Majin Moire needed to distance herself for quite a while. Ever since witnessing what has happened to Orange City and feeling a sense of guilt despite never being on Earth at the time, she needed a bit of a break and takes a detour away from her planned visit to South City. To where exactly, the majin didn't quite know, for all that she knew that she needed was time away from the city. As such, the East became her spot for today, and so she finally takes her chance to relax and calm her mind for a bit as the gentle breeze blows past the few scattered trees across the plains and through Moire's tendrils. She leaned against one of the trunks of the trees that dotted the land, and she takes a moment to relax...

That is, until she felt a strong presence nearby, a presence that was far stronger than her. Moire's eyes shoot wide open as she wonders just who this could be, as the energy she's sensing doesn't feel familiar. The majin debated a bit to herself, thinking that perhaps she should let that power slide and ignore it, but the more she thought about it and the more the thought of being alone continues to grow, perhaps it would be best for her to see just who exactly this is and what they are up to. Moire could probably use more social interaction, after all. The majin pushes herself away from the tree trunk and faces her body in the direction of the stranger's power. As if the wind was carrying her off, she floats upwards and begins to slowly fly over to her location, keeping herself low to the ground as she does so.

Minutes later, Moire arrives at the scene, and not wanting to so brazenly approach the stranger, decides to obscure herself for a bit by hiding amidst the bushes and trees, which were far more dense in this part of the pastures. The majin couldn't quite make out what it was that she was looking at, but presumes that it might be some sort of ship of some kind, its doorway slowly opening to allow the stranger inside. Speaking of which, it looks like the stranger is none other than a saiyan woman, paired with a rather muscular build akin to Flare, who seemed to have been practicing something out here in the middle of nowhere. When she started to look around, however, Moire ducks behind cover, still not quite knowing if she was at all hostile, though signs point that she isn't.

Moire peaks out from cover once again as the lady says hello, as if she was wondering if there was somebody watching her. The majin knew she would only make things worse for herself if she continued to just stand back and watch from a distance, and from what she has gathered, Moire can at least be semi-confident that she isn't going to be threatened. She finally builds up a bit of courage to wade her way through the brush and foliage before making her presence known, announcing and greeting back, "Hello there! I couldn't help but notice that you were out here in seemingly the... The middle of nowhere... What exactly are you doing out here?"

It seems like Moire's hunch was correct as the pretty lady was kind enough to not immediately blast her the moment the majin showed her face. This certainly was a good start, and as Moire continued to approach the stranger she introduces herself as Tanya, who just so happened to have arrived on Earth a while back. What a coincidence, the two of them being new arrivals to the planet. She gives Tanya a warm smile before mentioning, "Ah, funnily enough I've recently arrived here as well, about two weeks ago. As for my name, I am Majin Moire, though you can go with Moire if you'd like. A bit less of a mouthful that way." 

Moire extends her own hand out and accepts Tanya's handshake, noting that her grip was quite firm. Her eyes follow Tanya's finger over back to what appears to be her ship. It certainly looked quite fancy, Moire noting that she's seen these kinds of ships back over in West City. If she can recall, these things were made by Capsule Corp, and they certainly don't spare any expense with some of these crafts. Perhaps Moire should grab one herself someday, maybe take a trip over to Namek or Vegeta when she's done exploring Earth. "Quite a lovely ship," she comments as she slowly approaches it.

Tanya then goes on to explain that she plans on building a house here soon, though lacks the funds and materials to finish things off. It's a smart thing to do, just living in your ship parked in the wilderness to not have to rent a room at a motel or something along those lines. On top of that, she even has some sort of device known as a gravity chamber, which can simulate gravities far greater than Earth's own. Naturally, Moire was quite curious about such a device and how such a feat could be achieved, but the fact that Tanya was able to survive training at forty four times earth's gravity was quite astonishing. "Times fourty four?" she questions, wondering just how truly strong the saiyan was, "That must put quite the strain on your body."

She then offers Moire a chance to try it out herself, being so outwardly friendly to the majin, especially given what's been going on through the news channels. Then again, being all the way out here in the middle of nowhere, maybe she doesn't know much about Liari's chaos. Tanya waits for Moire's response, and after a bit of careful consideration, she replies, "Well, I suppose I can check this out. Though, I'll need some more proper attire. Give me just a moment." With little delay, Moire is suddenly enveloped in a flash of black light, and retreats almost as fast as it came. Moire emerges once again, except this time she wore her sports bra and tights she imagines from Flare's own work outfit. Her gaze falls back to Tanya as she asks, "So... how does this thing work?"

