Halos noted that the wastes of hells were far larger than they had appeared to be when he had first visited hell and after a moment, he assumed to himself it would have to be to handle all damned souls of the universe. It would be interesting to keep exploring them all at his leisure, however he felt drawn to some distant part of hell, a faint whisper that made his blood ache unlike ever before. His eyes never leaving the distant horizon as he traveled steadily, his obsession for the source only growing as he drew closer and closer to the call. Before long his mind lost track of time as he traveled, what was days of travels felt like it was only a moment to him, his senses unaware of anything but the bewitching call that beckoned him into a long-forgotten part of hell.
And as abruptly as the call had started it ended, leaving a dazed Halos standing in front of a massive hill with two cave entrances just in front of him, each emitting the same pale green light as the other in the now darkened night sky. Only after all this time did the Titan come back to his senses, his mind snapping awake as confusion filled his normally stoic face as studied the scene in front of him, his deep blue eyes looking for anything that might explain his presence here.
His mind was racing at hundred miles a hour as he tried to figure out the strange turn of events, his sudden need to come here, the unknown source of the call, the strange area of hell that felt deeply hidden from prying eyes and perhaps the one that was bugging him the most was why had it targeted him? He had never been to hell before, never met anyone who might know him and draw him to them in hell. No each moment only added to the mystery of just why he was here, and no amount of deduction was getting him any closer to figuring it out. It made his blood boil in frustration.
It was not long till only a single thought invaded his mind, a single voice echoing in his head building to a roar and exiting his own lips as he roared in anger. "Insufferable!" He cried loudly as he started forward, his feet moving nearly moving on their own as he stomps towards the right cave as he starts ranting rather loudly. "What dead wretch dares summon a me in these wastes?" he bellowed as he words cut off as the green light grew brighter and brighter till he entered what seemed to be a room filled with countless arcane runes. Moving into the chamber his eyes darted side to side, the two orbs looking for whoever may be responsible for the summons. It was only when he got deeper into the chamber that he came to the realization that the runes were in Havlin, or rather the native language of the Sire.
Blinking Halos quickly calmed down as he studied the runes, the titans temper fading as quickly as it had come, a storm ending a suddenly as it had come. Moving closer he realized that many of the runes had faded and many more ever so slightly hummed with magical energy. On closer inspection he noticed that instead of the runes telling a story they simply were a countless list of names, some glowing brightly while others were barely lit and worse yet were those that magic was missing. The names missing the faint glow ran and dripped down like blood form a freshly open wound. Halos knew exactly what it meant, each dripping name was a brother or sister was without a doubt now dead, cleansed form the world by some cataclysmic event that had befallen their shell. Or worse he quickly realized, they might have been discovered by the gods and killed before they could awaken, murdered while they were still in artificial wound.
With that final thought he realized that his kind might not been as hidden as he had assumed, and surely actions that would shape the galaxy would draw the attention of the gods if they had not already had. More than ever the lessons taught by Kamae range true, the wisdom of staying hidden nearly falling on deaf ears before now seemed more important than even Kamae knew.
"Damnit.....Zaks that fool" he mutter aloud as he moved forward inspecting the names, searching for his and Zaks to prove his theory. It did not take him long before he found his own, glowing brightly, however Zaks was nowhere to be seen. Was he wrong about her? Perhaps she was not one of them at all? No, the fallen sister remembered nothing of their origin and likely had even forgotten her true name the foolish girl.
Running his hand over a name the magic filled him with faint memories, flashes revealing random images of an unknown brother still nestled in their womb waiting to be born. Another name revealing the same, and another and another as he let out a deep sigh. Finally, he felt the soft tug that had drawn him here, a name that slowly emitted a new faint blue color as if to draw him to it. Reaching forward he touched it, his mind reeling as a flood of images filled his mind each moving so quick that he barely could recall them. War, death and finally isolation filled his mind as Halos stumbled back, his mind reeling as he felt the call of his family.
He now knew that he and Zaks were not the only ones awake, not the only ones prepared for the fight of dominance but despite this knowledge he felt an intense need to find the missing siblings. A need to bring them together, as their leader, or at worse their servant. But before he could think on the matter more, the call that had brought him here filled his mind yet again, only this time it quickly drove him away from the hidden cave instead of towards.
Before the call had charmed him into coming against his will, this time it drove him away against he will, an irony the titan would recall sometime in the future. But for now, he moved as fast as he could to escape the shrill cry of the cave, his hands clutching his head in such a way that he failed to notice the sun had risen and more importantly what he now attempted to flee from. Behind him the sun revealed the true nature of the massive hill and what the caves truly where. A pair of eye sockets on a gargantuan skull covered with eons of dirt and rock where the skeleton of none other than the Sire now rested.
