Callion sat atop a rocky outcropping; his eyes closed as he meditated. He had been on Earth for some time now since having returned from Otherworld, having previously died at the hands of Liari. His current goal was seeking to master his power, become stronger than ever before, and find a way to locate the dragonballs to bring back all those that had died in South City back to life. His journey to search for the Dragonballs started high and low across the vast continents. Hot and Cold, windy and quiet, North and South, East and West, the Saiyan searched everywhere for the mystical Orbs to find nothing. Throughout the quick time of searching from one area to another, as he journeyed across the world, he soon discovered that there was much more to Earth than he had ever imagined.
He recalled the days of him having trained with the legendary martial artist Master Roshi, learning the secrets of the Kamehameha wave and other powerful techniques. He had fought against powerful foes like the crime syndicate of North City, the Bandits and Monsters from all over the planet, and even training the many various faces that came and went from this world, testing his strength and honing his skills in battle. But despite all his training, Callion knew that he had yet to unlock his true potential. He could sense that there was a power within him, a power that was waiting to be unleashed.
And so he had journeyed to the remote mountains of Mount Paozu, seeking solitude and a chance to meditate on his innermost thoughts and feelings. He sat cross-legged on the rocky outcropping, his mind clear and focused, as he sought to unlock the secrets of his innermost being. As he meditated, he felt his body begin to shift and change, as the energy within him began to surge and grow. He opened his eyes and looked down at his hands, marveling at the way they glowed with an inner light. He stood up and stretched, feeling a new sense of power and vitality coursing through his veins. He knew that he had tapped into something deep and powerful within himself, something that would help him become the warrior he was meant to be.
But even as he felt this new surge of energy, he knew that he still had much to learn. He needed a teacher, someone who could help him unlock the true potential of his powers and guide him on the path to greatness…
Though that was the moment when his meditation was interrupted by his Master King Kai:
"Callion, thank goodness you're still alive. I saw the whole ordeal over at South City! Are you alright?" King Kai spoke to the Saiyan Telepathically, the very King Kai himself resided over at Otherworld, his antenna moving about as he spoke. "I tell you, that Majin Liari in that stolen Great Ape form was something else, her power could've been more than enough to destroy the entire planet." The master continued, having witnessed the entire events from the other side. "And Quash... That Saiyan warrior that was under her control. I can't believe you managed to get through to him, which was enough for that Saiyan to fight back and regain his senses... I am sorry for your loss. But you did well." King Kai spoke with compliments to Callion. The Saiyan that was meditating however, only sighed, he was in no mood to talk about what happened to South City, with the once bustling metropolis having been reduced to rubble.
Callion's mind was heavy with the weight of what had transpired in South City. He had returned to Earth with a mission to stop the dreaded menace that Liari was inflicting across the planet, from city to city, but he had never expected to be caught up in such a devastating battle. He had fought against the Majin Liari who had transformed into a Giant Ape, a form that was stolen from the Saiyans, trying to protect the innocent people of South City from their destructive onslaught. And in the end, he had succeeded in breaking the mind control that had enslaved the Saiyan warrior Quash, allowing him to turn against his former allies and fight for the side of good.
But the victory had come at a terrible cost. Many innocent lives had been lost, and the city lay in ruins, a stark reminder of the destructive power of the forces that Callion was fighting against. He opened his eyes and looked up at the Sky, listening to the words of King Kai, the wise and powerful mentor who had taken him under his wing and was currently teaching him the secrets of the Spirit Bomb, after the Saiyan had mastered the Kaioken. He could sense the concern and compassion in the master's voice, but he was in no mood for praise or platitudes. "I did what I had to do," he said quietly, his voice heavy with emotion. "But it wasn't enough. So many lives lost, so much destruction... I don't know if I can keep going like this. It's like every victory is just another step towards an even greater tragedy."
King Kai nodded sympathetically, his antenna twitching in understanding. "I know it's hard, Callion," he said. "But you can't give up. You have a duty to protect this planet, and to fight for what is right. And you have the power to make a difference. You just need to believe in yourself, and in the power of the Spirit Bomb." Callion took a deep breath and nodded, his resolve strengthening. He knew that King Kai was right. He couldn't let the tragedy of South City defeat him. He had to keep fighting, keep training, and keep striving to become the warrior he was meant to be. "Thank you, King Kai," he said, his voice steadier now. "I won't give up. I'll keep training, keep fighting, and keep striving to become stronger. For the people of Earth, and for the memory of those who have been lost."