Though Moire had her own concerns regarding all of this gravity training, Tanya merely brushes it all off, excusing herself as it being part of her saiyan biology and being built to always improve oneself. The majin can't say that she's the most knowledgeable in regards to saiyan biology, but it certainly sounds right judging from the ones she has already spoken to such as the Queen. "That makes sense. I can imagine that I won't have too much trouble myself. I'm made of magic, and I don't exactly have anything solid or rigid in my body such as bones, so there's no need for anything breaking." The more she starts to think about it, the more Moire thinks that perhaps she too should be investing in something like this gravity training stuff. If it's capable of making Tanya as strong as she currently is, then maybe it should have a similar effect on the majin, if not greater.

The two continue walking into the chamber as Tanya explains how the system works, with the gravity chamber being able to simulate the gravity of other planets and even further beyond that. She also makes a point regarding that it was Capsule Corp who made it despite most humans likely being unable to handle something like this. "It certainly has its uses in the right hands, though," Moire comments, looking around the mostly empty chamber, with everything either missing or nailed down to the ground for obvious reasons. The saiyan mentions that they'll be starting things off at twenty times Earth's gravity, which certainly seemed like quite a lot to the majin, so perhaps Tanya's got quite a bit of faith in Moire's own resilience.

Of course the majin was still a bit distracted by looking around in the chamber, as she's never been in a space quite like this one. Her gaze falls back on Tanya as she initiates the gravity change, the room suddenly shifting to red lights as Moire was immediately pulled down onto the ground, a loud thud echoing across the room. "Gah!" Moire exclaims as she plans her hands on the ground and tries to pull herself off of the ground. The majin does her best to lift her body up from the ground, though it took great effort just to get back up and running again. She was putting great effort in trying to get up, but it was a bit too much for her to get up. She knew that she shouldn't have put on those other weights while in a gravity chamber. The pressure she was feeling across her entire boy was intense, and she felt like she was going to pass out at any moment. That is, until she comes to a realization: Her frustration.

With the pain coursing through her body and her inability to bring herself back up, Moire's pores start bellowing out purple steam, her arms bulking up on their own as the majin's fury at herself starts to build up more and more, pushing her body up higher and higher until she was finally back up on her own two feet, her face still contorted with rage, heavily breathing from the strain. Even when unleashing her full power, the weights combined with the gravity she felt were still very much keeping her down, but at least she can move once more. "Sorry... You have to... See me like this!" she mutters through her clenched teeth, the majin taking opportunities to through out punches and kicks, trying her best to get used to the new gravity.

Though Tanya was able to handle this gravity with ease, Moire was struggling with getting used to the sudden shift. As her body slowly got more acclimated with the new weight put onto her, the steam within her started to pour out slower and slower, her initial burst of rage fading away as time marched onward. The majin needed to have a moment for herself to breathe in and out slowly, just to be certain that she can handle just standing around. The pressure was still there, ever pervasive, but she refuses to let it get to her, and she doesn't plan on going down so easily. Tanya makes this whole ordeal look so easy, and Moire refuses to give up on this right here and now. How else does she expect to improve herself if she can't handle what the saiyan can?

"Don't... Don't turn it down..." Moire responds, her breath heavy thanks to the gravity weighing her down, "I can take it..." Moire puts her arms at rest to her side and keeps herself steady, and what little wobbling there was in her legs soon ceases. The majin was finally able to stand completely still, but how would she do when she starts to move? As Tanya was busy throwing out more punches and kicks, Moire instead focuses on trying to jump, the majin pushing against the floor to shoot herself upward. Due to the gravity, however, she barely even got an inch off of the ground before she came back down, her legs wobbling once more from the sudden return to the ground. Moire keeps herself steady once more, her face strained from the force coming down upon her as she maintains her balance.

