...Well. Liari could safely say she wasn't looking forward to seeing this place again. The endless plains of nothing, the sky literally clouded over in yellow, jelly-bean like dimensional pockets floating overhead like islands in the sky... To a first-time visitor, this environment would catch the eye, play on one's curiosity... but as Liari had discovered, if you stay long enough, the novelty of this realm's difference wears off REAL quick. ...But she was here for a reason, not to sight-see anyway. With a grunt, her aura would EXPLODE all around her, broadcasting her FULL energy signature out across the land!
...She wanted to see Janemba. Revenge for the torture he had put her through was still a long way off. Even with her full, incredible might at her command, she was still a bug to the demon, a project that he could terminate at any time. He could no doubt crush her now with only the slightest more difficulty than he could have before. He was a monster... a TRUE and UTTER monster... but he was one that knew things. Janemba was mighty, a force of power beyond anything Liari had ever seen before. She KNEW that monster was still holding out on her... and she needed to know what, exactly, it was. Power, techniques, knowledge of how the universe worked, Liari was going to need ALL of it if her plans were to become clear... See, Liari didn't seek to spend her, or Terra's remaining lifespan on a planet that hated them. Her eyes had turned upwards, to the stars, where a million other planets untouched by their failures floated in the dark. One in particular, one surrounded by three stars and with a green sky touched her mind during her meditation sessions, one of blue land and knife-eared people, whose population was sparse and their situation was desperate... It was the perfect place to make a new start, a new impression... maybe get right with the universe and the things she did.
...There had to be some way to get out of being linked to this place.
"I never took you for an optimist." Janemba purred, fazing into existence before her! Liari now stood eye-to-eye with the demon, something Janemba noted with his smirk. "...And I see you mastered yourself at least. Those petty absorptions of yours no longer control you."
"No thanks to you." Liari snorted. The demon only chuckled and shook his head. She must've seemed like a yapping dog to him, too caught up in its own mood to understand... More amusing than irritating.
"What brought you back, then?" He questioned, crossing his arms over his chest. "You seemed so eager to escape and now here you are, back in my clutches." Liari's eye twitched at his phrasing. Janemba only smiled wider.
"You know what I want: Power." Liari grunted, trying to sound like she was in control.
"Of course you do." Janemba laughed. "Everyone in Hell seeks power. Whether they think they can escape this place or make some part of it their new home, they all want more than they have... and they'll do anything to get it. Are you willing to do ANYTHING to learn what I have to offer, Liari?"
"Yes." The majin stated without hesitation. Her eyes flashed from silver to a hard, determined red, her brow furrowing in a focused scowl. Janemba only laughed. Incredible. It had been a 50/50 bet with him if this girl would actually come back. On the one hand, majin were a naturally curious and greedy people, never content with what they had. It could have been POWER, or it could have been something as minor as food! They just needed more and more and more... It was why the demon was so amused with her! She was such an effective tool for spreading chaos!
"HA. Your confidence is refreshing. You have so much more SPUNK than last time." Janemba scoffed. Liari growled angrily. "Well, if you are so sure you're ready for what comes next, follow me. I will take you to more appropriate training ground." ...With that, Janemba flew off... with Liari right on his tail. Landscapes passed, as did time, to the point Liari had actually started to notice the little nuances of the environment shifting below her! ...Did Hell even HAVE environments? Whatever for? Nothing, technically, LIVED down here that necessitated environments! Was there more to this plane than meets the eye...? And, if so, why send the DEAD to this place? Liari had so many questions...
...But the only one she would receive an answer for today would be her request for power. Liari NEEDED power... but not for herself. She needed it for her daughter... for her love, Moire. THEY were her priority now and if she wasn't the strongest thing in the universe... well... ANYTHING could happen to them! That stupid Saiyan Athren might decide to finally kill them off for good or Quash might find his way out of this place and take revenge on her... by taking it out on them. That was why she brought herself down here again... If she was going to compete with that monster, Athren, then she needed raw power... She needed something she could use to GRIND her foes into the dust... She needed a hammer that could SMASH apart those that would want to harm the centers of her world...
...Well, Liari wouldn't be getting a hammer, but she would get something better: Shrapnel. Janemba and Liari would come to a stop before one of Hell's larger mountains, the demon sizing it up with his deep yellow eyes before turning to Liari.
"You have been working inside of or around the laws of dimensions up to this point." He growled before turning back to the mountain. "...Now, you will learn how to break them."
"What? Break..." Liari uttered... But before she could complete her sentence, Janemba had begun his demonstration! With a snarl, the demon would run his finger in a line across the air, leaving behind a sharp CUT through space where the pad of his finger had touched! The cut was a fluctuating green line, delicate and thin, as if any change in the wind could shatter it... and shattering it was something to behold! with a ROAR from the demon, the line cracked and SMASHED into a billion tiny shards that ROCKETED towards the mountainside, SLICING IT INTO A MILLION PIECES as a hail of sparkling glass-like shards of dimensional reality FLASHED through it, Liari's jaw dropping in SHOCK at the sheer disregard for the durability of the mountain! Even SHE would have struggled to destroy it herself, given how much TOUGHER things were here! Liari blinked, then looked back at Janemba who smirked at her.
"This is the power I offer... The power YOU will learn."