"Atta boy Callion." King Kai said with a smile. "Look, I know it's been rough for you, and with you and your friends having survived South City... But I think it's time for you to carry on with your training at last. I'll have one of the ogre demons open up a portal for you on Earth so you can come to Otherworld on my humble planet. We need to get you back up to pace in learning the Spirit Bomb. It's week 3 now, so I'll have to teach on how to develop and make a small, basic Spirit Bomb in the palm of your hands." King Kai informed Callion, suggesting that he should come to Otherworld for further training. that he should come to Otherworld for further training.
"I'm ready to learn, King Kai," he said with determination. "I'll do whatever it takes to master the Spirit Bomb, and to become the strongest warrior I can be." King Kai smiled, his antenna twitching in approval. "That's the spirit, Callion," he said. "I'll have the portal opened for you right away. And when you get here, we'll begin your training in earnest. You'll learn how to harness the energy of the living beings around you, and how to shape that energy into a potent weapon that can defeat even the strongest foes."
Callion stood up from his meditative position, feeling a renewed sense of purpose and resolve. He was ready to take on the challenges that lay ahead, and to become the warrior he was meant to be. And with King Kai as his guide and mentor, he knew that anything was possible. "Thank you, King Kai," he said with gratitude. "I'll make you proud." And with that, he stepped through the portal, ready to begin his training in Otherworld.
Callion felt a moment of disorientation as he stepped through the portal, the world around him twisting and contorting as he passed from one realm to another. But soon enough, the swirling colours faded away, replaced by a serene landscape that took his breath away. He found himself standing on a small, grassy hill, surrounded by trees that shimmered with an otherworldly light. The sky above him was a deep shade of blue, with fluffy yellow clouds drifting lazily by. And in the distance, he could see a large palace, its white walls gleaming in the sunlight. It appears the portal had taken Callion into Heaven this time.
"Welcome back to Otherworld," a voice said, breaking him out of his reverie. Callion turned to see a large, ogre-like demon standing nearby, his red eyes glinting with intelligence. "I am Goz, one of King Yemma’s assistants. He sent me to escort you to King Kai’s planet along snakeway." Callion nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation building within him. He followed Goz down the hill and onto a winding path that led through a forest of strange, glowing trees. Along the way, he saw other creatures wandering about, some humanoid and some not, all of them with a surreal, otherworldly quality.
As they approached King Yemma’s palace, Callion felt a sense of awe wash over him. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before, a towering structure of gleaming white marble and gold trim of Japanese design, surrounded by perfectly manicured gardens and sparkling fountains. The sheer majesty of it all took his breath away, yet at the same time reminded him of how it was the start of the path that would take him, once again, to the entrance of Snake way and at the very end, would lead him towards King Kai’s small planet. It took Callion less time than it used to, possibly as a result of him becoming a lot stronger than before. He smirked, and slowly landed on King Kai’s planet, bowing before his teacher.
“Welcome back Callion.” King Kai's voice spoke into his mind. “Are you ready to begin your training?" Callion took a deep breath, steeling himself for the challenges ahead. "Yes, King Kai," he replied. "I'm ready."
"Good," King Kai said. "First, we'll need to work on your energy control. To create a Spirit Bomb, you'll need to be able to sense and gather the energy of the living beings around you. This takes practice and focus. But with determination, you'll get the hang of it in no time." As they walked through the surreal landscape, King Kai began to teach Callion the basics of energy control. He showed him how to focus his mind, and how to sense the life force of the plants and animals around him. He taught him how to draw that energy into himself, and how to shape it into a potent weapon.
King Kai sat on his small chair upon his home planet, watching as Callion the Saiyan practiced his techniques in order to warm up. He had taken the young warrior under his wing to teach him the ways of the Spirit Bomb, a powerful technique that drew energy from all living things in order to create a devastating blast. As Callion focused his energy, King Kai observed his progress with a critical eye. The Saiyan had already shown an impressive aptitude for the technique, having absorbed the spirit energy of otherworld during his first week of training. And in the second week, he had managed to hit Gregory on the head with a small blast of energy, demonstrating his control over his powers.
But now, as they entered the third week of training, King Kai knew that the real challenge lay ahead. Creating a small ball of spirit energy might seem simple, but it required a deep connection with the living world around them, a connection that few warriors ever truly mastered.
It was hard work, and at times frustrating, but Callion was determined to master this technique. He could feel his strength growing with each passing day, as he learned to tap into the boundless energy of Otherworld. "Focus, Callion," King Kai said. "Sense the life force around you, and gather it within yourself. Channel that energy into your hands, and shape it into a sphere." Callion closed his eyes, and focused his mind. He could feel the energy of Otherworld coursing through his veins, a powerful force that he could barely contain. With a deep breath, he reached out with his senses, and began to gather the energy of the living beings around him. It was a strange sensation, like a million voices all speaking at once. But Callion could sense the life force of the plants and animals, the spirits and entities that inhabited Otherworld. He drew that energy into himself, and focused it into his hands.