"How... How did you even get started on this stuff?" She questions Tanya as the saiyan was busy doing pushups, showing little sign that the artificial gravity was affecting her in any major way. It was practically child's play to her, but to the majin it was a true test of strength, a test she had only seen before with her spar against Flare. The majin tries to jump once again, and once more she's brought back to the ground sharply. Moire crouches down to the ground for extra propulsion, but it was a struggle to even bend her knees without falling back down to the ground, and it was even more of a challenge getting back up. These simple exercises, ones that were mere child's play to Moire, were now extremely intensive on the majin's body, surprising her with how efficient the technology is.

Squats was pretty much what Moire had to stick to if she plans on jumping inside of the chamber, and so she got busy. The majin continued squatting repeatedly, each successive one moving ever so slightly quicker as her body adjusts. The steam had practically ceased at this point, but her unleashed power still remained intact. Moire looks back over at Tanya before asking her, "How long have you been doing this sort of routine?" Her breath was notably far less ragged now, the airflow finally starting to open back up once more for the majin.

Though Moire herself was finally starting to get adjusted to the new gravity, Tanya, as the majin anticipated, was only now sweating from her own workout. As she continue pushing her body and going through more squats, the saiyan mentions that old fashioned training wasn't working for her completely, and so she opted to go for this gravity training in order to push herself even more. As the majin rises up from the ground one last time from the weight of gravity on her, she responds back, "Well you're certainly getting your money's worth out of this thing..." Then again she didn't quite know how much this sort of technology costs Tanya, if she even had to pay for it. Capsule Corp can sometimes be a bit on the generous side.

Moire continues to try pushing herself, this time opting to try out some stretches. The majin grabs hold of her right thigh and attempts to lift her leg up into the air. Her other leg gets a bit wobbly as she no longer had two legs to support her, but now that she was starting to get used to moving around in gravity, eventually she was able to lift the leg all the way up and above her head as her hand reaches up to grab hold of her calf to keep it steady in the air. She maintains the position for a good few seconds before lowering it back to the ground as Tanya explains her own experience with the gravity chamber. "Times fifty gravity?" She asks, "That really must put quite the strain on one's body. Does the machine go any higher, or is this all that it can do?"

Not that she's going to be training at fifty times Earth's gravity anytime soon considering how much of a strain twenty times gravity is on her body already. As soon as Moire's leg touches the ground she repeats the original process, this time using her left leg. Her form was far less wobbly than the first time, and she was able to more easily extend her leg all the way up once again, beads of sweat starting to dot the majin's forehead, arms and body. As she was stretching, she noticed that Tanya was looking over at the majin. It's likely because she's just checking in to make sure she's doing alright, but Moire can't really help but blush just a bit out of embarrassment. With Flare as well, she's starting to notice a pattern of her 'weakness.' Once her leg touches the ground once again, it was about time Moire put herself to the test and see if she was capable of her magic under such strain.

"Have you ever met a majin before, Tanya?" she questions the saiyan as she extends a hand out, steam suddenly appearing in her palm in an instant. "Might be a strange thing to ask, but I don't recall my kind being all too common here on this planet. I wonder since I might have something here for you." Moire focuses her attention on the palm of her hand, more steam pouring out of seemingly nowhere until at long last it finally begins to fade away. Within the palm of her hand lies a single bottle of water, albeit only an eight ounce one. She was going to go for more, but it seems like the gravity was even putting a strain on her magic. She holds the water out and shakes it a bit, asking the saiyan, "Need any?"

Tanya seemed to be almost a bit disappointed that the machine she and Moire were standing in could only go up to fifty times normal gravity. What did grab the majin's attention, however, was that the saiyan mentioned that she's going to need to have the chamber upgraded, insinuating that the settings can go even higher. "Even higher than fifty times gravity?" She questions, the majin pondering on just how far technology has come to achieve such results. How far could gravity chambers even go at this point? Moire wasn't quite sure, especially since technology wasn't exactly her specialty. Magic's always been her personal field of expertise, but she doesn't think that her magic is capable of creating something as specific as a gravity chamber out of thin air.

The saiyan mentions that her body tends to get used to the shift in gravity as she's exposed to it more and more, which wasn't all too unique to what Moire was going through at the current moment. Perhaps the reason Moire had struggled so much before was because she had been in normal gravity for so long and hasn't been in any alternate gravity that she wasn't quite used to it yet. "I'm fairly certain that if I were to give it some more time, I'd be able to handle something like this... Maybe even a bit more intense," Moire comments, though she didn't quite know if she wanted to go all out already considering how strong twenty times Earth's gravity already was on her.

