Out in the middle of the the Bamboo Forest, Majin Moire was out and about once again, exploring the vast and densely covered locale with wonder and awe, curious as to how such a sprawling place ever came to be, and how even in the midst of such rapidly advancing technology it remains mostly untouched. Sure there's a house and a small village here and there, but in the rest of the forest, nature has taken its own claim over the land, void of most other human or humanoid figures. It wasn't like people were being kept out, but rather that it seems that the place hasn't garnered the attention of most people, most being the most apt word, for not only has Moire made her way through to see what lies beyond the treeline, but so has a rather interesting little group of friends.
As the majin makes her way through one particular clearing, she spots what appears to be some sort of building foundation, a great big elevated square floor on the ground and surrounded by a whole bunch of humans, eleven in total. They were equipped with the likes of handsaws, shoots of bamboo and planks of wood, tables, nails, and a whole bunch of clueless faces, all looking over blueprints for what Moire presumes are the plans for building some sort of house in the middle of the forest. Why this spot in particular is beyond the majin as it seems rather isolated from just about everywhere else. Most of the people living out here tend to be hermits or ones that are tied with nature, but these people looking like they just got out of college or somewhere along those lines. Just what were they planning?
"Excuse me?" Moire calls out as she approaches the group. In confusion, some of the young adults turn their heads to gaze upon the sight of a majin, panic suddenly shooting across their faces as they point at her and grab hold of the ones that aren't looking, begging them to look at what was in front of them. They slowly start backing away from the majin, with the three largest of the group in front covering the rest of the people, acting as shields for the rest, though only succeeding in making Moire confused. Just why would they react that way to seeing her? After all, she was just a ma-... Wait, that's probably it. After meeting so many powerful individuals, devoid of any fear of her, Moire had completely forgotten that the general populace hadn't forgotten what the likes of Liari had done to the people, especially those in East and South City.
Moire raises both of her hands up and tries to calm them down, stating, "Woah, woah, I don't mean any harm. I was just curious as to why you were all out here in the Bamboo Forest." The largest of the group, a man that stood well over six feet tall and was completely bound in muscle moves ever so slightly forward and speaks up, barking, "You first, Majin" She was a bit surprised at all of the hostility, but it's all up to her how she handles this whole situation. She sighs and lowers her hands, explaining to the young group, "I've just come to explore the wilderness of the planet. Your land is so precious, so varied, so colorful, and contains such beauty, that I had to see it all for myself. Now, why are you out here?"
The large man turns his head back over to the rest of the group, the others whispering amongst themselves for a bit until they go up to their leader and whisper something into his own ear. He gives them a little nod before turning his gaze back onto the majin, stating, "Look, we came out here so that we can get a head start on a summer vacation spot, we don't want any trouble from a majin, alright?" Moire couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, asking, "Trouble? I never intended to cause any sort of trouble. I was just curious with what was going on? Also, I don't want to be rude, but it seems like your group might be having a bit of trouble putting everything together here. Do you perhaps need any assistance?"
Now it was the leader's turn to be confused, cocking his brow before turning back to the rest of the group, who have started to stand around more casually after it seems like the stress has slowly died out. They speak amongst themselves once again before one of the smaller ones steps forward from the group, a man who looked far younger than the rest of the group as he mentions, "I suppose we could use a bit of help. We're not exactly very experienced architects or anything, we just wanted to have fun during the summer. I think we might've gotten a bit overly ambitious..."
"Well," Moire starts before giving a little chuckle as she makes her approach, "I think I can definitely help in this regard. I am a majin, after all. I can get this sort of project done real quick." "How so?" one of the ladies near the front speak up as everyone begins to approach the majin. Moire soon claps her hands together, surrounding herself in a sudden flash of black light. As soon as it had appeared, the flash disappears, and Moire stands before everybody else, except now she was wearing a different outfit. From her visits in the city, she had witnessed the attire of construction workers, and as such was now wearing tight jeans, black shoes, a white shirt along with an orange vest with yellow stripes, finishing if all off with a yellow hardhat and safety glasses. She didn't really need the outfit, but she figured that she'd play around a bit.
She makes her way over to the base of the future house and looks over the landscape, all before turning her gaze over to the lady from before and asking, "Could I see the blueprints, please?" With no hesitation the young lady passes the blueprints over to Moire, who after just briefly glancing them over extends her hand out towards one lone part of the flooring. Moments pass, and as the majin closes her hand a puff of steam erupts from the ground in front of her. When the cloud clears, out stands a single wall, standing tall and proud amidst the flooring. She turns to the rest of the group and mentions, "This is what I can do. With my help, this really shouldn't take too long. There is but one thing I'm going to need in exchange, however... Food!"
The group looks at each other in slight confusion, wondering why food of all things for payment. The young man from earlier asks, "Well, what about money? Can't you buy food with that?" "Well I'm a bit peckish now, and I'm pretty sure you've already spent quite a bit of money getting this project going," Moire retorts before closing her fist once again, spawning another wall that now connects to the first one. The young man just shrugs and looks over at the others, asking, "Where's the cooler and grill?" "Right here," the lead responds, carrying the cooler in one hand and the grill in the other as if they didn't cause any strain on him whatsoever. Moire's eyes widen a bit at the sight, wondering just what it was that these guys have packed away for food. Her mouth was already starting water a bit at the thought, but first she has a job to complete.
A few hours later, and Moire had just placed the finishing touches on the outside of the vacation house, making sure all of the roof tiles are in place. Drops of sweat practically decorated Moire's body as the strain of having to conjure up so many individual pieces in such large quantities really has taken a toll on her stamina for the time being. She turns back around and states, "And... There we go... All done... Except the interior..." The lead from earlier soon approaches the majin and thanks her, mentioning, "Hey thanks for all of the help, you really saved us. And don't worry about the interior, we'll take care of that. It's our place, after all, you and the rest of us." Moire was a bit surprised at the statement, asking, "Me?" "Well of course. You helped build the place after all. We can talk about the finer details later, but right now I think the food's ready."
Moire immediately swings back around as she looks down at the nearby table, the rest of the gang already sitting around waiting for the food on the grill to be served, still smoking hot and fresh. The majin's mouth opens wide and begins drooling just at the sight of the food as she is surrounded by another brilliant flash of black light before reverting back to her original outfit. Immediately she rushes over to the rest of the table and takes a seat near the end, grabbing hold of a nearby fork and knife and ready to eat whatever is put in front of her. Just hours before she and these people barely knew each other, and now she was sitting at their table, waiting with everybody else for some nice, delicious food.