Slowly, a bright ball of energy began to form in his palms. It pulsed and shimmered, a radiant sphere of pure power. And as Callion opened his eyes, he felt a surge of triumph and pride. He had done it. He had created a Spirit Bomb. "Excellent work, Callion," King Kai said with a smile. "You've come a long way since you first arrived here. But your training is far from over. There is always more to learn, more challenges to overcome. And I have no doubt that you will rise to meet them."
Callion looked to King Kai with a smile, as he allowed the small Spirit Bomb to disappear and evaporate in the palm of his hands. "King Kai... Can you explain to me the full, indepth technique of the Spirit Bomb... And this Basic form of the Spirit Bomb that I had just performed?" The Saiyan asked King Kai, wanting a fresh reminder in his training and wanting to truly understand the technique.
King Kai nodded, pleased with Callion's progress so far. "Of course, Callion. The Spirit Bomb is a powerful technique that draws upon the energy of all living things in the universe. It requires great concentration and control, as well as a pure heart to wield it. The Basic form of the Spirit Bomb, which you just performed, is a small ball of spirit energy that can be used to attack opponents or gather energy for the larger version of the technique." King Kai explained, as he gestured for Callion to follow him.
They walked through a small path on the planet, leading to a large open field where King Kai began to demonstrate the full technique. "To perform the full Spirit Bomb, you must first gather energy from all living things around you. This includes plants, animals, and even the earth itself. The more energy you gather, the stronger the technique will be." King Kai said, as he demonstrated how to gather the energy.
Callion watched closely, taking in all the details of the technique. As King Kai continued to explain, he began to feel a sense of excitement and determination to master the technique. He knew it would be a difficult task, but he was willing to put in the hard work and dedication required. "Once you have gathered enough energy, you must focus it into a ball and launch it at your opponent. The Spirit Bomb is a powerful technique that can defeat even the strongest of opponents, but it requires great skill and control to use effectively." King Kai finished, as he turned to face Callion.
The Saiyan nodded, taking in everything he had learned. "Thank you, King Kai. I will work hard to master the Spirit Bomb and become a powerful warrior." He said, as he prepared to begin his training. "For now, you should return home to Earth and rest. You are nearly there. Next week will be the last week in your training, and you will finally Master the Spirit Bomb." King Kai said, calling for Goz; one of King Yemma's assistance and the very individual responsible for opening portal to and from the Otherworld for those who had the special priviledge. "Take care soon Callion, go and find Goz. He should be at King Yemma's Castle here in Otherworld. Just fly across Snakeway and you'll see him."
Callion nodded, feeling a sense of accomplishment and determination to finish his training. He thanked King Kai for all his guidance and support, and headed off towards King Yemma's castle to find Goz and make his way back to Earth.
As he flew across Snakeway, Callion took in the sights of Otherworld. He saw many different beings and creatures, both good and evil, who had passed on to the afterlife. Some were training and improving their skills, while others were simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
When he arrived at King Yemma's castle, Callion found Goz waiting for him. The ogre demon opened a portal for him and bid him farewell. Callion stepped through the portal and felt the rush of energy as he returned to Earth.
As Callion landed on the ground, , Callion took a deep breath and felt a sense of relief to be back home. He knew he had one more week of training to complete, but he was ready for it. With a newfound sense of determination, he made his way back to Mount Paozu to rest and prepare for the final week of his training with King Kai. After completing his third week of training with King Kai, he felt exhausted but also incredibly accomplished. He knew that his training had been challenging, but he also felt that he had learned a great deal about his own inner strength and abilities.
As he reflected on his experiences, Callion realized that the training had been about much more than just learning how to create a Spirit Bomb. It had been about learning how to harness his own power and use it to protect others, even in the face of great danger. Callion also realized that his training had taught him about the importance of perseverance and determination. Even when things had seemed difficult or impossible, he had pushed himself to keep going and had ultimately succeeded in mastering the Spirit Bomb.
Looking back on his journey, Callion felt grateful for the guidance and support of King Kai, as well as for the friends and allies he had made along the way. He knew that he still had much to learn and improve upon, but he also felt confident that he could face whatever challenges lay ahead. With a sense of purpose and determination, Callion looked to the future, ready to use his newfound skills and strength to protect those he cared about and make the world a better place.