Once Moire asked Tanya if she had met any majin before her, she pauses for a bit of time, possibly thinking back to an encounter that she did have with one of her kind. Eventually the saiyan mentions that she has met only one majin before, a majin that Moire was already quite familiar with: Terra. She too had met Terra not too long ago, though the remark regarding her temper was certainly something that the elder majin didn't experience from her. Considering what Moire had to do to push herself early on in gravity training, however, perhaps she's already getting ideas on how her kind works...

"Truly?" she asks, coming back to a standing rest as she tries to relax her body, "I've actually met Terra myself a few days ago, over in one of the big cities. Not really too sure about any temper, though. She was such a sweet girl indeed, and ambitious, too, from what I'm hearing. You... You didn't train her in here, did you?" Surely Tanya wouldn't be irresponsible to allow Terra into the chamber at such a young age, but she should at least inquire, especially since she's rather curious about this temper that Moire herself never witnessed. Once Tanya accepts the water bottle from Moire's hand, the majin stretches her arms a bit once more before the saiyan moves over to the console. 

She shuts of the gravity, and immediately the majin feels immense relief all across her body as the pressure not only dissipates, but it almost feels like she's lighter now. It was so easy to move around now, and she begins to wonder if this is just how it normally is or if she's gotten a bit stronger just from one short session alone. Moire jumps from the ground to test, ascending several feet into the air and almost touching the ceiling of the chamber before slowly floating back down to the ground, all the while steam slowly escapes her pores. "I feel like I'm light on my feet again," Moire comments before touching the ground once more, her power rapidly going down now that her fury was sated.

Tanya wasn't quite sure how far these gravity chambers can go in terms of modifiers, but if there's room for these things to be upgraded, then surely they can grow to some real extremes. Moire can just imagine it now, reaching gravity thresholds like eighty times gravity, or even over one hundred times the gravity of Earth, and how that it makes her feel like mush now, perhaps there might be a chance for her someday to climb up there herself and grow into such a powerful being. She... She didn't quite know why she desired to acquire so much power herself still, but it just felt right to her. "We'll certainly need to check where the ceiling for these things lie," Moire comments, conjuring up a single small white towel to start rubbing off the sweat that dotted her body after Tanya grabbed her own.

Moire is gracious for the saiyan's encouraging words, the lady believing that she can push herself to reach the same heights that she's currently crossing. The majin gives her arms a bit of a flex, seeing them bulk up just a bit from the action alone. Whether this was a normal reaction from her body or if it's subconsciously pumping her arms up to appear stronger, it still felt real to her. It felt good seeing progress despite how this sessions didn't exactly last for a very long time as she felt far more agile, though it could merely just be a psychological change. Then again, Moire's an expert in the magical arts, and she certainly isn't the right person to speak to when it comes to learning about the mind. The only one she knows is her own, and even then it's still covered in its own fog.

Thankfully it seems like Tanya showed restraint and didn't bring Terra over to the gravity chamber, instead insisting that they just trained together and sparred. As to what sort of sparring they did, Moire can only imagine since she recalls Tanya mentioning that the little majin got real angry. Under great stress like what Moire went through earlier in the gravity chamber, her kind has a bit of a tendency to lose their temper, so perhaps it's anticipated that Terra might've lost her cool when the two fought. "Ah, good," she replies, relieved in this information, "Perhaps with time she's grow more accustomed to that sort of training. Majin are a bit unique when it comes to their maturity, and I'm not quite sure how fast or slow she'll progress. Keep an eye on her, for her auntie Ayu's sake, and..." She stops herself before continuing, almost mentioning Liari. She didn't even know if Tanya was aware of Liari, but she refrains from using her name.

As Moire was checking out how light she felt, Tanya mentions how glad she is as to how the majin has progressed and even gives her a little flirt, her weakness slowly crawling its way back up as she faces away from the saiyan and blushes once more. She suggests trying some more training when Moire can handle the higher settings, and so with a bit of her face still blushing from her earlier remark as she remarks, "Y-yeah, that would be wonderful. But... what to do in the meantime, then?"
