense of purpose. Turning his attention back to the distant Planet Namek, he steeled himself for the challenges ahead. The battle with Liari, as tumultuous as it was, would have to be put on hold. The fate of Namek now depended on the actions of the Super Saiyan warrior, before turning his attention to Liari. His eyes glared at her… The very same glare that he had all those years ago when she was at her basic form.
That very look of pure, unrelenting anger and fury.
